As Ms. Ardell ran away from the middle, Percival slowly walked towards Sévir.
Huh? Why is this guy walking towards me? Sévir slowly walked backwards as Percival got closer and closer.
Is he waiting for me to attack first? Okay then, fine by me. Sévir ran towards Percival with nothing on his hands but clenched fists. I don't want to use magic yet, I'll use it when the time is right.
As Sévir got within range, he threw a punch on Percival.
Percival smirked as he dodged to the left... And to the right at once?
Sévir gasped quietly. There's not one.. But two!? Clone Magic!? Sévir quickly tried to back off, but is to late when Percival punched him in the guts, followed by his clone kicking him in the face.
"How's there two of them!?" Sanguinex looked at Minerva for an answer.
"Percival is well known in this academy for his Clone Magic, he's the only one who has that magic here.
In the 10th and 20th categories, he dominated with just one clone, the only ones that were able to end his streak were the lower Undefeated Octets when they weren't an Undefeated yet." Minerva gave her an answer.
She looked back at the arena, her eyes narrowed as she gripped the ledge harder. "How will Sévir do this..?"
This guy is using mixed style.. That's why he casted without saying or holding anything! Sévir backed away even more. As far as I know, clones can think independently like Sanguine, if the original one is intelligent, then the clone is also intelligent.
"Pariah Prince? Pariah Prince? Why aren't you attacking anymore? Are you scared?" Percival chuckled as he asked.
I see.. So he's that type of guy. He narrowed his eyes as he observed Percival and his clone, trying to notice any difference.
"Let's have a fun game Pariah Prince. Would you mind listening?" They both asked.
"..What is it?" Sévir asked without letting a single inch of his guard down.
"If you're able to identify who among us is the clone and take him down, I'll admit defe-"
"Sure. Come at me." Sévir abruptly cut them off while gesturing them to charge at him.
He's not going to us huh? Fine then, we'll go to him! Percival and his clone ran towards Sévir with their fists ready.
As they got closer and closer, wind whooshes out of Sévir's dagger towards the two as he drew it from his belt.
As if they were already expecting it, they duck, Sévir steps back as he casts wind spells on them to slow them down.
Okay, I should stop walking back now. Sévir stops walking back, waiting for them to run towards him and strike.
As they both enter his range, he quickly moves to the right, to who we will call Percival-1 (–the other will be Percival-2), he attempts to punch him in the guts but Percival-1 catches on quickly and blocks it.
As he blocked it, Sévir aimed his dagger at his face, a strong wind pushes him away, making him trip to the ground.
He switches to Percival-2, blocking his punches and kicks with his arms the moment he started attacking him.
When was the last time I used a sharp weapon without injuring the opponent? Damn I don't know. This is hard.
The other Percival will get up very soon.. My urge to stab them is growing! He clicked his tongue as he spots Percival-1 getting up.
I noticed something though..
This one's blows are much more weaker than the other, that has to mean...
As Sévir blocked yet another blow from Percival-2 he suddenly charged in with his dagger aimed at Percival-2's guts.
Without giving him enough time to react, the dagger pierced through his skin, going deep until it reached the hilt. He still has a long way to go before making he and his clone hard to identify, it became too clear!
He pulled the dagger out and kicked him hard to the ground, leaving the audience shocked.
"Wait wait wait– He managed to beat his clone while barely using magic!?" A student asked in shock and disbelief.
"Is it that big of a deal?" Sanguinex asked.
"It is pretty much so. No one has been able to win this 'game' he's been proposing for quite a while now, everything about them in the outside are just the same, nobody can spot a difference.
And yet here's Sévir who just won the game not even 15 seconds into the game in his first time." Minerva replied.
Percival-1 or the real Percival stood there dumbfounded, his and Sévir's eyes meet each other.
He couldn't help but laugh as he raised his hands. "Okay, okay, I surrender!"
Ms. Ardell walked to the center as she announced Sévir as the winner, the crowd is silent.
"Nobody's reacting.. Was it that much of a big deal to defeat you?" Sévir looked towards Percival for an answer.
"Pretty much, you're the first one to beat me in my game, less than 15 seconds too, that is."
Okay.. So much for showing that you're weak, Sévir. A voice said in his head with a disappointing tone.
Oh hey Green, you're awake. Said Sévir as he climbed up the auditorium.
Before he could get up, Ms. Ardell grabbed his foot.
He looked down. "What is it?"
"Get down everybody, class is now dismissed and we'll be leaving the stadium now." said Ms. Ardell.
As she walked away, he let go of the ledge and followed her, followed by the rest.
