"[Destruction Blast]" a ray of destructive energy left Marks arm and obliterated the lvl 5 Wolf, Kira watched interestingly, her master improved quickly, she was happy.
"Master, what are we going to do next" Kira asked moving closer towards him.
Mark turned back to look at her with a smile. "The angels live in the high heavens…do you know where that is" Mark said eerily.
"…The sky?" Kira replied with confusion.
Mark sighed. "I wish, the map says it's in the Ancient mountains, guarded by an AngelBeast, it's roughly north from here, it's a level 15 zone" He looked up into the sky, he wondered if the game deva were insane making this kind of planet, no?!! they were insane for making god knows how many plants.
Mark remembered this was a crafting game too, he entered his menu and looked at the craft button, he tapped it.
[Crafting Menu:Rank 1.
[Recipes:Healing potion, Mana Potion,Slime bomb.
[Craft Skill: Lvl 1/10
He found the mechanics easy, if you gather new materials, you unlock new recipes, but he can also craft 'custom' things after the crafting skill reaches level 10.
Kira was playing with the small glowing light following her everytime. "Master, we could easily reach there, but you need to get a mount and get stronger too." She said excitedly looking at mark.
"You are right." Mark sighed, he could log off right now. He turned around and suddenly felt danger. He sidestepped away from his location and what appeared was a Level 10 Earth tiger burrowing out from the ground.
"Hey kira, is this good enough for a mount" H asked, his scythe,Zenith of destruction glowed in a dark red light. Kira observed the beast and seemed to have been disappointed. "Master, that beast is too weak, You can probably gain a better mount by doing a summoning ritual and getting a legendary beast," she suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Mark considered her words for a moment. "A summoning ritual, huh? That could be interesting," he mused. "But first, let's deal with this tiger."
The Earth Tiger roared, shaking the ground as it prepared to pounce. Mark tightened his grip on Zenith of Destruction, feeling its power course through him. He dashed forward, his scythe slicing through the air with a menacing hum.
"[Destruction Slash!]" he shouted, unleashing a wave of dark energy towards the tiger. The beast barely had time to react before the attack hit, tearing through its defenses and sending it crashing to the ground.
As the dust settled, Mark approached the fallen tiger and inspected it. "Well, it's not a legendary beast, but it might still be useful," he said thoughtfully.
"How should i do this…hmm submit" Marks hand glowed red as he pressed his hand on top of the beasts head A crimson aura enveloped the Earth Tiger, which began to tremble under the force of Mark's will. The beast's eyes, once filled with defiance, now showed a hint of submission. Mark could feel the connection forming, the magical bond that would bind the creature to him as its master.
"Submit," he repeated, his voice resonating with authority.
The Earth Tiger growled lowly, its body relaxing under Mark's touch. The glow from his hand intensified, and soon, the bond was complete. The Earth Tiger was now his mount.
Kira clapped her hands excitedly. "Master, that was amazing! Now we can travel much faster."
Mark used his destruction haki to make the beast submit, it was relatively easier than he thought, he could see its stats too, also the game seemed to have unlocked a new feature.
[Secret Feature:Pets.
[Low-grade-mortal pet:Earth Tiger.
[Abilities: [Earth Burrow],[Seismic Roar],[QuickSand],[Earth Armor].
Mark saw the beasts skills and realized he needed a bit of defense, but his natural defense is good too, wearing armor may limit him and he was pretty sure a reaper isn't supposed to wear armor.
"Kira, let's go towards the Angel city, There are some places i we need to avoid though" Mark glanced at the map, in their way there, there were a few dungeons and towers they could clear, and there was also the area's where only a lvl 30 being can survive, but mark is a god, he is stronger by five times his level.
…..
[Primogen Space Station]
"Sir we have detected a warm hole moving towards our solar system, we call it the Abyssal Rift," reported one of the technicians, his voice tinged with concern.
The station's commander, a stern-faced man with a steely gaze, leaned forward. "Abyssal Rift? Give me a full analysis."
"Yes, sir," the technician replied, typing furiously on his console. "The Abyssal Rift is an unstable spatial anomaly. It emits high levels of dark energy and appears to be heading directly towards our planet."
The commander's frown deepened. "Is there any indication of what might come through it?"
One of the scientists came and immediately said. "No it will release a stream of dark energy into the planet and then disperse, we should be safe for now, but the long-term effects on our world are unknown."
The commander stood, his expression resolute. "We must prepare for the worst. Alert all defense units and initiate contingency protocols. We cannot afford to be complacent."
The station bustled with activity as the crew hurried to follow orders. The sense of urgency was palpable, a stark contrast to the calm of space outside.
in the edges of a building, a woman wearing a dark eyeglass looked up into the skies, she seemed to have a bit of disdain to whatever she was glancing at. Countless hisses were heard from her long green hair.
"This is earlier than expected, after this happens the collision would begin in a year…How bothersome, i hope some competent players are found in the game, at least they have a chance to survive.
...
Kira and mark were riding the beast and they stopped in front of a cave. "A level 5 hobgoblin dungeon, let's go"
Kira and Mark entered the cave cautiously, the Earth Tiger padding silently behind them. The cave was dimly lit, with the occasional flicker of bioluminescent fungi casting eerie shadows on the walls.
As they ventured deeper, the sounds of distant grunts and clanking weapons grew louder. Mark gripped Zenith of Destruction tightly, ready for whatever lay ahead. Kira, ever observant, kept her senses sharp for any signs of danger.
"Master, I sense multiple presences ahead," she whispered, her ears twitching. "It seems like a patrol of hobgoblins."
Mark nodded, his eyes narrowing. "Let's deal with them quickly. We can't afford to waste too much time here."
They continued forward until they spotted the patrol: a group of five hobgoblins armed with crude weapons. The creatures were ugly and vicious, their yellow eyes gleaming with malice as they spotted the intruders.
A dark red fire ball floating above marks arm, he immediately aimed at them and then said. " Fire Magic:Destruction ball" the fireball shot forward with deadly accuracy, engulfing the hobgoblins in flames. They shrieked in agony as the fire consumed them, their bodies crumbling to ash soon after.
Mark and Kira pressed on through the dungeon, navigating through traps and battling groups of hobgoblins that stood in their way. With each encounter, Mark's mastery over his abilities grew, and Kira's support proved invaluable.
After clearing several rooms, they reached the heart of the dungeon where a larger hobgoblin, adorned with crude armor and wielding a hefty club, awaited them.
[Goblin Chieftan: Lvl 15.]
[Hp:700/700]
"Welp, it's Olden Amulet type battle i guess" Mark went into the Attack zone of the boss, the chieftain snapped its head back as it looked at him threateningly.
*Roaaar*
The chieftan hit his club on the ground, sending out a seismic wave towards him, mark ran forward without fear, dodging the attack, marks scythe glowed as he sent out an ark of destruction at the goblin, its club shattered when it tried to block the attack.
