Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 – A clue to the progress.

{{If somebody is wondering. I changed the mouths to the normal ones instead of the stuff I came up with. So now its normal 12 moths now.}}

"Bye! Let's go out again when the festival will come!" – said Iris while getting into the carriage.

After our little visit to the magic store and buying some books, we returned back to the Vvirian mansion. Shortly after returning back, Iris was picked up by her servants and took back home.

Honestly, I kind of spend rest of the day interacting with my parents. I kind of forgotten to spend time with them because on how I was focused on getting stronger. I just wanted to spend bit time with them.

Honestly for a few days I wasn't doing much of the training and instead goofed around and relaxed, since I know I won't have a lot of time as I have right now when I grow up. I was relaxing a bit.

But I wasn't goofing around all the times. The book I got from the store may or maybe not a thing that I needed.

"Manifestation Summoning Monster Control" is a book about how to properly control the manifested monster and how to give them instructions.

Honestly, I though book could help me and be my lead, but after few days of trying, the results weren't even worth a time. I had the same results when I was doing with the books from the library about the golems.

It be maybe better if I explain this a bit.

The instruction you can give to the manifested summons as well as golems are both very different and very similar in the many different ways.

For the manifested summon, the instruction can be given when casting the spell and creating the creature.

As for the golems, the instruction needs to be implanted before the golem is "Finished" making.

When it comes to creating a manifested summon, you need to experiment a bit. You need to use your mana and find a proper shape and the density for each body part. Apparently, the person needs lot of mana during those experiments so they can have easier time reaching the proper shape and how much mana need to be used where exactly. From what I read from the books, even if you have proper instructions on how to do "it", you still need to experiment to find out yourself.

Next, the golem body. Unlike the summons, you are the person that can decide fully on the golem size, wight, height and the other stuff. You can make it hold a weapon or even make its hand a weapon, its your choice.

Now when it comes to the coding and manuals.

When giving orders/manuals to the golems or the manifested summon, you need to considering their body, how they work, their power and the other stuff. The process of the implanting those manuals is completely different from each other, but the codding part does share a lot of similarities.

For the summons, their body is their flesh while for golems their body is a tool. It may sound a bit weird but it's real.

The summons require a manuals that has the commands on what to do.

For example:

[When somebody gets near me, attack them and then quickly run away.]

While the golems needs instruction on how to do things, simply put you need to learn for them on how to use their body.

For example:

[Lift your right hand. Pull it back. Send it forward towards the enemy.]

On top of it all. Each different golem and manifested monster need their own manual. Even if it simple "Walk", they need the different version of the "Walk" manual. Each manual needs to be specialty made for each different types of golems and different types of summons.

I thought if I try thinking other way around when making the golem manual, making it similar to the manifested summons manual with changes, it would work.

But after few days passed, I discover that I just made exactly the same thing like I did before. Well, the same thing with the same results with just many different steps for no real reason that do jack shit.

The thing I literally did was something: Doing a hard workout for no reason when I only wanted to take the bite out of the bread. A fuking useless results that was not worth it at all.

(I thought I was on the right track this time and maybe this will prove to be the thing I needed, but I guess fuck me in the ass.)

"What I'm doing wrong? Is there something that I'm missing? Maybe I need more mana to create a proper manual or maybe the golem itself doesn't have enough mana, maybe it's impossible to create an even basic golem right now that can only walk with my current amount of mana. However, I can't even make a pile of rocks that can't be even called a golem do a thing I want."

"Do I suck? Maybe I have completely no talent or whatsoever when it comes to the golems."

"Maybe I have to train more and understand how it works or maybe I should do series of the test over and over again?"

"…."

"Fucccckkkkk...….. I don't know what to do." – said Uri while sitting in his room.

(Maybe…... Maybe golems weren't the right approach?)

(What if I just spend years trying to learning on how to make the golems and end up with nothing or with barely anything in the result.)

"…."

"Tch. Man, I can't bloody think straight."

(I though spending some time relaxing could help up a bit as well, but I guess it didn't helped me as well.)

(Maybe I should try and make my summoning magic stronger? In case I ended up being completely incopeted with the golems, I can try and switch to the summons if something goes wrong.)

(Or maybe I should forget the fighting and try and become blacksmithing. I will probably learn alchemy and blacksmithing when I would try and improve my golem craft.)

(Fuck…. This is getting bit irritating.)

While the boy was lost, I thought, somebody knocked on the door.

'Sign'

"Enter." – said Uri

"Excuse me." – said Allie while entering the room.

"Hi Allie. Is it time to go out?" - said Uri while trying not to sound stressed.

"Yes. The new year festival will soon start. We shouldn't keep anybody waiting."

"Okay, then let's go." – said Uri while looking at his notebook full of sketches, before closing it and leaving the room.

(Today is the last day of the year and the new year festival will also take a place. I even had a birthday 2 months ago and turned 7.)

(….)

(…. Ah fuck it. I'm still irritated about all this. I should just go and enjoy the festival while forgetting about everything else. Right now, I'm so pissed at myself that I can't think straight.)

The boy left mansion with his parents and headed towards festival by foot. After arriving at the festival, the family went to the restaurant nearby and sit outside, waiting for somebody.

"… Ah! They are here already." – said Phan Vvirian.

The people that approached the family was a pair of adults with Iris Necrohearth.

"Sorry for keep you waiting. The streets were literally filled with too many people." – said the man dark hair and stiches marks on his left check.

[Irold Necrohearth – The current house of the Necrohearth house and the father of the Iris Necrohearth.]

Next to the man was a woman with a long black hair and a purple that resembles that of the Iris. The woman's name was Ivona Necrohearth and she was mother of Iris.

My parents and Iris parents' kind of became friends after me and Iris begin meeting each other. Apparently, my mom and Iris mom both attended the academy and both of them hated the academy equally, I guess their hatred towards the academy made them close friends with each other.

Now I'm kind of curious on what the fuck did academy did to my mom and Iris mom. I know they are pieces of the shit from the novel, but maybe I shouldn't pry into that, mom doesn't like to talk about her time she spend in the academy.

As for my and Iris father…... Well…. Let's just say none of them want to piss of their wife no matter what.

And yes, the answer is "Fear".

Anyway, our families got close and could be consider friends as of right now.

"No problem. We literally just sit. Anyway, do you want to go somewhere or wait until the festival starts?" – asked Phan Vvirian.

"Hm…. Well, I guess we are fine with whatever you come up with." – said Irold Necrohearth.

"Well, lets just walk around and see what the festival has to offer. By the look of things, its already starting, so let's go." - Phan Vvirian.

Both the Vvirian family and the Necrohearth family enjoyed the festival together.

We visited many different stalls and of course some food stalls because of Iris.

There was also some stalls with different games.

There was even some street performances taking place.

Some people were playing with the instruments.

Some people were laughing.

Some people sing.

Children were running around and adults got drunk.

Honestly…... Being a child once again is kind of fun.

Honestly, I could have been reincarnated into a worst situation. I do realized that I could have been reincarnated in not very pleasant life. Honestly, even though I was reborn as the "Uri The Trash", I could have ended worse. For example, I could have been reincarnated and then killed seconds later or I could have been a powerless orphan that was abandoned by everybody.

I was reincarnated as ordinally nobody that didn't had any special talents or anything unique, but it could have been worse.

Well… Even though there is peace right now, I don't know what will happened in the future….. I should just forget about everything for now and enjoy myself like a child.

"Hm. Guys. By the look of things, they will soon fireworks. I reserved a nice place where we can view and relax and maybe eat something if somebody is still hungry." – said Phan Vvirian.

The group walked through the streets and arrived at the restaurant. The group went on the second floor and sit next to one of the tables that was located on the balcony.

"Huh. This is really nice place. This place seems quite full as well." – said Irold Necrohearth.

"Its thanks to the guy I know that run this restaurant. He was knight, but he later had to retired and take care of his children. He is a quiet good cock, just order some of the stuff he is making and you will see." - said Phan Vvirian.

"Hm…. Well….?"

Before Irold Necrohearth said anything, a sound of the firework going off could be heard, fallowed with the series of the bright lights filling the night sky.

"They fired the fireworks. Well, happy new year." - said Irold Necrohearth.

"Happy new year." – replied everybody.

The cheers and laughter took the streets while the Uri and the others observed the sky filled with fireworks and continue to enjoy themselves.

"Uff…. I'm full. I can't eat any more." – said Iris.

"…. You ate who know how much before we got here and you even ordered some more food and ate it all. Honestly, I don't know if I should show respect or be scared right now." – said Uri.

"Hey! Screw you! Everything is tasty!" – replied Iris.

"Honestly, I think you shouldn't eat that much Iris, you will get fat at this rate." – said Iris mother.

"Ugh!"

"Hahaha…." – laugher slightly Uri.

(This is nice. Honestly, when did I last time had a time like this? A friendly atmosphere where everybody enjoy themselves?)

"…."

"Hey kids. Wanna see something cool?" – said Irold Necrohearth.

"?"

The man lifted palm and on top of it a small sparks begin to appear and the sphere begin to form, before moments later the man lifted his arm towards the sky and ball of the sparks flew high into the air before exploding like a firework.

"Wow." – said Iris and Uri.

"What was that?" – asked Iris.

"It's a simple trick my dad tough me once. He always fired some of them in the sky when the new year started. He kind of wanted to show off and wanted to provide a bit of entertainment."

"How do you do it?! Can you teach me that?!" – asked excited Iris.

"Calm down. Honestly this isn't a simple spell, even though its not meant for combat, but its also an interesting one."

"Honestly, it may not look interesting for some people, but it can help them improve a bit. The main part of this spells revolve around the imagination and sensing. You need to imagine how the spell will work, from the moment it was launched to the end effect. And you need to feel and understand the flow of the mana to the spell will work correctly."

"…Hm… I think I heard about this once before. By any chance, is the spell name called [Playful Firework]?" – asked madam Upira.

 "Yea." – replied Iris dad.

"Oh! I knew it! I read once a book written by Agus Alanali. Wasn't he the one that made that spell?" – said madam Upira.

"You read his book? Huh, I didn't know anybody read that old book besides me." – replied Irold Necrohearth.

(It seems our parents are getting along quiet well.)

(And as for Iris. She seems fascinated like a child. Well, she is the child. I'm also a child right now.) – though Uri while smiling.

The festival continue for a while, but we couldn't stay for long because it was getting late and our parents wanted us to go back home. Also, because Iris fell asleep like a corpse. Honestly, even after we returned back to the mansion, I could still hear the people singing and playing around

 'Yawn'

(Wow. I'm freaking exhausted like hell.)

(I normal didn't found a parties or festival very interesting in my previous life, but this time I had fun.) – though Uri while in his room.

(I though Iris parents would be more "Grim" or negative or something since they practice necromancy, but they were very cheerful couple. I could tell that they weren't faking it or anything.)

"…. Today was fun." – said the boy while changing his clothes.

(Honestly, the spell that Iris father used was quite interesting.)

(Apparently people used it for training or something.)

(Imagination and sensing huh? I never knew that -)

"…..."

"…. Wait." – said Uri while stopping him self from entering the bed.

(Imagination and sensing?)

(Now that think about it? Did I ever used them?)

(Whenever I used any spell, I fallowed strictly everything by the book, since I never used magic in my previous life.)

(Each time I did used magic, I manage to used it successful after trying over and over.)

(It worked, so I though the knowledge from the books were correct.)

(However, when I was making the golems I though that maybe the stuff written in those books were wrong and tried changing it a bit, but it still didn't worked.)

(Now that I think about it. The characters in the novel were able to create their own spells or arts, but how they did that?)

"…...They imagined them."

(But the imagination alone isn't enough. The mana that is used for the spell must be controlled or the spell will go out of the control.)

(Its like Iris father said. You need to imagine how the spell works and you need to control your mana in the way that spell will activate. You need to imaginative and realistic.)

(What if the thing I was lacking wasn't in the books, but was instead in my head?!)

(Did I ever tried to understand how EXTACTLY mana works with the spells?)

(Did I ever wandered how the spell EXTACTLY worked?)

"…. No. I never did."

The boy looked at his hands before closing his eyes. After closing his eyes, the boy made a magic circle appear and a small pebble begin to appear.

(Calm down. Don't rush. Try to understand. Just like I did before when I was sensing my mana when I had mana overcharge syndrome. Slow it down the process as much as possible and try to feel it.)

"…."

(I feel it. Traveling through my body and then leaving before entering and becoming one with the magic circle.)

"…."

The boy opened his eyes and saw small rock in his hands.

"…. It's worth a try."

Uri quickly went to the corner of the room and took out the test golem he made before that failed.

After bit of struggle, Uri manage to move the golem to the middle of the room before then tinkering with it.

(This is just theory but what if the reason why I wasn't able to understand how to "Write" was because I didn't try imagine and feel it.)

"I need to write them like that spell. I tried making every movement 1 by 1 until it reached the end result, I want, but what if should have written it all together as a one action. From the start to finish all at once."

(On top of that, maybe I need to use my mana differently. Maybe I need to make my mana flow differently? But how? Maybe I should try and make it flow when I was casting a spell? Let's try that.)

Uri tinkered for a while with the test golem, before getting away from it.

"…. Start."

"…."

Moments after giving the command, the golem raised on of its foot while shacking a little.

The golem didn't stopped shacking; however, it did continue moving. After lifting its feet, it slowly tried putting it feet on the ground.

Seconds later, the golem manage to successfully put its feet on the ground, but after that it fell over and broke.

"…."

"It took it…. It took a step."

(Never mind that it fell over after taking the step, all it matter is that IT DID TOOK A STEP!)

"I did it. I FINALY FUKING DID IT!"

(It maybe possible! It maybe possible for me to create a golem in the future! There is a hope!)

"…."

"But first, I need to go to sleep. I'm way too fuking tired."
