"My Mom was gonna die, she was at the point of death. I had no choice." He sighed.
Annie looked at him in disbelief.
"Why would your mother do that? Does she hate me that much?"
"I don't know." He exhaled, "She actually threatened me with her life once and she did that again today." He palmed his face.
"Well since she hates me, there's no need for us to be together then. We can never be a pair." She looked away.
"Annie you can't let my mother's threats influence your heart. I know you love me but you ain't ready to admit it." He came closer and held her hands.
"Annie please you have to support me. There's no way I'm marrying that lady. You know I wanna marry you."
