Chapter 3 - The Blasphemous Capital-S

Through the winged eye i was finally able to see the outside, sadly it wasn't a nice view. The tower floors are worlds of their own, and the 60th floor was a particularly gross one.

The name of the floor is [The Blasphemous Capital] a gargantuan size victorian city. The capital is covered in perpetual night and rain, both of them not normal, the moon is red as wine and the rain isn't water but blood, it's streets are flooded by said rain and the insides of the buildings are infested by the citizens turned monsters and beasts. Everything alive inside the capital is affected by the influence of Seerackt, and turned into flesh eating monsters. The citizens were transformed into [Impious Blasphemers] a human which lacks skin and eyes, they share some characteristics with Seerackt, or me, like the snow white hair, claw-like fingers and elongated spines poking out through their clothes.

The dogs were turned into [Wretched Hounds] giant dogs with decaying skin and broken bones sprouting from inside like blades. Cats were transformed into [Phantom Felines] small white cats with bright red eyes and dagger-like fangs, physically weak, but able to phase through walls and deliver deadly attacks.

Horses were now [Decapitated Fiends] skinless house size monsters with half of their heads missing and legs which ended in sharp bones, they roamed the floaded streets and could easily kill anything that was unfortunate enough to encounter it. Meanwhile the crows which were attracted to the smell of blood turned into [Blood-starved Beasts] among the animals which inhabited the 60th floor, they were the more dangerous, they appearance was that of a giant crow with their head turned upside down and an extra eye in they're forehead, they were about the same size as the decapitated fiends but were more deadly because they would fly high up in the sky and skydive onto their prey with devastating force, the only thing they wouldn't hunt were the decapitated fiends because it meant a fierce fight.

The story of this floor was told to the player through diaries, newspapers and item descriptions. It was pretty long and complex but putting it simple, the first inhabitants of this lands found Seerackt imprisoned deep inside a cave, the people which were initially terrified of the dormant deity soon found their fear turned into greed once they realized that the blood which oozed from his body could heal all their wounds, but also grant them superhuman capabilities. The city flourished through the commerce of said blood and soon a religion was formed around not the god, but his blood and the riches it could grant them. However they were reckless and naive, they're use of his blood and the constant use of his name gave him strength, enough to wake up from that dormant state and punish the ones who dared blaspheme him, in the end, the townsfolk precious capital turned into a nest of monsters, and they're were the pest that inhabited it.

And unfortunately for me...this was now my "home" which i couldn't leave.

"I hate my life..."
