Chapter 3 - Heroes in Action!

With the bandit leader's monologue at an end, Creed's pent-up energy burst into action. He charged forward, closing the gap between him and the disoriented bandits, while Shiiyo swiftly tossed the stun grenade into their midst. The blinding flash disoriented the bandits, leaving them exposed and vulnerable to the Trio's attack.

Meanwhile, Kyru expertly leaped onto the rooftop, taking a position that gave him a strategic vantage point. He radioed the others calmly, "I'm in position, waiting for your command."

Just as he prepared to provide sniper support, one of the bandits managed to sneak up on Kyru from behind. In an evil, taunting tone, the bandit swung his sword, aiming to take Kyru by surprise. With swift reflexes, Kyru managed to dodge the attack, and as he did, one of his unique abilities unexpectedly activated. His eyes flashed yellow, and his pupils transformed into a crosshair shape. Time around him seemed to slow to a crawl.

Amidst his surprise, Kyru exclaimed, "What...the..."

As he glanced below, he noticed a target lock-on appearing on the heads of the bandits. A grin crept across his face as he realized the extent of his newfound abilities. With newfound confidence, he unleashed a barrage of shots, taking down the bandits with incredible precision, all while hanging upside down in the air. It was as though he had a cheat aimbot.

Still in awe of his abilities, Kyru relayed the astonishing news to his companions. "I've got... hacks on."

While Kyru expertly sniped the bandits from the rooftop, Creed, and Shiiyo continued their relentless assault from below, gradually gaining the upper hand as they systematically defeated the disoriented and overwhelmed enemies. The Trio's unique powers and tactical expertise allowed them to turn the tide of battle in their favor, demonstrating that they were a force to be reckoned with in Eldora.

Amid the chaos of battle, Shiiyo received a subtle notification. An interface appeared before him, and he couldn't believe what he was witnessing on the screen. A new skill, labeled as "Ice Bomb," caught his attention. This skill could freeze enemies within a certain area, a power that could prove incredibly useful in their current situation.

With a grin of excitement, Shiiyo's hand began to glow, forming a shimmering orb. He expertly aimed and threw it toward the bandits, and upon impact with the ground, an explosion of crystal ice erupted, encasing the bandits' feet. They were immobilized, confusion and panic evident on their faces as they tried in vain to move.

Shiiyo, reveling in the success of his new skill, couldn't resist taunting his helpless foes. He spoke with a hint of mischief in his voice as he mocked them. "Chill out, fellas."

Taking advantage of the frozen bandits, Shiiyo drew his SMG, ready to finish the job. He started mowing them down one by one, the satisfaction of each kill evident in his voice. He even couldn't help but use the iconic announcer's voice from a certain first-person shooter game, calling out the kills in rapid succession, "Double Kill!... Triple Kill!... Overkill!... Killionaire!"

Meanwhile, Kyru, who had been a fan of a certain demon hunter from a beloved game, now found himself in a world where he could emulate that character's personality. As he gracefully pulled out his double Deagle, his newfound agility allowed him to perform impressive aerial flips while effortlessly taking down the bandits.

Channeling his inner demon hunter, Kyru decided to have some fun with it. He adopted the personality and flair of the character he admired, his voice taking on a confident and cocky tone.

"Hey, Bandits! It's your lucky day, 'cause you get to meet the real deal!" Kyru declared in a voice that oozed confidence and swagger.

"Yahoo!" Kyru exclaimed as he twirled in the air, guns blazing. "Come on, you sorry bunch! You really thought you could take us on?"

"Aw, c'mon, is that all the best got? Seriously, it's embarrassing!"

"Hey, did your mommy dress you in those rags? She must be so proud!"

"You're about as tough as a wet noodle. A limp, soggy noodle!"

"Just admit it, you guys are outclassed. I'm on a whole different level!"

He landed gracefully, surveying the fallen bandits with a smirk. "You guys are a real letdown. I mean, you're practically begging me to put you out of your misery."

With a final flourish, Kyru struck a triumphant pose, the Deagles held aloft. He couldn't resist delivering an iconic line with a wink, imitating his beloved character. "Jackpot!"

The enemies are almost defeated, and Kyru's antics have added a touch of playful bravado to the battlefield.

Amid the chaos, a clashing of swords echoed through the village as Creed and Bloodfang engaged in their intense duel. The Bandit leader, a seasoned swordsman, quickly recognized Creed's lack of refined swordsmanship, and a wicked grin crept across his face. He taunted, "You may be strong, but you lack the finesse, Knight! It seems you're at quite a disadvantage."

Creed, beads of sweat forming on his forehead, met the Bandit leader's taunts with a resolute gaze. "Finesse, perhaps," he conceded, "but there's more to this fight than meets the eye."

The Bandit leader took this as an opportunity to press his advantage. With fluid, masterful strokes, he unleashed a flurry of attacks, each aimed at disarming and overpowering Creed.

Creed defended himself valiantly, his shield up, blocking each strike with unwavering determination.

Amid the clashing of steel, Creed's eyes darted behind his shield, and to his surprise, he noticed a holster concealed there. He realized that it held something unexpected—a Chiappa 1887 T-Model Lever-Action Shotgun. A plan formed in his mind as he decided to seize this opportunity to turn the tide of the battle.

With a sudden shift in his strategy, Creed lowered his shield ever so slightly, providing a gap through which he retrieved the hidden shotgun. He brought it to bear, steadying his aim even as the Bandit leader continued his relentless assault. A wicked smile graced Creed's lips, and with a look of fierce determination, he retorted, "Parry this, you filthy casual."

In a split second, he pulled the trigger, and the shotgun roared to life. The blast struck the Bandit leader with a tremendous force, hurling him backward. His body crumpled to the ground, his taunting words left unfinished. As he lay there, defeated and astonished, he could only mutter, "This... can't... be... I, the great Bloodfang, got defeated by a... such..." His voice trailed off, and the forest fell into a stunned silence.

Creed stood there, victorious, a triumphant glint in his eyes. The dramatic clash had reached its conclusion, and the Bandit leader's reign of terror was no more.
