Raymund frowned when he noticed Naya wasn't paying any attention to him. Instead, Naya was lost in her thoughts of how to make Aaliyah pay for making her relationship with her father miserable.
She hated Aaliyah to the bone and also that sibling of hers called Harris. That girl was nothing but trouble to her family. 'Naya, we're supposed to be on a date ', Naya snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Raymund's voice.
That's when she remembered she was on a date with Raymund. Raymund had taken her to her favourite restaurant which took months to get a reservation but Raymund got one in two days because he was an influencer. She was touched that he had cancelled all his meetings for her but she couldn't focus because of Aaliyah.
Once again, she had another reason to hate that witch.
' I'm sorry. I just have so many things on my mind right now ', Naya apologized. Raymund wasn't offended. He understood what she was going through from her father's temper to trying to come up with a good idea for the company to prove to her father that she was a worthy heiress.
Yes, her worries were all about pleasing her father. ' So, what is it this time? Is it about your step sister again?' Naya looked at Raymund and nodded. Raymund sighed.
' She's always the problem. So, what should I do with her?' Naya looked at Raymund surprised . Raymund wanted to help her out with her family problems.
' You're willing to help me make Aaliyah pay even though you don't know her personally?' Raymund sighed. Honestly, he had had enough of this Aaliyah girl. She was always taking up Naya's attention.
All because of her, Naya barely payed attention to him now. And to be honest, he doesn't see any reason why her father would compare such garbage to someone like Naya. It annoyed him.
' Just tell me what you want to do and I'll prepare everything for you'. Naya grinned at his offer and he just smirked back.
' I want her to pay for everything she's done to me over the years. She humiliated me in front of my family and our esteemed guests and took my place iny father's heart. She will have to feel the pain I felt. And I know exactly what I want to do to her'
Raymund nodded in understanding. He wondered what Naya had in store for Aaliyah. But he knew whatever she had in mind, it was going to be great.

Two years later;
Aaliyah was so tired as she fished out the keys to her apartment from her bag. Finally, she found them and opened the door. She dropped her bag in the table and slumped down on her small two-seater couch.
Slowly, she drifted to sleep.

Soon, she woke up to the sound of someone knocking on her door. She groaned in frustration as she looked at the clock which pointed 9:00pm. Who in their right mind would want to visit someone at this time of the hour?
The knock came again and as Aaliyah walked to open the door, she prayed to God that it wasn't one of those kids again else someone will be going home with a broken tooth.
She turned the door knob and saw her bestie, Jordan, standing there with a horrified look on her face. She could tell it wasn't something good. ' Bestie, you're famous' Jordan said with a nervous chuckle.
Aaliyah was confused. How could she be famous? Maybe she was still asleep and this was all just a dream. ' Jordan, quit talking nonsense. I don't assume you came over just to pull my leg' Aaliyah asked and the nervous smile on Jordan's face disappeared and was soon replaced with a horrified look.
' Bestie, you're on the news....'
