For several days Shirley had been studying the documents her father had given her earlier and today she decided to visit the mana stone quarry that had recently been discovered in their territory.
Shirley actually had concerns about this matter, given that Count Janice's family was also in this business too.
Somehow Shirley had a bad feeling about this matter, but she had no other choice if she really wanted to leave home.
"I hope Thalia and that witch won't plan something to bring me down this time," muttered Shirley feeling quite anxious.
Shirley was still preparing to go to the mine when she saw a maid coming to her room.
"What's wrong?" asked Shirley, still focused on the mirror.
"Sorry to interrupt, My Lady. It's just that young Master Janice came and wanted to see you," explained the maid.
"Take him to my reading room, I'll meet him there in a moment." Shirley gave her orders to the maid.
