Chapter 1 - Sunset in a Maze

It was sunset already. The sun was busy illuminating the whole sky with beautiful colors. The sky wasn't blue instead it was embellished beautifully with pastels. The chirpings of birds filled with joy could be heard, indicating their happiness on returning to their abode after a long day of search. The pastel cotton in the sky looked oh so inviting, giving the spectators the impression that they were sweeter than grapes and softer than a toddler's fluffy cheeks. The sun itself looked like a soft golden fluffy ball. The soft breeze only added to the beauty of the scene. It all felt surreal and dreamy. But it didn't have any effect on the brunette laying on the ground. Her hazel eyes stared right back at the sky. Her attractive eyes seemed in a haze, blurry were her insides. Despite the serene surroundings, the thing inside her head wasn't at peace, A mess, it was. The breeze must have sensed her uneasiness and so it blew away those disturbing thoughts by playing with her brown shiny locks. And only then did she notice the pastel clouds floating above her. The blows of air whispered sensations in her ears and a beautiful smile appeared on her face which was a rare sight. The breeze started tickling her and the sound of her soft chuckles resonated in the sky. The golden ball up in the sky smiled warmly at her. In no time, she noticed the squirrels, rabbits, sparrows and birds returning to their abodes. The birds that were advancing towards their nests also stopped by to catch a glance of her. The nature loved her to bits and why wouldn't it, after all she was the daughter of nature, it's most beloved being. But the brunette didn't believe so, she thought she was the most cursed being of nature. Ohh to live the life of curse, a tragedy, a real tragedy it was.The title "daughter of nature" suited her selfless personality which was often misunderstood as mean, rude and deraconian. Nobody knew the circumstances she was facing only she did. The nature loved her no doubt but one couldn't say the same about destiny. This serenity of her was not long lived as she had to get back to her work. She dismissed her solace and got up to leave the gigantic and glorious park, as she was leaving a gush of air blew by her, and she heard a whisper warning her "be on guard" followed by a blurry vision and whispers of help and like this the seventeen year old teenager stumbled on her feet and came to her senses. Like always it terrified her and shook her to the core and she didn't wanted to return. She knew a hell must be awaiting her.
