Chapter 40 - Death of Xerxes

You blacked out since I took the hit, I pulled you towards me and fell from your horse which you half seen the whole thing. The moment when you saw me bleeding was when I already am it and you were knocked unconscious after hitting your head on a rock in the battlefield. Though Xerxes was able to do that, you my queen still had the power to throw your battle axe at him when he came near us to check I we're still alive or not. The time you woke up was in reflex you dealt with him perfectly and you saved both of us because of your rigorous trainings and dedication to be the best warrior and foot warriors of all time! Hydra cried and bowed her head down in front of the pharaoh. And along with the council elders, the people in the room, maids, Yuya, Sabah, Meraek, Angianasim and the generals, smiled and bowed their head down to pay their respects to their beloved queen and powerful leader of Egypt, Henshu.

Long live Pharaoh Henshupta! Long live the queen! Long live Hydra and the generals! Long live Egypt and our future kingdom, it's greatness and supremacy!!!!! Hura….Hura…..Hurayyyyy!!!!!

Hahahah…..everyone shouted and Hydra advised the palace musicians and dancers to celebrate the nations win and the battles that they will win in the future.

Yuya made sure that the food is the most special and exquisite of all the meals he prepared for the queen. He imported the lambs meat from the Arab mountains, spices from Mesopotamia and melting cheese, aromatic spices, salads from Greece and sweet desserts like food for the gods from Persia. It is indeed a happy occasion which Henshupta wasn't so proud of since she needed to murder yet another king or leader for the crown, for Egypt, for the seat as pharaoh and ruler of the world.

Day 2

Hydra continued to explain what happened and Henshu kept listening when they were in the battlefield killing all the soldiers that come their way, That time they didn't think of anything but just to survive the day and come back tomorrow for another day of killings and surviving yet for another day until they reached the 3rd day.

Day 3

However, Henshupta also planned that since Xerxes knows about the fortresses, she advised her council, Sabah, Yuya, viziers and generals to intercept using their military spies, to build military garrisons, army camps and blade soldiers on foot, horses and chariots as they solemnly wait for pharaoh's orders to secretly attack the enemies at the sides, and far off locations hundreds of kilometers away from the fortresses and the border. It was all perfect but Xerxes knew what Hensupta was planning and sent a convoy of his double so we weren't able to seize him outside the forts.

Day 4

We were able to meet Xerxes in the main battlefield and he went to forefront to meet with Henshupta and was supposed to kill her if it wasn't for Hydra's intervention. But Henshupta since a veteran soldier and a warrior who doesn't sleep nor get unconscious in wars, she woke held herself together and stroke Xerxes when he least expected it. After he threw the javelin, Hydra used her body to block the blades of the weapon and the moment it struck her, Henshupta was able to get up from the fall and threw a battle axe she got hold of a dead Persian soldier beside her and struck the king outright on the head. Blood oozed their way from his cracked head and died an instant death. Henshupta then fainted and Hydra carried her to a horse and went back to camp travelling the whole day till the next to save her life. Hydra lost a lot of blood and was pale, hungry and thirsty when she arrived the palace.

The generals made use of the victory and gathered the Persian soldiers who fell down to their knees and begged not to be killed or spared to go back home to their homes and families. Hydra and the generals found out that Xerxes though he is a great leader was never kind to his soldiers and spend a lot on himself and his caprice but not on his soldiers food or welfare. His soldiers hated him but feared him because he implanted fear in their hearts that their love ones will get hurt if they will not follow his commands. Hydra and the generals gave the Persian soldiers food to eat and water to drink. They made sure all soldiers will be medicated and sent home to their families and live to tell the tale of how Egypt helped and fed them in this unforgettable and memorable war between Egypt vs. Persia in the history books.
