Chapter 51 - Savior

The energy forms a swirling mass of darkness that pulsates with raw power. Lilith's smirk widens, the satisfaction in her eyes growing as she watches our reactions. This is what she wanted - to see us brought low, tired from battle, struggling to keep our bearings, consumed by worry and fear.

I feel a hand on my arm and turn to see Persephone, her usually bright eyes shadowed with concern. "We have to stop her," she says, her voice carrying a hard edge of worry.

Nodding my agreement, I raise my bident high and charge towards Lilith, Persephone following closely at my side. But before we can reach her, the energy around her erupts into a blinding light that fills the area, forcing us to retreat back into the fray of battle.

Athena swings her spear at a minotaur coming towards me but finds herself having to duck under the swinging arm of another gorgon. Thanatos and Hypnos are locked in their own fights, pushing back against the relentless onslaught of minotaurs.
