The sky was painted with shades of yellow. In the coldness of dawn, playing with her dagger Tiara asked, "What are we doing, Mommy?"
Fiona had her arms crossed beneath her huge bosom, making them more accentuated. Darius struggled to keep his eyes from staring at them.
"I am going to train Darius today." Informed Fiona.
"Really?!" Tiara excitedly jumped, "I'll teach him how to use a bow!"
Tiara remembered her training with her Mommy. It was so much fun learning from her. She learned to use the bow, the dagger and a little bit of unarmed combat. She also learned many things while going on hunts and fighting monsters in the forest. A great amount of excitement brew within her as she had a chance to teach all her learnings to Darius. Her first friend.
"Tsk tsk, you are not teaching him anything, dear. You will make the meal today." Fiona doused her excitement.
"What?! No! I want to help him train~" Disappointedly, she expressed her wish.
"No, go do some other work while I train him." Fiona knew that Tiara was going to act like this, although prepared but she still felt slightly annoyed.
"Please~" she pouted, attempting to manipulate her into agreeing.
"I said, you will make the meals." Fiona's smile grew colder, her foot rising up and her hand reaching for the slipper, "Do you understand?"
"O-Okay. I'll go make breakfast." Tiara quickly made herself scarce. Avoiding further argument, unless she wanted to catch a flying slipper with her face.
"Now that's out of the way. We will start training now." Fiona turned to him, noticing his eyes on her breasts.
As he was admiring the sight, imagining their softness and feel in his hand, he heard a call, "...Darius!"
"Yes!?" He snapped out.
"Are you listening?"
"Yes, I am." He saluted.
"Good." Fiona nodded, "You will start with basic strength exercises to warm up."
"Are you planning for me to go bald?" A certain superhero popped up in his mind.
"What?"
"Nothing. What do you want me to do?"
"Firstly, pick up that log." She pointed at a log which was taller than him and seemed as thick as Fiona's thighs.
Too bad, when he touched it didn't seem to be as soft.
He bent down, his fingers beneath the one end of the log, with all his strength he barely lifted it on one end. He put his shoulder on it keeping it standing. He already began to pant a little, "Now what?"
"Pick it up properly." She reiterated. He lifted it on his right shoulder.
"Follow me." She commanded and began jogging out of the main entrance.
The weight was at least 50kg. He felt his legs tremble under the weight. Sluggishly, he trudged out of the entrance where he saw Fiona jogging in one place.
"Come on, fast." She went ahead.
"I hope my legs won't break." He followed trying to jog.
.....
Darius lay on the ground, gulping air like water. This woman was like a drill sergeant, maybe even worse. On his first day, she made him run around the village five times. It was at least, 20 kilometres.
'Basic strength excercises, she says. How is this basic!!?' He complained mentally, for he had no strength to complain physically.
Moreover, every time he halted midrun for rest she would begin a countdown to 10 with the condition that if he did not start running soon he would have to run an additional lap.
She might be worse than drill sergeant.
"Enough rest, get up!" She towered over him blocking the noon sun. As much as he simped over her, he would not deny that she looked demonic at that moment.
'Fuck me...' He cursed.
"Nnngh... Nnnngh..." He panted, "Nnnnnnngh... I can't stand up... My legs don't work anymore."
He strained his muscles, his limbs flopped back onto the ground as soon as they lift off the ground. His shoulder and back was hurting from carrying that log. His legs numbed, not responding to his commands.
Fiona saw his struggle, understanding that he would not be able move anymore. However, she did not expect such exhaustion from the warm up exercise. It was the same training she did, under the tutelage of a retired soldier then hunter. She was not as tired as him when she did it...
A sudden realisation dawned, 'He is too weak!'
She forgot such an important thing because of his performance in fighting those Goblins. He was weak as fuck. There was no chance that he could do the same amount of training as her. She was supposed to start him small then build up from there. Her mistake would have caused him to die.
"Here, get up." Darius saw Fiona's beauteous smile behind the extended hand, he strugglingly grabbed it and she pulled up on his feet. His arm around her nape, assisting him to walk, "I'm sorry, Darius--"
"No, no it's--"
"I forgot that you are too weak." Fiona apologised.
He froze, feeling something shatter inside him, something that was inherent in most men. Maybe, he heard her wrong...
"I should have kept your weakness in mind while devising this training regime. But don't worry, I'll redesign it to suit your weak physique." Brightly, she smiled unaware of the pain she caused.
Darius' attempt to collect the shattered pieces of his pride, was mercilessly crushed. Her bright smile did nothing to soothe him, instead it seemed to stab his poor heart incessantly. He turned his head at the sky, not allowing the brewing lone tear to escape. He already lost his pride, he denied to lose that tear also, especially in front of Fiona.
"Hahaha... Don't worry... Haha..." He hid behind that laugh.
For the span of lunch, he uttered not a word. And at the command of Fiona, he rested for the rest of the day.
