In a semi-conscious state, Shirley felt the carriage they were travelling in topple over and make a huge noise.
Shirley felt her body being tossed around in the carriage and her body was slammed into the side of the carriage, causing her head to bleed.
With the rest of her consciousness Shirley searched for Charlotte, who was fortunately not far away but in a worse state than her.
And Shirley saw that Charlotte was unconscious at the moment with blood oozing from her head.
Despite her own injuries Shirley dragged herself closer to Charlotte, slowly shaking her body gently.
"Ch-charlotte! Wake up!" Shirley shook Charlotte's body several times but she did not wake up.
"Shit! What am I going to do," Shirley muttered as she clenched her fists in frustration.
Rosemary would be furious with Shirley if she knew that Charlotte was dying like this, it could be her who was killed by Rosemary for letting Charlotte die.
