*woosh *woosh the sound of air.
"Sound of Air? And why do I feel like it getting cold all of a sudden?" asked Priya while mumbling
Priya opened her eyes and was surprised to find that she was standing on top of a very tall building.
"What is going on? Where I'm and why I'm here? It's so high I can't see any other buildings' rooftop top. I don't have amnesia or do...I have. It's just a dream it must be." said Priya while trying to keep herself calm.
"How are you not sure of your own words?" a voice of a young teenage girl Priya heard out of the blue.
"Have I gone Insane finally? Where is the sound coming from?" Said Priya and started to look for the person behind the voice. Priya noticed a young girl standing on the edge of the building top. She started to slowly move towards that girl.
"You! Are you even not sure of your actions?"
Again said that Girl.
"What do you mean? And how am I able to listen to your voice so clearly when you are so far?" Asked Priya while moving towards the Girl.
"You are moving towards the edge of a building top when you are scared of height. Don't try to act like you are not scared." Said the girl.
"Th-That's none of your business you little! Why are you even standing there are you too brave?" Replied Priya in an annoyed tone.
"I'm scared!" Said the girl.
Priya suddenly stopped and froze when she heard "I'm scared!"
"I'm not brave. I'm really not. I'm scared." said the girl and sounded like she was scared at that moment.
"It's Okay, Kiddo come to me. Try to come to my side get away from the edge." Priya tried to convince the girl.
"I can't move. I can't feel my legs. I'm scared." Cried the girl.
"It's fine then I will come to rescue you try to keep your balance." Said Priya and again started to move towards the girl.
"You will Protect me?" asked the girl from Priya.
"Yes, I will. Just a few more steps." Said Priya and moved her hands towards the girl.
"I can't even move my hands." said the girl.
*wooshhh it's started to get windy and colder.
"I will hold you then." Said Priya and held the girl by her arms.
"You said you would protect me but you can't even protect yourself." said the girl and vanished in the thin air.
"What?! Where did she go she was just here." Asked surprised and worried Priya.
"YOU ARE WEAK!!!" a scream Priya heard and felt a push on her back and fall from the building's top.
Priya opened her eyes and found that she had fallen from her bed. She was in cold sweat.
"What kind of dream was that? A nightmare was it?" mumbled Priya.
Priya got up from the cold floor and checked the time it was 05:14 a.m. Still early. So she lay on the bed and covered herself in the blanket.
"It's comfortable more here, Am I weak? If I can't protect myself how can I protect others? She got points for her talk. But who was she and her face I can't remember what she looked like also I did not recognize her either in the dream." mumbled Priya
Priya did a bit of exercise as she found it hard to fall asleep again. When she went out of her room she saw Prathmesh had already begun to make breakfast Priya went closer to him.
Priya: Do I help?
Prathmesh: Oh you are awake? Good morning. And I can manage you go to take a shower.
Priya: Okay.
Priya got ready and had breakfast. She was quiet while eating and also didn't say much on the way to Hospital. Prathmesh felt something was odd.
Prathmesh: We will reach the Hospital in a few minutes.
Priya: Okay.
Prathmesh: Are you fine?
Priya: Yes, I'm why asked?
Prathmesh: You are not acting like yourself.
"I forgot I was not at my place and became quiet. He must think it's not how I am." thought Priya.
Priya: I didn't sleep enough that's why I'm sorry.
Prathmesh: Nothing to be sorry but why were you not able to sleep was there a problem?
Priya: My hair kept poking me. Ha ha ha. Silly of me I should have tied them.
Prathmesh: Oh I see.
Priya: Yeah.
Priya clenched her seatbelt. Her vision was blurred and there was a feeling in her chest which seemed to be getting heavier.
"I should take some drugs to calm my nerves I... should do something. I want to do something NO!!! I need to do something. I should get away from his place first I'm being too much." thought Priya.
Prathmesh: What do you want to have for dinner?
"Piece of mind," mumbled Priya.
Prathmesh: Pardon me?
Priya came to her senses.
Priya: What? What is it?
Prathmesh: You mumbled softly so I could not understand it so please repeat what was your answer?
Priya: What was your question again?
Prathmesh: I... Asked if you wanted something for dinner like your wish.
Priya: I can't have dinner with you today as I am working till late at night so will probably spend the night at the hospital today Sorry.
Prathmesh: It's fine I can...understand so it's fine but make sure to have dinner and take care.
Priya: Yeah sure. Thanks for your concern.
Prathmesh: Friends do so.
After finishing the conversation Prathmesh and Priya reached Hospital. Priya started to work in the Emergency Department and finally got a 30-minute break in the Afternoon for lunch. Arihant and Priya came out of the operation room together after serving.
Arihant: Go and have a nice lunch break you continuously worked straight after reaching to hospital in the morning.
Priya: It's fine, I'm fine.
Arihant: You are still too young so it's fine. You can work hard later too. Don't miss your youth kid.
Priya: Yes, sure. Excuse me, please.
But Priya did not have any appetite so she skipped to eat anything and took a walk around the Hospital garden. Priya was standing and staring at the Sky.
"Am I going to die soon? What kind of mind state I'm having right now?" thought Priya.
Priya took a look at patients in the garden.
Some were in a group and were chatting and looked like they were having a good time. There were kid patients who were playing together and also were playing with the nurses in charge.
"It's not a good day to be depressed but is there even a day for being depressed?" thought Priya.
"Heyy!!! Come back." screaming voice of Sneha.
Priya looked for that from where Sneha was screaming and for whom. She saw on her Left a kid running towards her and Sneha was at his back. The kid was about to pass beside Priya but she held the Kid's hand and made him stop. The kid started to breathe heavily and was having a hard time Priya rubbed his back.
Priya: Listen to me what I'm saying clearly.
Put one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach.
The boy started to do as Priya said.
Priya: Very good. Now close your eyes to help you relax and focus on your breathing. Slowly breathe in through your nose, with your mouth closed. ... Breathe out through your nose. ...Try to use as little effort as possible and make your breaths slow, relaxed and smooth.
The boy was able to breathe comfortably again. Priya realized it was Same. Sneha saw everything.
Priya: Fine now?
Same: Yes. ... Thank you.
Sneha: You are not in the right condition to run like this. Try to understand.
Same: I. ... Sorry but I don't want to go inside I don't like it here. I want to go home and want to play with my little sisters. Let me go.
Sneha: You will have an operation after a week until then you need to keep in observation. Everything will be fine.
Same: I know I'm about to die!!! So quit the act and let me go near my sisters for this meantime I got before death. I beg you.
Sneha and Priya were startled by what they just heard.
Priya: I will stay with him so you go back I will bring him back to you later.
Sneha: What?
Priya: It's fine.
Sneha: Okay.
