In the lobby of the company, Astor Gregory was there to lead Roan away, leaving Nova to make her way up to his office alone. She nodded to acknowledge Rosa's wave as her hands were full, getting on the elevator only to hesitate at the sight of the other person inside.
Mia had mostly stayed away from her after her first day on the job and Nova couldn't be happier, she contemplated saying 'hi' and squashed the idea immediately, not wanting to even have a conversation with the other.
Mia however had planned this, she had waited for her boss to come into the office, planning to find a way to corner his personal assistant so they could have a conversation. Luck was on her side because she had been separated from Roan right in the lobby and now they could have that talk.
"Nova?" She spoke, noting that the assistant flinched at the sound of her voice. "Could we have a talk?"
