Chapter 3 - Identity I

In a patche of grass a boy with white rossy hair can be seen sitting in deep thought.

He appears to be thinking deeply about things an outsider if look, wouldn't understand.

It lasted for about 5 minutes for him to regulate his thoughts and get back to reality.

A sight escape from my mouth.

Of all place I could go, why does it have to be one with the world nearing it's end.

From the information I got from this body '' Asher Moon '', it seems this world is similar to the many novels I once read.

'' Asher Moon '' I said in a low tone

' What a weird name ' I thought. ' This type of naming sense with '' Moon '' as the surname is rarely seen in my country '

' Wait what was my name? ' , another thought crept into my mind.

Feeling of dread accumulates in my being as I struggled to remember my identity.

But gradually I remembered it, My name's Ryan Rin. A japanese-american hybrid. " man thought I might've lost my identity " I talk to myself, " but glad it didn't " .

As if everything were getting clear, memeroies of both identity starts to mix in together.

A replay of my life as '' Ryan '' and this body life as '' Asher '' came through me as if it were playing a show, dissolving one another.

It lasted for a minute, but for me it felt like I've lived both lives again, with Asher being my secondary.

After that, I began to analyze my situation. My thoughts of being sent into a novel was but a speculation then, but with the full memories I have access to now, It's no longer one.

I've indeed been sent into a novel world that'll be sent into chaos. ''Chaos'' might be an extreme wording choice but it's right to put it as such.

This world nearing the mid volumes will face many disasters, leading into the enventual death of many lifes inhabiting it.

More than 60%, if not half of the human population will be cut off from existence, making humans smaller than the meager amount of 1 billion they have now.

Why am I so sure that this world is the same as novel I'm in?

Well,.... It's because I'll soon attend an academy with same name. The world is also similar to the description from the novels, matching the memories I have of.

If such evidence is clear, then diluting myself to not believe it, will simply be me seeking fantasy again.

Such behavior is not my type.

Brushing off all the thoughts I currently have, I pick myself up and tried to walk.

According to the memories I now have. This is the outer garden of my new family's house.

This body that I now inhabit, was training in the outer region of the garden , which is near the woods, making it seem as he's in a forest.

Picking up the sword this body trained with, I thought of how he could die, but no idea came up.

So I simply dropped it off and began to walk back into my soon to be house.

It took around 20 min as I still struggled to push farward.

Arriving behind the inner garder, a fountain can be seen adorned with statues of flowers in its surrounding. Near it, I saw a modern house, one with a unique glass design, a contrast to the ancient monument and fountain outside.

Without much thought I walk into the house. There wasn't anyone home at the moment, so I simply went into my room.

While walking up, I took noticed of the way the stair were placed. It looks like marble floors stack in on top one another with circular direction as I had to walk in circles to get atop.

" So Asher, this is your room? " I pretended to ask my body, knowing fully that I'm asking myself. I was simply distracting myself from my yet to be reality.

A sight escape form my mouth again, this is probably the third time now...

I went into Asher's room. A small simple bed can be seen located at the corner of the room with a big window next to it. the wardrobe situate near the table filled with books, illustrating the aura of scholarly like.

The most noteworthy item here was a slim one edge sword hanging on the sword holder, displaying its sheer dominance in the room.
