Gu Yao held his head to support himself ,he was trying to see if he could see more of the memory that suddenly popped up but his headache just became worst .
In all of this,Mei Wen was looking at him with genuine worry and heartache etched all over her face,she had not yet realized that she was deeply in love with him but she felt that he was her responsibility because she had willingly married him, meanwhile, Gu Yao was still in shock when he realized that...he too had lost some memories.
"no ,how is that possible ?!...but I remember everything that happened when I was a child in order ...unless....my memories were altered and not erased."
Even he could not bring himself to such conclusion,even that's the only thing that he could think of at the moment.
Lost in the moment,a petite warm hands brought him back to reality. He looked over to stare right into Mei Wen's worried gaze.
"Are you alright now ,i made ginger soup earlier ,just wait a while let me go warm it up".
Mei wen rushed out words after words before standing up to go get the soup ready but she was suddenly pulled back by a special person.
Gu Yao hugged her tightly and didn't say anything about the memory relapse he had. He felt so safe and happy when he was holding her.He then released her and looked her in the eyes with a serious yet gentle expression.
"Mei Wen ,let's go visit my family soon okay ,the sooner the better don't you think".
Mei Wen froze up in shock,her eyes started to sting as she nodded. .
Whenever she always mentioned the matter of meeting Yi Chen parents ,he'd always avoid the topic now she had Gu Yao who took the initiative,of course it made her happy.
"My parents and siblings have been wanting to meet you since I found you.may be your memories can come up again after you go to the old house,it was after all what you called your second home".
"hmm...are there things that I should know about your family,what gifts can I buy,ohh what do they like..."
Gu Yao also became excited due to Mei Wen's enthusiasm and rubbed her head lovingly.
" You don't have to worry too much,apart from my third uncle , everyone else is pretty much united."
Mei Wen looked at Gu Yao curiously,
"What did your third uncle family do that made you all dislike him."
Gu Yao suddenly grunted as he thought back to something,he then looked at her with a smile.
"He tried to take what was yours "
Mei Wen "..."
Huh!.
"Mine?!,what are you talking..."
"You'll know when we get there tomorrow"
Mei Wen looked up at him then focused her mind back to her phone.

Wait a minute... tomorrow?!!!
She shot up from the bed like as if she was electrocuted,she looked at the calm Gu Yao who was looking at her with confusion over his face.
"What happened to you..."
"Gu Yao , tomorrow,as in, TOMORROW!?!"
Gu Yao sat up straight on the bed and looked at her with an alluring gaze . "Yeah , what's wrong with that".
As he said that she immediately ran out to the bathroom and locked the door,the other door was being knocked on and Gu Yao stood up and saw a servant with the ginger soup and took it from her and locked the door.
Thirty minutes later...
Mei Wen looked at Gu Yao's figure from time to time , checking him for any slight discomfort. She was worried about him and didn't want him to follow her but he forced himself to come ahead
"Am I that handsome that you keep checking me out every second"
Gu Yao laughed as his bright eyes faced Mei Wen's face that was already burning .
Mei Wen, still flustered, attempted to play it cool.
"Who said anything about you being handsome? I was just making sure you're not feeling unwell. It would be a disaster if you fell sick before visiting your family.
"Gu Yao grinned mischievously, enjoying the playful banter.
"Disaster, you say? Are you that concerned about me?".
Mei Wen huffed, trying to conceal her embarrassment. "Of course not! It's just... you know, common courtesy."
Gu Yao chuckled,
"Well then, consider my health in your capable hands, Doctor Mei."The nickname caught Mei Wen off guard, and she couldn't help but giggle.
"Doctor Mei, huh? I think I like the sound of that".
They immediately reached the mall after a little chat.
They walked in together looking for things to buy for Gu Yao's family.
An hour later ....
"So we've bought everything that we need... except for your sister.. hmm... since she was my playmate and best friend,I want to give her something special."
Seeing her racking her brain and taking time to select a gift for his sister made his mouth a little sour.
" Don't stress your self for that girl , let's go buy other things".
Gu Yao said dejectedly as he dragged Mei Wen across the stores.
"Brother Yao!".
Both Mei Wen and Gu Yao stopped to look at where the voice was coming from and saw two rich looking ladies coming towards them.
One had a scowl on her face while the other hid her disained expression so well that no one would notice it but Mei Wen had seen a lot of people and talked to a lot of them , so she easily noticed the look behind her fake mask .
Mei Wen looked at Gu Yao and saw that his expression wasn't that good too. She then looked backed at the two women in her front with a matured and noble aura of a royal .
Xian Yin was a little bit suffocated from the lady in her front aura but she didn't want to back down.
She looked at Gu Yao with stars in her eyes.. walking a little bit closer to him.
"Xian Yin, please keep a distance,you can see that I'm here with my wife"
