Chapter 53 - The Covenant Room.

The bright morning dawned; Mariel's body had almost returned to normal. She wanted to return to studying with her friends as usual, the nurse came to check on her health and gave her medicine. By the way, Mariel could come to see the doctor to check her body every evening until she recovered.

Beatrix, Mania, and Bellany were waiting outside the patient's room and brought Mariel's clothes and bath items. Once she was all dressed, she put everything in her luggage bags and went to her morning class with bright smiles on her face beside her friends.

Mariel's heroic deeds were talked about throughout the school. This made all the students in Class 2 very sad that they lost in the last few minutes before the closing time collecting scores at midnight.

"Is it that Mariel?"

"I can't believe it's her who lead the victory for Class 1."

"This month we will definitely not be lost. Let do it!"

The sounds of other students whispering behind their backs about last night's events, but Mariel didn't care much because the most important thing was that she and her friend are safe from danger.

"My lovely Mariel!" A familiar voice sounded again.

"Is there something wrong? Senior Jack." Mariel turned to ask with a suspicious look on her face.

"I'm very worried about you. So can you please take this from me?" Senior Jack said as he handed over a bag with some things inside. Its appearance was like a small brown bag, but it looked surprisingly luxurious.

"What is it?" Mariel asked curiously after receiving the bag.

"It is a special tea from Lasinal L'Orient. It is a mixed fruit flavored tea with a lovely taste. When you drink it, your body will feel refreshed and very relaxed." Senior Jack explained with a smile.

"This kind of tea is very expensive, and you have to reserve it for months before you can get it." Beatrix said, surprised that Senior Jack was able to find such a thing.

"The price is around 100+ gold coins!" Mania said.

"Yes, I just want my lovely Mariel to drink, and your body will recover quickly." Senior Jack said with concern.

"Thank you very much, Senior Jack." Mariel said, using her left hand to gently stroke Senior Jack's right cheek as a thank you. This made him jump with joy and walk away with the group of his henchmen in a good mood.

"Today is the first day that we will enter the outstanding room. I'll make this kind of tea for you all to drink." Mania immediately offered to make tea for the other two friends.

"Thank you, Mania." Beatrix and Marielle said in unison.

"Always yes," Mania responded with a smile.

They joined others at the entrance for the winning classroom to collect outstanding room points, then a large golden door opened with many amazing things inside.

"Oh my god! It's so beautiful." Every male and female student's voice exclaimed with the utmost impressiveness.

Inside the outstanding room, there was a very large space where over 50 tables and chairs carved with beautiful patterns were arranged in neat groups. Good air conditioners were installed in all directions, making them feel even cooler and more relaxed.

"Everyone, look over there." a female student shouted in shock as she pointed out to her friends in the far-right corner.

Long rows of large tables with flower-patterned tablecloths served a variety of snacks and main dishes. And what is indispensable is Countless desserts and cakes.

"It's as luxurious as my house, and it's wonderful!" Bellany said.

"Snacks include Mixed seafood soup with mellow flavor Various types of fried food as for the main dishes, there are Spaghetti: Grade A beef steak with side dishes Stir-fried noodles. As for desserts, there are more than 10 types of this. As for the rainbow cake, it will come later. Today is special for the first day, everyone will be able to eat one piece each." The head cook introduced the various food menus with a smile.

"Yes, thank you." Every student said thank you at the same time.

All the students ate food deliciously. Some people order a special menu that they want to eat and get it at a very cheap price. Then, when the rainbow cakes were brought to the table, it became a small war as everyone rushed to grab the cake for each of them.

"Should we wait for this to calm down first? Then we go in and pick it up later." Beatrix suggested this idea because she didn't want to crowd people into getting the cake.

"You got it!" Mariel said.

But...Jerrick and another close friend picked up 5 rainbow cakes and put them on a plate.

"Give it all to you, my dear ladies." Jerrick said in a good mood.

"Thank you." All 3 girls said gratefully.

When the rainbow cake was placed on the table, Mania just finished making the tea that Senior Jack gave to Mariel. The aroma of the tea made Mariel feel relaxed. Surprisingly, the pain throughout her body gradually disappeared.

"Mariel, here it is." Jerrick said, using a fork to poke out a bite-sized piece of rainbow cake and pretending to feed it to Mariel.

"Uh...well..." Mariel made an expression of embarrassment at Jerrick's service to this extent.

"Miss Beatrix, this is for you." Mania said and did it too.

"I told you, you can call me Beatrix, ah!" Beatrix scolded softly, then opened her mouth wide and took a piece of Rainbow Cake into her mouth with a delighted expression.

"It's really as delicious as others say. Now, it's my turn." Beatrix said with a happy expression and returned the favor to Mania as well.

"Mariel has no sympathy for me." Jerrick looked sad, as if he was about to cry.

"It's not like that. Ok, I'll eat it." Mariel replied with a sigh.

(Well, feeding cake by men probably won't be a big deal. Normally, in the past life, they almost ate the same pot of rice. This wouldn't be too much.) (Chai thinking)

Mariel ate the first rainbow cake. The first experience of the sweetness and gentleness of flavors that have never been tasted before. It made her mind almost immediately float away from the body towards heaven. It was indescribably delicious. In this world, are there any cakes that are delicious like this one?

"Very delicious!" Mariel exclaimed with a happy expression.

"See! It's good. Now, feed me too." Jerrick said, opening his mouth and waiting.

"Just this time." Mariel said as she gave him a piece of Rainbow cake back.

When everyone had eaten until they were satisfied, Assistant Principal Elizabeth opened the door to the Outstanding Room with a composed expression.

"Finish eating? Please follow me. I'll take you to the covenant room." Elizabeth said, closing the door and waiting outside.

"What is it? That covenant room?" Marielle asked curiously.

"Oh, it's a privilege from the winning room. No one knows what's inside because everyone's desires are different, but I guarantee you will definitely like it." Beatrix explained.

"By the way, Senior Ken told me about this room, but he didn't tell me about details. Well, I will see it with my own eyes. Mariel said, remembering the incident from talking with Senior Kane several days ago.

"Alright, everyone, gather around and follow Elizabeth." Bellany said to the others, herself at the head of the line and the others standing in line.

Elizabeth walked in front of the group of Class 1 students towards the activity building near the back of the school, then she stopped at an old stone door.

"Step away." Elizabeth ordered, spreading her right hand forward and casting a spell.

*Crack*... The stone door slowly opened, smoke slowly rose from the room inside, indicating that the room had been closed for many months.

"This is the covenant room. It is a room that can be used for unlimited multi-purpose activities. What you think, ideas, and desire. This room can serve you very well. A maximum of 5 people can enter, and you should allocate your time accordingly. One time should not take more than 2 hours only because you have to give this room to others. You all divide into groups and allocate your own time because this room can be accessed 24 hours a day. However, if there is a need to temporarily close it, we will inform you in advance." Elizabeth explained.

"Then my group is the first to enter this afternoon. There are exactly 5 of us." Bellany said, joining a group of exactly 5 women.

"Sign your name in front of this door. If you want to change the time or cancel, you can arrange it by yourself and don't make any trouble!" Elizabeth said, then she walked away.

Everyone gathered. Most of them will choose from similar future directions. When they go to use the covenant room, they will be able to do the activities correctly as they want.

Mariel waited for everyone to complete the booking list for the Covenant Room. Then she walked in to check the time again and found that most people would leave the hours between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. because it was a resting time. Mariel chose to use the room from midnight to 2 a.m., while Beatrix and Mania used the room from 10 p.m. to midnight before her.

"I've heard it for a long time. You must prove how important it is, this Covenant Room." Beatrix said.

Mariel separated to join the swordsmanship training club for additional training. As for Beatrix and Mania, they went their separate ways to do club activities according to their individual aptitudes.

In the evening, they came back to their room to do homework together. Then they went to the kitchen to cook dinner and eat together. Mariel did more food for Apophis and used magic to teleport the food box to a specific location for Apophis.

Apophis walked out of the cave and found that a food box had been teleported in a corner at the side of the cave entrance. As soon as he picked it up, the aroma of mixed seafood curry over rice wafted through his nose and made the stomach growl immediately. When he opened it and found that there was another large row of bread, including the rainbow cake that Mariel didn't eat her own piece but gave to him eat this cake instead.

"It smells really good. Thank you very much, Mariel. And this legendary rainbow cake. I need to taste some. Yummy!" Apophis said with a smile and mouthwatering. Then he walked back into the cave with the food box.

At 10:00 p.m., Beatrix and Mania excused themselves to use the covenant room from the others. Mariel chose to read her textbooks in her room at first and when it was close to midnight, she slowly left the room to go to the activity building again.

Until Midnight, the stone door of the covenant room suddenly opened, Beatrix and Mania walked out of the room with excited expressions on their faces.

"How is it?" Mariel immediately asked.

"Very good. What do we hope to do? I want to be an adventurer in the future or in various career fields. Everything in this room will be created all for your wishes. I will practice more and learn until I progress to another level." Mania said in a good mood.

"It is indeed a covenant room that everyone would want to use at least once." Beatrix said.

"Your wishes might be different from me. In any case, don't overdo it." Mania said.

"I'll go back to my room first. See you again." Beatrix said, shouldering her bag and getting ready.

"Alright, see you later." Mariel said, walking into the room immediately. As soon as she entered the room, the door slowly closed. Then there were lights shining from all directions, so that everything in the room could be seen more clearly.

In the center of the room appeared a single stone pillar with an old book spread out.

Mariel slowly walked over to look and found that the old book was empty, with no letters written in it at all.

"What book is this? There aren't any letters." Marielle said in surprise.

*Wink*

A white light suddenly appeared from the book, so bright that Mariel had to cover her eyes with her hand in distress.

"Welcome to the Covenant Room!" a mysterious voice said from this old book.

"Hello.." Mariel responded.

"Tell me your wish!" a mysterious voice said loudly.

"Um...I want to be the strongest swordswoman in this world!" Mariel answered loudly and clearly.

"The wish that every swordsman wants to be. I might have to test you to see if you pass the exam or not." the mysterious voice said.

"I can do it!" Mariel responded with a smile. Then she summoned the Dragon Slayer Sword and immediately prepared to fight.

Suddenly, the stone platform in front of Mariel disappeared and various kinds of monsters appeared. Whether it be goblins, winged monsters, more than 20 of them and large 4-legged animals that she has never been seen before in her life.

"Use your abilities to prove it to me!" A mysterious voice challenged.

"That's a piece of cake!" Mariel said as she turned up her fire magic power to the max and slashed at the demons and monsters without fear.

After a while, Mariel had them all dissolved, leaving no one remaining. Even though she didn't use much strength, it felt like she was warming up before the real one came.

"This is not much." Mariel said with a smile.

"Lol!" The mysterious voice didn't answer but laughed mysteriously. Suddenly, all the lights in the room went out at once until it was completely dark.

"What! It suddenly became dark. What exactly were you thinking?" Mariel said, turning left and right, ready to act all the time.

The sound of footsteps coming from the dark inner corner was getting closer and closer. Mariel turned her fire magic power towards the Dragon Slayer Sword to get a clearer scene of the room.

But....Mariel was shocked by what was in front of her because she didn't expect that this time she would appear like this person, ready to fight with her, with a very familiar smile.

"You are…" Mariel said in a panic.

"Me? Yes! I am you, anyway. Lol." The voice from that woman was another Mariel stood staring at her with the same Dragon Slayer Sword too.
