During the rest of the morning, Naekle spent her time making Asaki and Celia try a variety of clothes until Milas arrived.
It felt... Really strange. She acted so... Normal. Until yesterday, Celia and Asaki were litteraly dying. And now, Naekle was almost trying to make them forget about it.
'Something... Feels off... It's not realistic at all...'
But... Come to think about it, acting in such a manner could also be Naelle's mind reaction to a possible trauma. Asaki recalled about something similar in a book he had read back then.
"Crap... I didn't find anything at the shop, sorry... It seems that it was already missing some foods before... Whatever's happening."
And here come the second thing which was also disturbing Asaki... The blonde-haired man, whom just arrived, was a liar.
Even if a shop was at the bottom of the bottom, it still needed a certain amount of food to keep being open. At least... In its stack. And everybody knew that rule, everybody.
So, if Milas wasn't lying, then... Others survivors had take the good away with them.
'Flesh... Strange wounds... New companions from nowhere...'
Everything was happening way too fast, and not following any kind of logic ; as if trying to imitate the work of Fate...
And... What's more... Celia was still acting strangely since they awoke. It was easy for Asaki to guess that something also bothered the Aurora, and that she wanted to tell it to him.
But, she also seemed really hesitant to do so, and each time the man had tried to ask her, she always avoided the discussion.
'The twins trulty act strangely... Not that it means that they're bad persons... Celia can't tell me what's bothering her... Nobody even seems to care about those strange wounds ans the only hint I have is...'
Indeed, there was the Letatras church.
Asaki still hadn't forgotten about this strange dream of his. Now, the problem was that he didn't know where it was.
But someone did... Someone whom he could ask the church's position. She was always saying "By the Gods." Instead of "By Fate.", and she was also had lost consciousness inside of the same church...
It was Celia.
She, and nobody else, could lead him to the church.
'But... How will we be able to get out without any suspicions from the twins ?'
And without even being aware of it... Asaki had just started to think for about two hours long.
°°°
The meal the four survivors shared long after Milas's return was utterly silent: Asaki was lost in his thoughts most of the time, Celia still seeming hesitantl and, Naelle, simply sang a joyful song which Milas was listening to.
After this silent meal, Milas went to his "bed" to rest a bit as Naelle started to talk to with the Aurora... Damn ! If she kept monopolising Celia all for herself, Asaki will never be able to realise his plan !
Yeah... He just needed her for the church, the rest didn't mattered... Naekle could talk as much as she wanted with the Aurora after he was done.
"Celia."
Finally ! After dozens seconds or hesitation, the young man had finally find the strength to call for Celia. And it worked ! WIthin a second, both of the girld stopped talking, now looking at Asaki with surprise and interrogation.
"Yeah ?"
Even if a warm and gentle smile was painted across her face, it was easy for him to guess that the angel also awaited for him to talk.
"I need to ask ask something but... In private. Can I borrow you Celia for some minutes, Naelle ?*
The blondie instantly nodded with joy, replying as she started to get up.
"For sure, we were just about to finish talking anyway !"
"Thanks."
Celia also got up, slowly walking to Asaki with an awkward smile. Once the woman had reached him, an embarassing silence filled the room during seconds, until the man talked.
"Let's walk a bit outside."
Celia nodded, also walking to the big and gray metallic metal door leading to the sewers. The cellar was in fact almost like a part of it, it was fully made out of rock and only filled by metallic shelves on its sides. Except for the metallic door, and smal rock stairs leading to the house's trapdoor, there was nothing much.
Once inside of the sewers, both walked silently during minutes until they reached one of the ladder leading to a sewer hole's cover. The metallic structure shook a lot when both started to climb on it, but luckily didn't fell, now granting to thr two survivors an access to the surface.
Obviously, both already avoided dying too many time to risk staying in the middle of a road while talking. So once they reached the surface, Celia and Asaki immediately went inside of the closest house, other than the cellar's one.
And soon, both were alone, facing each other without saying a word. On one side stood two burning suns, and on the other two sparking amethyst... Both never stopped gazing into eachother.
"You remember when you told me that you fainted inside of a Letatras Church ?"
Celia nodded, and immediately, Asaki continued. His voice was filled by nothing but neutrality, although he was actually kinda nervous. It wasn't everyday that he asked such a thing.
"Could you please take me to this church ? Around tomorrow in the morning."
