Chapter 22 - CHAPTER 21 ACADEMY ll

"Where the hell are we going?" He cannot help but ask after travelling for more than three hours. Besides him, Elcio and Emily turn to him with a worried expression.

They realised that he truly has no memories regarding the academy; it seems that they need to protect him and, at the same time, teach him about the rules and unwritten agreements in the academy.

The Oriend Family might be one of the great clans on their planet, but compared to its existence, it is still lacking. The academy was created by one of the first genetic warriors in their world.

After hundreds of years of development, it is now accepted by other worlds and has established its influence throughout the entire galaxy, gathering countless talents.

Those who are considered geniuses to be nurtured would even have the chance to travel to other planets without any cost.

The academy has multiple branches scattered throughout their Starry Way Galaxy; the branch of their planet is actually considered just a middle grade amongst the hundreds of thousands of branches.

Finally, after suffering from total blindness from travelling in darkness, they arrived at a certain portal that glows in gentle and bright light.

"F*ck! No wonder even Eclipshea does not know the true location of the academy; it is actually in a separate dimension!" He mumbles out loud, seeing the fascinating gateway portal.

The people in the same vehicle as them turn to look at him with disdained expressions, like he is some sort of country bumpkin.

After their vehicle passes through the gateway portal, Leon's mouth opens widely. A vehicle capable of passing through a portal is too shocking for him.

"Master, we need to register you at the academy's entrance; we also need to inform your teacher about your condition in order to avoid any complications." Elcio quickly informs him, seeing that he is still in a daze.

Snapping out of his reverie, he nods at him. He does not know what to do, since it will only cause him some headaches overthinking about his current situation. He should just follow the advice of his trusted subordinates.

They entered a giant gate that seems to be designed for titans and not humans. He is actually not wrong in his assumption; the galaxy is vast, and other than humans, there are multiple races coexisting in one universe.

This situation is not only quite common in the Realm of the Thousand Worlds but also in every galaxy. There are ruling races, but they are unable to fully control the entire galaxy because of how vast they are.

"Welcome back, have you successfully completed the mission given to you?" asks the lady at the entrance. Hearing this, both Elcio and Emily start sweating. It seems that they have forgotten such important information due to Leon's past situation.

"Mission? What mission did I take?" The two nearly fainted when they heard him ask such an irresponsible question. They are now trembling, afraid of the punishment that will be given to their young master.

The lady raises her eyebrow. She cannot believe that a student has the gall to ask her such a question, but seeing the pure confusion in his eyes and the innocence in them, she knows that he is not trying to trick her.

"Your mission was to undergo a cleansing by breaking through your body tempering technique." Hearing this, Leon's eyes lit up, and he inwardly cheered for how lucky he was for taking such a mission.

Actually, he does not know that most students like him, who have just started their time in the academy, are given the same mission, because it is one of the most important requirements for genetic warriors.

"Yes, I have; how are you going to check it?" He politely answers; his question is actually something that he is curious about.

The lady finally realises that something is wrong with Leon; she activates some sort of ability and scans him, but after a while, she frowns.

"I do not sense something wrong from you." Hearing this, Elcio and Emily quickly realise that the lady has scanned their young master. They heaved a sigh of relief after hearing her words.

Emily steps forward and explains, "I apologise, Miss Farie; our young master has suffered from a great accident, and currently, his memories are now jumbled; in fact, if not for his personal robot warning him about his status, he would have been unaware of the existence of the academy."

Hearing this, the lady grabs Leon's face and looks directly at his eyes. She then asks him some simple questions regarding some topics in the academy, even including his life. Her eyes are glowing in a mysterious way throughout the question, or, more accurately, an interrogation.

"Yep, this is your young master; he really does not have any memories regarding the academy; he is also not one of the old ghosts that hunts for physical form; unfortunately, I have no idea for the main reason for his amnesia."

The two quickly smile awkwardly as they see their young master being scrutinised like an inanimate object. The teachers and staff of the academy have no respect for any so-called great clans.

For them, they are just a power on a backwater planet. That is why they just let her scan him from head to toe without complaining.

Meanwhile, the person who is undergoing this procedure is unaware of the actions of the lady; for him, he thinks that this is a standard procedure for the students.

"Can we enter now?" Seeing that the lady is no longer paying attention to them, he asks carefully. Seeing her nod, he heaves a sigh of relief and enters with his two guards.

Even though he accepted that her action was just a standard procedure, he still disliked being treated like an object.

"So, where are we going now?" After passing through the giant entrance, he asks his two guards the question that has been bugging him all of this time.

The two look at each other once again and smile bitterly. Elcio takes a deep breath and says, "I will escort you back to your dorm, young master; Emily has to go to her teacher."
