thought Priya while sitting in the Hospital's praying area. Priya looks at the Lord Krishna's Statue and joins her hands to pray.
Priya doesn't wanna go back home where she can face Rubby. She can not go near her parent they will be worried and contact Rubby and she can't go to her friend's house as her Aunt Rubby will trace her and can bother her friend's family. She can't use her credit cards to get a room in a hotel. She feels like there is nowhere for her to go now. She can't believe that she is nothing without her title. She feels hopeless. A point where living her life does not feel like real. Her home is it even HER home she doubts.
Prathmesh saw Priya when he was passing and went to approach her.
Prathmesh: Hey, what are you doing here?
Priya turned and made eye contact with Prathmesh. Prathmesh felt like something was wrong as Priya's eyes were looking lifeless. He got worried and asked her what was the matter. Priya hesitated to tell him anything and said.
Priya: It's all fine. I'm... Fine!
Prathmesh became determined to know what was wrong with Priya. And Priya seems to not doing well keeping all the fuss inside her and starts to tell everything to him.
Prathmesh: That sounds like something complicated to me.
Priya: My whole life seems complicated to me.
Prathmesh: I...what about my place?
Priya: What?
Prathmesh: Of course only if you are comfortable with it. I mean I understand that it's not safe for young women to wander around for a place to stay and take a break from family. You can tell your friends that you are staying at my place for safety. And I got a guest room with an attached bathroom you can have it. And can stay for as long as you want or need. I don't mind.
Priya gave it a thought and said.
Priya: It's appreciable what you said but I don't want you to get involved in my family matters. I don't wanna bother you.
Prathmesh: It's fine. I don't mind really. I just wanna help you and if you don't like the idea of staying with me I can go to a friend's house.
Priya: No, it's not that I'm uncomfortable with you I am just not sure...
Prathmesh: Have your time I will wait for you in the parking lot in the evening. I will be in my car so... Text or call me.
Priya: Okay. Thanks.
Priya went straight to the ER Department and started to see patients and assisted in surgeries. She was in the changing room as her shift was over. She saw everyone coming into the changing room and getting ready to go home. Priya got changed too and got her bag. She went to reception.
Priya: I will go home today so if I'm needed feel free to call me.
Priya slowly walked towards the parking lot and texted Prathmesh to take her too. Prathmesh came to Priya and took her to his car. Priya sat in the passenger seat and turned off her phone. Priya leaned her head on the window and fell asleep. When Priya woke up they were already in Prathmesh's apartment parking lot.
Priya: We reached? When?
Prathmesh: Yeah, a while ago already.
Priya: Oh! Why didn't you wake me up?
Prathmesh gave Priya a gentle smile tilled his head and said politely.
Prathmesh: You looked a lot of relief while sleeping so I did not feel right to wake you.
Priya: Oh... I see.
Prathmesh: Shall we go inside?
Priya: Yeah sure.
Priya and Prathmesh went inside. Prathmesh showed Priya her room to stay.
Prathmesh: If you wanna bathe you can have my clothes.
Priya: Hahaha we are not in a novel. I have spare clothes for now.
Prathmesh blushed.
Prathmesh: I-I. Okay. I will go and take a bath too and let's have dinner after it.
Priya: Okay.
Prathmesh went to his room.
Prathmesh: Ahh~ what on the earth am I doing? I was dumbfounded back then. How can I act like a cool person? Sigh* I will think of impressing her later but first will take a bath.
Prathmesh took a shower and came out of his bathroom while only in a towel. He settled on the sofa and fell asleep. Priya was done bathing and realized her menstruation started and she did not have any sanitary pads. So she went to Prathmesh's room to ask him to get her pads but when she knocked on his room door he didn't answer so Priya entered to check if he was in the room. When Priya saw that Prathmesh was not wearing clothes she turned her face and said.
Priya: Oops I'm so sorry I didn't mean it. I knocked on the door but you did not answer.
Prathmesh was asleep so he didn't say anything. Priya piqued on him to know why he was not answering. She found Prathmesh sound asleep. And went near him.
Priya: Are you like that person who likes to sleep naked? Weirdo.
Priya smells something good.
Priya:His hair is still wet he can catch a cold. Sleeping like a big baby, are you tired? Sniff* What is this fragrance? Smells good? Is it his shampoo?
Priya leaned on Prathmesh to sniff his hair and when Prathmesh suddenly woke up. And Prathmesh suddenly stood after watching her so close to him. Both's face turned red. Priya looked away from Prathmesh.
Priya: I-I was only sniffing your shampoo it's refreshing that's it.
Prathmesh: Oh! Okay, thanks.
Both remained silent for a while.
Prathmesh: Do you need something? You came into my room.
Priya: Do I need something? Yeah! Pads, sorry but can you please bring me pads?
Prathmesh: Oh, okay sure. I will go right now.
Priya: WAIT!!!
Prathmesh: What do you need anything else too?
Priya: Don't you think you are wearing very less clothes to go out?
Prathmesh realized he was almost wearing nothing.
Prathmesh: Ah...please excuse me.
Prathmesh went to a nearby convenience store after wearing his clothes. But now he was confused about which brand of pads Priya used and called her. She told her the brand name and also asked for to bring wet wipes.
Prathmesh got the pad and wet wipes. But while purchasing them he thought he should get painkillers, energy bars, dark chocolates, a hot water pack and a toothbrush for her.
The ladies in the store were amazed by seeing what Prathmesh was purchasing.
When Prathmesh did the billing the Store receptionist women smiled at him and said.
"Your wife is Lucky that you are her husband. So caring."
Prathmesh: We are not married!!!...not yet.
Prathmesh came back home. Priya was surprised by all the stuff he brought.
Priya: Whoa, all for me?
Prathmesh: I just wanted you to feel comfortable and like home.
Priya: You are already doing a lot.
Prathmesh: I would love to do even more.
Priya: Hahaha. Ok then cook something light and good for me.
Prathmesh: Yes, Ma'am.
Prathmesh looked at Priya's clothes and said.
Prathmesh: Let's go shopping tomorrow. It's weekend.
Priya: Why?
Prathmesh: Ah... For groceries.
Priya: Umm ok.
