After weeks of training, Olive learned to fear the two junior cadets, especially Liam who glares at him whenever he's within five feet of them, he gives him a murderous gaze. He had to sleep with one eye open because he was worried Liam might decide to get rid of him quietly and it wouldn't be a pretty sight.
Anyway, today is their last day of training, tomorrow they will be sent out to the trenches or somewhere else and Oliver hasn't been able to gain the favor of anyone here.
His heart fell knowing he might die. He hasn't even begun his bucket list.
He sat outside and cried.
He heard the sound of footsteps and looked up to see Null and Liam standing next to him. "What are you doing here?" he asked his voice cracking slightly.
"I don't want to be here," Liam replied coldly. "But he wanted to check up on me because he was worried about you," he said talking about Null.
