Third point of view.
Emily and Tyler had no way of getting out of this. Their parents knew one thing, they would do everything possible to stop their wedding and they were right! Emily has already started cooking up something to make Tyler and his mother reject her while Tyler is looking for every information possible on Emily. So, because of that, their parents printed the wedding invitations even before they told them.
Tyler was still having a shower when Oliver badged into his room with the news. From the look of things, the invitation was well crafted. The colors and designs were well chosen. He knew it was his mom who did this but confronting her would be a waste of time, she would say the same thing; "You are getting married and that is it." This was her sign, letting him know that he couldn't call off this wedding.
In no time, everyone got the news and all his friends started calling to congratulate him. if only they knew. However, the good news was the scandal was no more and all everyone could talk about was their upcoming wedding.
Meanwhile…
Emily was still asleep. She was so exhausted from everything that happened yesterday that she just wanted to sleep. She cleared her schedule and made sure that no more disturbs her. She had to figure out a good way to stop this wedding and she couldn't do that when she was tired and stressed.
She woke up her phone blowing up. everyone was calling her. She didn't know why and she couldn't care less at the moment. But when she saw so many congratulatory texts, she had to know what was going on. Amelia called and explained everything to her and to her surprise, sent her own invitation with hers and Tyler's name written on it. Their parents had already sent out their invites to their wedding on their behalf.
She was angry, obliviously. But she knew what this meant; there was no backing out of this. The whole world knows now that both of them are getting married and there is nothing they can do.
Emily looked at the card. It looked quite expensive. The colors, the designs, and the crafting. Their parents really spent enough money on this and how they pulled it off in under 24 hours was so amazing. They are influential after all.
She was having dinner with Tyler that evening. Her father picked out the place, apparently. She didn't even tell her where because he thinks she would cancel the reservation. They booked a private room in a secured restaurant. Her father thinks if he tells her the location, she will do something crazy so it is better to just have someone drive her there.
Emily came into the room and saw Tyler seated. He didn't even spare her a glance when he realized she was there. Emily didn't wait for him to pull out the chair for her or something, she just sat down. Yeah, their hatred runs that deep.
Tyler raised his hand to grab the attention of the waiters. They came with a sort of meal. Everything was paid for beforehand.
"You seem very comfortable about all this," Emily spoke.
"What do you expect me to do?"
"I don't know maybe not eat," Emily said- note the sarcasm.
Tyler chuckled. She is the reason he is in this mess and she dares to tell him what to do.
"Maybe you don't know but the invites for the wedding have already been printed out."
"So? Doesn't that mean will give up?"
"No, that just means we have to go through with this wedding," Tyler told her.
Emily banged her fist on the table and stood up. "I knew you were of no use."
Tyler stood up as well and screamed at her. "Well, last time I checked, you haven't done anything either."
There was a screaming match inside there. None of the waiters dared to enter. Everyone in Australia knows one thing, the city is ruled by the wolves and the humans know not to get close when the wolves are fighting. That is the first rule you need to know if you want to live in Australia. Werewolves are known for their strength and very bad temper. Whenever a fight breaks out, humans are usually collateral damage so those who don't want to end up dead stay away from anything about wolves.
After about an hour of both of them yelling at each other, things seemed to have calmed down in there.
"So, is this it?" Emily asked. "Because I assure you, I have no interest in being your wife."
Tyler rolled his eyes. "Me either. I will let you know you are very unlucky for me."
Emily didn't give a reply this time. She just rolled her eyes.
"Well, there is nothing we can do we have to go through with this wedding."
"But there is one thing I can think of," Tyler said after a moment of silence.
"Which is?"
"If we can convince my mother that you are not suitable to be my wife and Luna, maybe we can end the marriage on a good note."
''And how will I do that?" Emily asked. She looked like she could punch him if he said anything stupid.
"Do what you already do. I am sure she will hate you." Tyler said to her.
"Deal?" Tyler asked stretching out his hand for a handshake.
Emily was quite skeptical about Tyler's plan but she had no choice. He was right, there was no stopping this wedding-that was the whole point of printing the invites.
Tyler raised a brow when she was taking time. Her agreeing to this was the only chance he had. it was not only the fact that he didn't like her, he didn't want her as his Luna. To him, it is better to be a divorcee than to live with her for the rest of his life.
Emily gave a little smile and shook his already stretched-out hand. "Deal."
