A sharp noise echoes through my mind, jolting me awake. My eyes snap open, and I take a deep breath as I absorb my surroundings. The virtual world of the game surrounds me once again, and I am back in the same spot where I had died in the game by Ceto.
Relief floods through me as I realize that the wound from the bullet is no longer there. My body is whole and alive once more. As I look around, I notice that the cave seems different somehow, as if the graphics have been tweaked or updated.
Suddenly, Apollo's voice breaks through my thoughts as he rushes towards me. "Hades!" he calls out, his face filled with concern.
"I'm alive," I reply, feeling a sense of unease wash over me now that I know more about this game.
A notification from the system appears on my screen: "You have been reincarnated. Your stats and inventory remain unchanged."
Apollo's eyes widen with relief as he takes in my appearance. "We thought we lost you...but here you are."
