Chapter 27 - Volume 2. Chapter 2 - The Terrible Beast.

And after spending quite a lot of time like this, we came across something walking heavily through the forest. To be more precise, a wounded goblin was trudging along the edge of the forest, with a slow, half-dead step.

Well, I think he's the luckiest among the goblins to be able to survive and bring his pathetic puny body to the test of my spell.

But I don't want to kill him so easily, I want to do it with maximum force!

Leaving the summoned assistant on guard, and safely hiding, I put my hand towards the victim, pulling my sleeve wide, the inner space began to darken and seem to thicken due to the influence of the shadow torch.

A couple of moments later, the image of a massive, incredibly sharp spear without a shaft flashed in my head.

My pupils were trembling slightly due to my diligent concentration. But, at the same moment, something jumped out from the opposite side from me, smashing the goblin's head like a ripe watermelon.

My hand jerked in surprise, as if releasing the thread of a spell. And almost knocking me down with its recoil, a spell flew out, cutting through the bushes, it rushed towards the creature opposite.

Abruptly straightening up, I glanced at the uninvited guest.

A creature standing on all fours, but still as tall as my chest. The likeness of a lion with veins swollen with rage, on his greenish ears there were long resemblances of tassels on the ears of a lynx. And his paws were dotted with green, seemingly sturdy, scales about the size of a playing card, only one of them was decorated with a through hole. In addition, my hit was confirmed by the severed tail, now lying a short distance from the monster.

Well, it's not even worth talking about his bloodshot, embittered eyes. Apparently he won't let me go that easily now.

The creature rushed towards me, while its claws turned red, as if pulsating.

And the monster's furious attacks left behind the same vivid afterimage, pinching me more and more.

Until a blow went through my back.

The monster almost completely cornered me, but almost in a second and under unpleasant circumstances, a sword flew in front of the beast's muzzle.

Even on three legs, the monster easily dodged the attack, but was immediately caught by my shadow capture spell, although it almost easily freed itself from a pair of dark tenacious hands at a time.

While the skeleton was putting up a shield, I spilled a couple of poisons on my hands.

But the monster was not going to delay, jumping on the assistant, he was immediately rebuffed. Even though his powerful blow shattered my skeleton's shield.

And right after that, I had enough time for my transformed hand to enter the monster's belly with a disgusting squelch.

In the agony of death, the creature began to writhe, waving its paws, finally breaking off the skeleton's arm, and also wounding my torso with its claws, from the shoulder to the pelvis itself.

In a panic, the hand inside the monster bursts into flames, and then again, until the beast finally collapsed, knocking me over with its massive bulk.

Looks like he's finally dead.…

Crawling out from under the corpse, with blurred vision, I noticed a tree, which I later leaned against after falling to the ground.

And now, skeleton, act as I taught you.

And the assistant, after a short delay, was still able to pull out a flask with a healing potion, but with difficulty uncorking the bottle, he poured all the contents over my head.

I have a vavka in another place, but even such an application of my potion could guarantee the healing of quite a good wound.

While my wound was healing, mana was replenished a little, so I quickly began to treat my "miracle doctor".

Phew…
