'An angel! ' He practically screams in his head, a person with white wings and (handsome?) appearance, depicting a figure that looks similar to that of a girl rather than a guy.
'He has an Adam's apple! He is a man! He is also present in this room, making my conjecture true; besides, he just asked me a personal question, so he is the last roommate! 'He nods his head.
"Do not worry, I have already broken through." He answers calmly, trying to hide his shock from earlier. Meanwhile, he is actually looking forward to seeing a female angel; their man is already as beautiful as this, and their female is definitely much more beautiful.
"Oh, it's you transvestite; stop acting like a man when you look more like a girl." The lizard-tailed guy snorted. His race depicts only two genders, male and female; the latter holds the higher status; the female version of their race is actually stronger physically and has more abilities than their male counterparts.
Their female only chooses the strongest man to mate; because of this, most males of their kind are only able to mate with those of other races, but they have the innate desire to breed and impregnate; unfortunately, there are only a small number of races capable of conceiving their child.
The lizard-tailed guy is actually one of the males unable to be chosen because of his low potential; he takes his anger out on the angel because of the condescending attitude the latter has.
"Speaking to me with such an insolent tone, you should blow out some steam in the Red Moon." The eye of the lizard-tailed guy turns red; he roars and is about to attack when he feels a hand on his shoulder.
"Forget about him; I think that we should just talk with each other, seeing that you are the only one in the room that bothers to talk to me." He chuckles as he sits in his room.
Seeing the attitude of his other two roommates, he decided to forget befriending them; he should just talk to this person, as he feels that he and his predecessor truly have a deep sense of friendship with each other.
The lizard-tailed guy starts bragging about the academy after Leon asks him to introduce the academy to him. Seeing another fellow listen to his bragging without any annoyance at all makes him feel good.
Leon does not care about the other two or how much of a blabbermouth his new friend is; he is just happy that he is not a loner in this life.
"Why don't you shut up lizard mouth?" Roars the triclops, furious about the noise. His head is ringing about the nonsense the lizard guy is sprouting.
Leon frowns; he dislikes just how arrogant the triclops are, since from the start, he has been looking down on him.
Clenching his fist, he swears that once he grows stronger, he will teach this guy a lesson. For the angel, he does not care; he might be condescending, but he does not outright look down on him.
He wants to pick a fight against him, using his pets as an advantage, but upon recalling how strong his new friend is, he can only sigh inwardly. If his friend is already that much stronger than him, it means that the triclops are a lot stronger.
Not doing anything somewhat puts a bad taste in his mouth, so he decided to flash a middle finger to the triclops, stunning the three.
"Hey, what does this sign mean? Also, why do I feel that it is an extremely offensive sign?" The lizard guy asks with a strange expression.
Leon just chuckles. He whispers to him, "I will tell you what it meant at a later date."
The triclops frown. He had studied how humans act, but this is the first time he sees this type of sign language. There are multiple meanings in raising a finger, but not many of them are considered offensive.
He sorted coldly, no longer caring about Leon; for him, putting any more attention on such a weakling would only distract him.
"How about we take a stroll? Uhm, I still do not know your name." After talking for a while, Leon realises that he had forgotten to ask a very important question.
The lizard-tailed guy was speechless; he could only sigh. He raised his chest proudly and said, "Remember my name! Aranold of the Eastern Swamp Tribe!"
The triclops snort, "What is so great about a tribe that has their future relying on a single young lady?"
Aranold clenches his fist tightly. It seems that what the triclops had said strikes a nerve within him. The Aphraxian chuckles lightly. "In the entire five thousand participants they have, only five were eligible to actually enter the academy."
"Four of them had found their own allies and groups, but one of them only spends most of his time at the Red Moon." Aranold lowers his head in shame.
Actually, when he got here, he only wanted what was best for his tribe. He had been working hard at the start, but after he got to the Red Moon and tried it for the first time, he could no longer stop himself, as if something inside of him was beckoning him to go back over and over again.
[The reason for his behaviour is possibly because of his hidden bloodline; I do not have enough data to analyse it further, but through my calculations, this possibility is at least ninety percent.]
"Aranold, from what I have heard, you have a problem; how about studying this condition of yours? Who knows, we might have a fascinating discovery because of this." Hearing the notification, Leon quickly says this.
Aranold is confused, but he still agrees nonetheless; after all, only Leon sees it as some sort of strange condition and not just him being a pervert.
He might not show it, but this warms his heart. Finally, someone recognises that he has some sort of problem, not just downright looking down on him.
