Chapter 5 - Operation, New Eagles

As the morning sun painted the sky with shades of gold, the trio finally arrived at the massive city gates of Isendelle. They stood in awe of the grandeur and imposing size of the walled city.

However, their amazement was short-lived, as the city knight guards intercepted them at the entrance, suspicion etched on their faces.

One of the guards, his armor gleaming in the morning light, stepped forward and addressed the trio with a stern tone. "Halt! State your business in the capital."

Shiiyo, well-versed in negotiation from his previous life, took the lead. With a calm and confident demeanor, he replied, "We're merely travelers passing through your city. We intend to register at the Adventurers Guild."

The guards exchanged glances, evaluating Shiiyo's words. After a brief moment, they seemed satisfied and granted permission for the trio to enter.

As they made their way through the city gates, the guards stepping aside, Creed and Kyru couldn't help but be impressed by Shiiyo's negotiation skills. Creed grinned and praised him, saying, "Nice work, Shiiyo. You handled that like a pro."

Kyru added with a playful grin, "Yeah, it was a piece of cake for you, huh?" Shiiyo chuckled in response, "Well when you've dealt with corporate negotiations, this seems like a walk in the park."

Inside the city, the trio was greeted by a bustling and diverse urban landscape. The streets were filled with people of various races, including beast folk and elves, each going about their daily lives. The city's vibrant atmosphere left them in awe, and they couldn't help but marvel at the wonders of this new world.

Creed, looking around with a sense of wonder, mused, "I still can't believe we're here, in a different world, among all these incredible races."

Kyru, his excitement evident, added, "It's like something out of a fantasy novel. Who would've thought we'd end up here?"

With a newfound sense of adventure and the city of Isendelle spread out before them, the Trio were ready to explore this new world and uncover the mysteries it held.

As the trio began to explore the city of Isendelle, Kyru couldn't help but notice the tantalizing aroma of various foods wafting through the air. His stomach, seemingly on a mission of its own, began to make quite the ruckus, and he couldn't hide his hunger any longer. He leaned in towards Creed and Shiiyo, humor dancing in his eyes.

Kyru, with a grin, remarked, "Guys, I think my stomach just joined our quest. It's demanding some action."

Shiiyo, ever the practical one, retorted, "Suck it up, Dude. We need to find the Guild first."

Creed chimed in with a wise reminder, "After registering in the Guild, we can think about the next steps, like finding a place to stay."

Determined to press on despite the tantalizing distractions, they continued their journey through the city, talking to the locals and asking for directions. After some twists and turns, they finally found themselves standing at the grand front door of the Adventurers Guild.

As the trio confidently entered the Adventurers Guild, their entrance didn't go unnoticed. The regular adventurers couldn't help but glance in their direction, their curiosity piqued by the unusual gear and imposing presence of the newcomers. Whispers began to ripple through the crowd as the trio, with their distinctive attire and aura, stood out prominently among the regular guild members.

Adventurer 1 (whispering): "Hey, have you seen that trio? What's the deal with their gear?"

Adventurer 2 (also whispering): "I know, right? They look like they're from a whole different world."

Adventurer 3 (whispering too): "And did you get a load of the big guy in the full plate armor? He's gotta be a walking fortress!"

The trio couldn't help but notice the hushed discussions swirling around them. Kyru and Shiiyo exchanged knowing glances, concern etched on their faces. However, Creed, in his stoic demeanor, was somewhat oblivious to the situation. He leaned in closer to his companions and, in his deep, resonant voice, inquired:

Creed with his confused mind "What's going on, you two? Why's everyone looking at us like we're a three-ring circus?"

Shiiyo, with a playful grin, couldn't resist a lighthearted response. "Well, Captain, it might just be because you're the star of the show here in that intimidating armor of yours."

Kyru chimed in, chuckling, "Yeah, and your size could probably block out the sun. We might be the attraction now."

Creed, sharing in the humor, grinned and said, "I suppose I do make quite an entrance."

While they acknowledged the attention they were receiving, the trio knew they needed to do something to blend in and not draw more attention than necessary.

As the trio approached the guild's reception desk, they were met with a warm and welcoming smile from the cute receptionist, Lila. She introduced herself and extended a friendly greeting to the newcomers, saying, "Welcome to the City of Isendelle! I'm Lila, and I'll be happy to assist you."

Kyru, feeling a surge of confidence, subtly nudged his companions and whispered, "Alright, guys, let me handle this one." He winked at them before turning his attention to Lila and began to flirt in his most suave manner. "Well, hello there, Lila. It's a pleasure to meet such a lovely lady in this fantastic place. I must say, your smile brightens up this guild."

Lila flattered but clearly taken aback by Kyru's unexpected advances, started to stutter a bit as she tried to respond. She stammered, "Oh, um... Th-thank you... I... uh... I'm not used to... um..."

Shiiyo, who had quickly grown annoyed with Kyru's antics, seized the opportunity to intervene "Kyru, we're here for business, not flirting! Get your ass back here." He reached over and, not too gently, pulled Kyru's ear. "Ow...ow...ow...don't pull my ears, man!" Kyru protested as he was dragged away from the counter.

Creed, recognizing the need to get back on track, quickly stepped in and apologized to Lila, saying, "I'm sorry for my friend's behavior. We're here to register at the guild and become adventurers."

Lila, now relieved and regaining her composure, smiled and nodded. "Of course, I'll help you with that. Just fill out these forms, and we'll get you started on your new journey as adventurers."

As the trio filled out the necessary paperwork, Kyru couldn't resist the opportunity to tease Shiiyo about the ear-pulling incident. With a mischievous grin, he quipped, "Shiiyo, you sure you didn't want to ask Lila for some tips on charm? You might need them."

Shiiyo responded with a hint of sarcasm, making it clear that Kyru had brought it upon himself. "Well, Kyru, if you weren't trying to turn every encounter into a pickup line, maybe I wouldn't have to step in."

Once the paperwork was completed, Lila handed them a magic tablet designed to read their stats and skills for registration on their Guild License cards. The trio each placed their hand on the tablet, and as the data was processed, Lila's eyes widened in surprise. It had been a while since she'd seen stats this high.

Lila couldn't hide her amazement as she looked at the results. "This is incredible! Your stats are off the charts. You might be par with S-rank adventurers or even Royal Knights!"

She continued to explain the specifics of their impressive stats:

Lila (pointing to Creed): "Creed, your strength and durability stats are simply astounding."

She then turned her attention to Kyru: "Kyru, your speed and agility stats are among the highest I've seen."

Finally, she addressed Shiiyo: "Shiiyo, your mana levels are incredible, and you have affinities for all the elements. You're a true mage in every sense."

As Lila's surprised exclamation filled the air, it didn't go unnoticed by the other adventurers present at the Guild. Hushed conversations began to ripple through the crowd. Some couldn't believe what they were hearing, their whispers filled with disbelief, while others genuinely expressed their amazement and admiration.

Adventurer 1 (whispering): "Did you hear that? They might be on par with S-rank adventurers!"

Adventurer 2 (also whispering): "I can't believe it. Their stats are off the charts!"

Adventurer 3 (whispering too): "I'm genuinely impressed. I wonder what kind of quests they'll take on."

Shiiyo, the pragmatic one, leaned in to address Lila, "Lila, it might be a good idea to keep your voice down. We don't want to attract too much attention."

Lila, composed once more, nodded and added, "Despite your high stats, you'll be starting at rank E, as all new adventurers do. Everyone has to begin somewhere, and you'll have the opportunity to prove yourselves as you take on quests and adventures."

The trio exchanged surprised glances, struggling to comprehend the significance of what they had just heard. While they knew they had been granted extraordinary skills by the goddess, they hadn't anticipated their stats to be this extraordinary. It seemed their journey in Eldora was already taking an unexpected turn.

After completing their registration, the trio huddled together to have a quiet conversation. They were in agreement about one thing: keeping the blessing bestowed upon them by the goddess a secret. They felt that revealing such a unique and potentially powerful ability could attract unwanted attention or trouble, especially in a world where logic and common sense were still uncertain.

Creed, with a thoughtful expression under his helmet, voiced their collective decision. "We're in a new world, boys. We need to learn the ropes and not stand out too much. Let's lay low for now, blend in, and figure out how this place works."

Kyru nodded in agreement. "Right, no need to shout from the rooftops that we have divine blessings. It might bring more trouble than we can handle."

Shiiyo, always the strategist, added, "Agreed. We need to adapt, understand the local customs, and keep our heads down until we've got a better grasp of this world."

After the trio agreed to each other, Creed turned to Lila, the receptionist who had been so helpful. "Lila, do you have any recommendations for a good inn where we can stay? We're new in town and could use a place to rest."

Lila, with a warm smile, gladly offered her assistance. "Of course! I'd recommend the 'Silver Sparrow Inn.' It's not too far from here, and they have excellent accommodations."

The trio thanked Lila for her guidance and headed to the inn she had suggested.

Upon arriving at the inn, they were warmly greeted by a lovely innkeeper named Elara and her charming daughter, Lily. Elara had a kind and motherly disposition, while Lily's youthful enthusiasm was infectious.

Elara, the innkeeper, welcoming "Welcome, dear adventurers! I'm Elara, and this is my daughter, Lily. We're delighted to have you stay at our inn. How can we assist you?"

The trio thanked Elara and Lily for their hospitality and proceeded to enjoy a well-deserved dinner in the cozy inn's common room.

With drinks in hand, they began chatting about the remarkable events they had experienced, the transition from soldiers who once risked their lives for a cause to meeting a goddess and becoming adventurers with a newfound purpose in life.

Creed while reflecting "It's quite the turn of events, isn't it? We went from fighting a war on our world to this... a new world, a new beginning."

Shiiyo being thoughtful "Indeed, Capt. It's as if we've been given a second chance, a chance to make a difference in this world. We'll need to learn and adapt quickly."

And Kyru being optimistic, added "And it seems like we've got some incredible abilities to help us on this adventure. I can't wait to see what we can achieve together."

After a hearty meal and shared stories, the trio bid each other goodnight, their thoughts focused on the missions and adventures that awaited them in the new world of Eldora. They knew that tomorrow would bring new challenges and opportunities to prove their worth.
