Despite her irritation, Shirley dragged Noah along with her, following where that man would take her.
"What do you think he'll do for us now?" Shirley whispered back to Noah.
"Most likely he'll just show you how the workers work here, then subtly kick you out," Noah explained with a faint grin.
"Isn't that exactly what he should do?" Shirley replied while frowning.
"You'll see," Noah replied with a slight smirk.
Shirley just snorted, then didn't pay attention to Noah anymore. And that man didn't stop either, Shirley didn't know where to take them now.
Until finally Shirley saw a large hole in front of her and she could see only darkness in the hole.
From what Shirley saw, she could guess that the large hole was the entrance to the mine. And Shirley thought that the man was going to take them there.
But, just as Shirley was thinking that, their steps stopped not far from the large pit area.
