While waiting for these friends, the man took out his lighter and a cigarette from his pocket, he looked

"You promised me you were going to quit smoking. You wouldn't dare lie to me

The man rubbed his cheek with a small smile, facing the slap of the woman.
"No, don't worry about that. Come on, let's wait for the others at the bar"
The two went first to the bar hand in hand. Arriving at the bar they fell
in front of the people they were waiting for in front of the school.
"Hey! Owen, Maddie come we got you seats and something to drink"
"You two are already here".
Owen pulled out Maddie's chair while talking to the two twins (Mike and Morgan).
Owen, Maddie, Mike and Morgan were four inseparable friends who loved spending time
time together.
Throughout the evening, Owen and Mike had fun having a contest to see who
could drink the most. They made bets and challenged each other to try to
surpass.
After a while, they both found themselves drunk, laughing and joking together.
Maddie and Morgan, who had remained sober, watched in amusement.
Eventually the evening was over and Maddie decided to take Owen home to
can rest. As she drove him, they both laughed reminiscing about the
highlights of the evening.
When they arrived at Owen's, Maddie helped him into his apartment and into bed. She
said goodnight and promised to come see him the next day to make sure he was okay.
Owen smiled and said thank you, then...
Owen was about to fall asleep when he realized he couldn't see. He stood up
jumped up, panicked, and tried to find something to light up. But he failed
couldn't find the bedside lamp, and he realized he was blind.
"Maddie...I can't see anything..."
"What ?! It's probably because you drank too much, it should be better."
