Chapter 14 - Lily’s Adventure—Fighting Nemo

Voltis sped through the ocean, gliding effortlessly across the rolling waves, its claws barely skimming the water's surface. The faint crackle of static trailed behind them as Lilly kept a steady grip on the gecko's sleek back. Lex perched on her shoulder, his golden fur ruffled by the wind. Ahead, a small island came into view, a jagged rocky outcrop crowned with sparse vegetation and surrounded by swirling eddies of disturbed water.

"Almost there," Lilly muttered, her voice sharp with focus.

But just as Voltis was about to reach the shallows, the water beneath them churned violently. A deep, guttural growl reverberated from below, sending ripples across the ocean's surface. Lilly's eyes snapped downward, her mana sense flaring instinctively.

From the depths, an enormous shadow surged upward. With a thunderous splash, a monstrous fish the size of a small warship burst from the waves, its jaws wide open and lined with rows of jagged, obsidian teeth. Its massive, bulbous eyes gleamed with a sickly yellow light, and violet energy pulsed from the markings etched across its bloated, armored body.

"…That's not good, Voltis stay back, Lex may need some help" Lily jumped off the back of Voltis, her wings flared beautifully in the brightness of the twin suns.

She unsheathed Horizon and was ready to fight the monster. Lex stretched for a moment before it's eyes opened up, A brilliant burst of light erupted from Lex as his small feline form expanded, his golden fur radiating like miniature suns. His reindeer horns grew massive and twisted, crackling with celestial energy, and his sharp golden eyes glowed with the wisdom of countless ages. The air around him hummed with raw divine power as he hovered effortlessly beside Lilly, now towering over her in his true form.

[Lex, Godbeast of Observation]

[Stage: Lesser God Form]

[Level:10(Sealed)]

"Meow~ Master, let's make this quick. I have no interest in being fish food today," Lex said, his now deep and resonant voice echoing like a distant star-song.

Lilly's wings flared wide as she hovered above the raging waves, her sword The Horizon of Stars shimmering with celestial light. Voltis retreated to the shallows, sparks flickering across its wet scales as it chirped anxiously.

The Armored Angler Fish let out a guttural roar, its deep voice vibrating the very ocean around them. Its glowing lure began to pulse, violet energy gathering into a swirling orb above its grotesque head.

[Paralization?!]

The orb turned into a beam that immediately pierced its way towards the two.

[Light Magic:Refraction]

Lex's horns glowed

with celestial brilliance, and the air around him shimmered with divine energy. He raised one massive paw, and in a flash of golden light, the beam of violet energy collided with an invisible force, bending and refracting into harmless splinters of light that fizzled out in the open sky.

The Armored Angler Fish let out an enraged roar, its dark eyes narrowing as it bared its obsidian teeth. Its violet-imbued body rippled with power, and its mouth opened wide, ready to release a second beam.

"Looks like we'll need more than light to stop this one," Lilly murmured, her fingers tightening around the hilt of The Horizon of Stars. The sword pulsed with cosmic energy, radiating a soft nebula-like glow.

She flew into a dive, her wings cutting through the air like a blade as she zoomed toward the beast, the horizon of her blade trailing starlight. With a sweeping motion, she swung The Horizon of Stars in a wide arc, releasing a shimmering crescent of celestial energy.

[Stellar Blast]

The crescent of stars raced toward the fish, but the creature responded faster than she anticipated. Its jaws snapped shut with terrifying speed, and the crescent impact was swallowed whole, the attack dissipating into the ocean without a trace.

Lilly's eyes narrowed. "Damn, it's more resistant than I thought."

Lex's golden eyes gleamed, and with a low growl, he shifted his stance. "Master, let me handle this pest."

With a flick of his tail, Lex shot forward, his celestial form turning into a streak of golden light. As he approached, the fish's eyes locked on him, its large body twisting in the water, preparing to unleash another attack.

[Poison Spikes]

All around the monsters body, purplish spikes growed and then ejected, all of them then swerved in the air and targeted all three of it's attackers.

Lily flew towards them parrying them in the air with clean precision, of course she was frazed bya few of them.

[You have been Poisoned]

[2768/3000]

"Tsk" After the volly of spikes receded Lily flied towards the Monster, she channeled mana into her blade and sent out an arc of it from Horizon.

The arc of mana was not noticed by the monster and it hit it on the back creating a deep gash.

Lex opened its mouth and a magical circle of light began to form above him. The air around them vibrated as the celestial energy swirled into the formation. Lex's golden fur shimmered with the raw intensity of the magic as his eyes glowed brighter, the sheer weight of his power building.

[Heaven's Requiem]

The magic circle expanded rapidly, its edges flickering with ethereal light. Lex released a roar that resonated across the battlefield, sending waves of divine energy toward the Armored Angler Fish. A blinding pulse of radiant light erupted from the circle, striking the fish head-on. The water around them boiled as the immense force of the spell slammed into the monster, tearing through its armor and burning its hide.

The fish let out an agonized screech, thrashing wildly in the water, but the divine energy held it in place, its body writhing in agony as light pierced through the dark water.

The creature, weakened by Lex's attack, began to lose its footing, its body sinking slightly lower. But it wasn't done yet.

In retaliation, the Armored Angler Fish's glowing lure flickered once more, and a thick mist of violet energy began to swirl around its body, emanating from the deep gash Lilly had inflicted. It wasn't just poison—it was an aura of pure, corrosive malice.

[Violet Curse: Toxic Bloom]

The mist spread quickly, thickening in the water, and even Lilly felt the effects as it started to cloud her senses. The very air seemed to grow heavy with venomous energy.

Lilly hissed, her wings beating harder to stay aloft as she shielded herself from the toxic fog. "This thing's not giving up…" she muttered, feeling the sharp sting of the curse crawl through her body.

[Violet Curse: Poisonous Drain]

Her health bar dropped again, but the cursed aura was something she could manage for now. The lingering poison wasn't as potent as the direct spike hits, but it still drained her strength.

[Armored Angler-Fish]

[Lvl 30]

[Hp:1793/5000]

"Lex we are close, let's wrap this up quickly"

[Will of the Sword]

[Sword Mantra]

[Stellar Haki]

The skills all activated draining a tremendous amount of mana from her, a terrifying amount of energy poured out from her frame and her sword began to reflect the cosmos.

Horizon screeched with pleasure.

[The Dawn of Horizon has activated [Spatial Container] The Event Horizon has been released]

The sky above seemed to bend inward, stars flickering into existence within the void surrounding The Horizon of Stars. The blade no longer simply glowed—it devoured light around it, becoming a fragment of the cosmos itself. Lilly's silhouette was illuminated by the swirling celestial energy coursing from the sword, her wings now edged with shimmering starlight as if woven from fragments of constellations.

Lex hovered nearby, his golden eyes widening slightly as he observed the raw force of Lilly's unleashed power. "Master… You're truly pushing your limits."

The Armored Angler Fish hesitated for the briefest moment, its instincts registering the sheer danger radiating from Lilly. But survival instincts overtook hesitation, and its bulbous eyes glowed once more with desperate, violet malice.

[Abyssal Maw]

The fish's mouth expanded impossibly wide, black and violet energy swirling into a chaotic vortex. The water around them surged, pulled violently into the beast's gaping maw as it prepared to unleash its final, most devastating attack.

"Lex, keep its attention. This ends now!" Lilly roared, her voice cutting through the crackling energy in the air.

Lex nodded once, his celestial horns sparking with golden light. With a sharp flick of his tail, he surged forward, a blazing comet of divine radiance aimed straight at the creature's head.

[Celestial Judgement]

Golden runes formed in the air around Lex as beams of concentrated starlight rained down on the beast, each impact searing the armored hide of the Angler Fish. It thrashed violently, trying to swat Lex away, but the Godbeast was relentless, his form blurring as he weaved between the monster's strikes.

Meanwhile, Lilly's energy built to a crescendo. Her health bar ticked downward as mana bled from her body, fueling the colossal technique she was preparing. The air around her sword distorted and fractured, as if the very fabric of reality struggled to contain the power condensed into her blade.

[The Dawn of Horizon: Event Horizon]

Lilly vanished. Or rather, she moved so quickly she became indistinguishable from the streak of starlight trailing her blade.

The Angler Fish's violet vortex attack fired just as Lilly reached it, a swirling tidal wave of dark energy exploding outward. But it was too late.

Lilly emerged from the veil of starlight directly above the creature, her blade raised high and blazing with infinite cosmic energy.

"This is the end!"

She brought The Horizon of Stars down in a single, devastating slash.

Time seemed to freeze. The stars reflected in her blade shone brighter than ever before. The ocean itself split open beneath the force of the attack, and the sky above rippled outward as though reality itself had cracked under the sheer weight of her strike.

A soundless explosion followed—a moment of perfect silence before an ear-shattering boom erupted across the battlefield.

The Armored Angler Fish's body froze, its violet glow extinguishing in an instant. A deep, radiant fissure spread across its armored hide from head to tail.

Then, slowly, it began to fall apart. Its massive body disintegrated into glowing particles of violet and blue, carried away by the ocean currents as the light of Lilly's final strike faded into the distance.

[Level Up!]

[Level 11?!]

Lily looked at the Event Horizon with shock on her face. "Holy shit, Spatial Container is Op, also my health is dropping pretty fast but my vitality is strong enough to resist…but how do i cure poison"

As she said that, Lex transformed back into its small form and appeared on her shoulder. "I can use a spell"

[Light Magic:Purification]

With a small flick of his paw, a circle of radiant light appeared beneath Lilly, intricate runes spinning lazily in the air as warm energy cascaded over her body.

[Light Magic: Purification]

[Status Effect 'Poison' Removed]

[Hp: 987/3000]

Lilly let out a sharp breath, relief washing over her face as the violet tinge receded from her veins and the dull ache in her chest faded. "Thanks, Lex. I owe you one."

Lex gave a satisfied flick of his tail, his golden eyes narrowing with playful pride. "You owe me more than one, Master. I expect premium fish snacks after this."

After thay she flew towards Voltis and they continued the journey to the island which was met with no inconveniences.

After they arrived, Lily immediately logged out.

....

In her gaming pod, Lily came out *Censored* And when to the bathroom to take a bath and wear some clothes , after that she went on her way to cook.

Then she heard the door bell, she left whay she was doing to ho see who was at the door.

After opening it she saw a girl who looked fifteen with white hair and black eyes and a girl similar of age with blue hair and eyes. "Cousin, how are you"

Victoria asked with a smile.

"Hello Victoria and Anne, who brought you guys here or did you run away again, your dad asked us of your whereabouts just last week when you two went missing" She eyed them suspiciously.

"Cousin Lily please don't bring up bad memories, it wasn't a pleasant experience when father found us" Anne shuddered as she thought of their previous punishment.

Lily chuckled and then invited them in.

"If you guys want to meet Mark, you would have to wait he is playing godcraft, in the meantime you can help me cook"

"Ok" Victoria happily agreed and Anne followed.
