Arduous' response was without hesitation. He was looking at her straight in the eye, imploring her that he was serious. Elizabeth took a deep breath. She had read about it before and indeed, every book that she had read about it says that there was indeed pleasure in pain. But then, she had also read that only a few people were able to hold it.
"But I've also read that not everyone can handle pain just to get pleasure. What if I can't take it?"
"Elizabeth, being able to take pain and being unable to when it comes to sex is in your mind. You are the one who will decide whether you can handle it or not."
