( All the characters look around them but find no one . The author frowns and snaps his fingers . In an instant , woman in a black dress appeared . )

Author ; thank you for joining us Devi .

Devi ; Of course . I am happy to .

( They look at it each with looks of venom )

Milo ; Author , shouldn't we continue ?

Author ; Right Milo . Anyway , you're all back for this second book and I haven't changed anything about you .

All Characters ; Thank you .

Author ; Now for the other characters , you'll have to meet them yourselves in the book . Are you ready ?

All characters ; Yes .

Author ; Good . Now good luck to you all .

( The author snaps his fingers and the characters disappear. Except for Devi )

Devi ; I will win this time .

Author glares at her ; That's for me to decide .

Devi smirks ; We will see author . We will see .

( Devi disappears in a cloud of black smoke . Author sighs heavily and grabs his pen . )
