Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Hey Gold, what are you all talking about?"

"Nothing, Purple! Just stay silent." Gold snapped at her.

"Oh,"

After some time, when everyone thought Purple would stop asking…

"Hey Red, what's down there?"

"Agh! There she is again. Nothing, Purple! Sit properly. " Red calmly asked of her.

"Oh," Purple sighed, keeping her head down.

Hours passed, and the Little Purple tried to ask and ask, and ask, but no one would answer her.

"Hey…"Purple tried to ask again but Blue had enough of her and shut her up with one look.

"Quiet Purple!" Blue stopped her immediately.

So, the Little Purple just twisted and turned and peeked from time to time, trying to see what her fellows were up to.

She would laugh, which irritated others, but she was only doing it to amuse herself and prevent herself from leaving her chair, not even to stand up.

She could only stand up when it was time to Descend.

But as time passed by, Little Purple learned to sneak out while the others were busy.

She would hide and watch over the Soul Village, which she finally discovered after some time, and her favorite place was the Prayer Temple. She would blend in with the Prayer Angels and enjoy listening to prayers.

The Little Purple would then go back to her seat when they were about to Descend and would giggle silently because no one was able to notice her absence.

And when everyone was preparing for the Descend, she would stay behind for a little bit.

"Hm, Our Divine Creator, it's me, Purple. Sorry for sneaking out. But I swear I see to it not to break rules, though I did break a rule. I blend in very well. I do not know if you can hear me. You are so far away. I sat on the last chair, and no one would tell me what all of you were talking about, but they said you are the most powerful, caring, and loving, so, I wanted to ask for a favor. I heard a prayer; this human needed it badly. Please answer her prayer. Thank you. "

"PURPLE!" A voice interrupted her prayer, her eyes widened in fear.

"Oh no, Blue! I must go. Goodbye! By the way, the Earth is so beautiful. "

Several years after humans settled on Earth, it was said that every night when everyone was asleep, there were seven greater beings sent down to bless miracles.

They were responsible for replenishing nature's supply, which was consumed by humans all day to sustain life.

Each was assigned a specific task, such as replacing fish in rivers and seas, growing new trees and plants, hatching eggs of either flying or flightless birds, bringing more land animals to life, purifying air and waters to preserve human health, healing pains, and reviving strength after a long day, and finally, blessing every human with good dreams to remind them to pray and thank the Creator for their lives.

They had to do it fast before dawn. Their existence couldn't be known to any men.

" The sun is almost up. Is everyone finished?" the leader asked while standing under the great tree of life, where everyone was expected to return after finishing their tasks.

One by one, they appeared with assurance that everything was done with satisfaction.

"Great! Prepare for Return. The Guardians, Keepers, and Consorts, are coming." The leader informed the other six.

Wings of distinct colors spread out from their backs. A varying spectrum of lights illuminated and surrounded each greater being, and in a second, they went up like a flash of powerful force.

They traveled above, higher than the clouds, and passed through the vast emptiness of the galaxies. Beyond the universe and even farther than humans could imagine.

" We are here." The leader announced.

The seven greater beings began to transubstantiate into bigger forms; their appearance turned more translucent, illuminating a blinding light, and their wings grew even larger.

A huge, towering golden gate opened to welcome their return. They entered a beautiful paradise, where songs of praise accompanied by harps and flutes filled the entirety of the absolute Village of Souls. Laughter from happy souls and angels could be heard everywhere.

They flew towards the middle, where gigantic gold-silvery chairs were found next to the majestic Creator's throne.

There were no souls nor angels of any kind who could see their real attributes because their heights were enormous, but nothing more than the Creator. They were blessed with such strong features, capabilities, and knowledge. They were the Angels of the Angels.

"The Seven Paragons have returned." The two High Sentries announced at the boundary where two giant columns stand to support the Holy Throne. There, they used to stop and praise the Creator before sitting on their respective chairs.

The Chief Paragon reported everything and sat on their chairs to watch over the humans afterward.

"Where's Purple?" The leader of the paragons asked.

The others just smirked.

"Hey Blue, what's new?" the paragon next to Blue answered.

"White, you know that our identity is forbidden."

"Let her be, Blue." The Red Paragon interrupted.

The identity of Purple Paragon remained a puzzle among the six paragons for a very long time. The six of them resembled a man form, but Purple wasn't any closer like them, so they decided to call Purple her.

At the Soul Village, children were happy listening to a strange Purple Angel who loved to tell stories. After telling stories, the Purple Angel would play with the children and laugh all day with them. The angel would also play the harp and flute while the children sang along.

" You hear that? That's Purple's miracle. Let's all just accept that Purple will always be a running mess. She is different, but she is full of wonders. Come on, she tames Blue. She makes everything light. "

"Stop with your blabbering, Red," the Blue Paragon said. "There is no room for another purple mistake."

"Night is coming. She'd probably be late again. I heard she spent her time before heading back here with the Prayer Angels. I couldn't understand why she would spend time listening to prayers and would speak to the Creator even though she clearly knows that only Blue has the honor to speak to Him. She'd do that for a long time, without getting an answer." Silver Paragon said while laughing.

"Let's all get ready. She'll be there before we know it. " Jade Paragon said, as he stood from his chair.

They bowed to give praise before heading to the gates.

" Call Pur..." The Blue Paragon said, but he was not able to continue when they heard the most familiar giggle.

" Present!" The Purple Paragon naughtily said.
