Roan silently led the way out, the air was cool but the morning sun was warm, making a pleasant contrast. He said nothing as he waited for her to speak, giving her no more leads.
"I saw Nova come into the coffee shop over half an hour ago." The worker immediately said.
This held Roan's attention, his eyes narrowing. "And how do you know Nova?"
"I'm um… Stella… her…" She started to stammer, getting incredibly nervous. Was this really worth it? Maybe she should have just kept her mouth shut, she had already decided not to get involved with Nova anymore.
"I remember you," Roan smiled but it was a chilly expression. "You said she came to the coffee shop?"
"Y-Yes," Stella confirmed, unsure of her safety. "Then she left with a man," She added cautiously, gauging Roan Reyes' reaction.
