"Grrrrrrrrrr "
The demon made a low growl seeing itself tied up in chains, steams were coming out of its nostrils, obviously filled with ire. Now, it sees numerous creatures of golems and astral beings standing side by side with its two challengers.
"GRRRRRRRR!!!".
It roared ferociously into the air, bulged it muscles and forcefully yanked its chain restraints, breaking them off. It took its dark, red glowing sword and moved towards the its challengers.
"What are you waiting for, stop him!". Detto said to the spirit he summoned.
In their hundreds, the spirits all swarmed the demon, but the demon would care less of their numbers. It took on its sword and made a vertical slash, visible red aura of energy cuts through the air, taking with it a lot of spirits that got in it way.
Despite the fact that the spirits have advantage in numbers, they were obviously overpowered by the demon, even with their elemental abilities. The astral creatures, with the ability to manipulate the winds, were sending strong wind pressure to the demon, as well as wind with sharp blade like edges.
The golems, with the ability to manipulate earth were either battling the demon blow for blow, or using the earth to reduce it range of movement.
These attacks would have worked quite well but the demon is very angry, so angry that it seems to have entered a form of berserk state. Visible red fumes of flames enveloped it entire body, it roared at the top of it voice, disorienting any nearby creature.
The demon seemed to have had enough of staying on the ground, it flapped it wings and flew up to the air. Still holding its sword, it made numerous slashes, taking away any spirit in it way.
"Detto! The spirits, they are losing, what are we going to do!". Iode shouted, holding Dettomolian by his collar, shaking him back and forth.
"Would you stop shaking me, kid, doing this wouldn't solve our problem". Detto said.
Iode stopped shaking Detto and kept his hands by him, but he was worried, it was written all over his face.
*Maybe I'll have to summon stronger spirits, I never knew the demon would be this strong". Detto said.
"Say Detto, those spirits that died, are they dead for good?". Iode asked.
"No, whenever a spirit is injured or killed in our world, they go back to their own world, which is a plane entirely different from ours ". Detto replied.
Iode knows that there are different worlds, he already knew about the Celestial realm, the underworld, as well as the mortals realms, which is where he lives, but he never knew that spirits also have their own separate world.
"If you wouldn't mind, i would like to summon more spirits ". Detto said.
"Summon more? You want to go to another trance and leave me here all alone, argh, you are a really great help ". Iode couldn't hide his dissatisfaction.
"Summo... Wait, why didn't i think of this before, there's is someone that i can call that would help us ".
"And who might that be?". Detto asked.
Iode smiled and replied "Tony"
Tony is a dragon whose specie is called Dragone. He met Iode during the assessment examination, where they first had a little scuffle and he let Iode win. After a reunion, Tony explained to Iode who he is and also gave him a seal to summon him when need be.
It seems now is the perfect time he needs Tony for help. According to what he was told, he was to think of Tony when he is needed and he would come.
"Tony? Who is that". Detto asked.
"You will soon see". Iode replied.
Iode closed his eyes and thought of a visual imagination of Tony the dragon, how he looked like, how they met. Soon, from his chest, a purple light shimmered underneath his clothes.
The light from his chest shined and made a projection to the ground where it grew larger. The light projection on the ground was that of a dragon in the shape of a Dragone's head, purple in colour, it starts to glow ever brightly.
Seconds pass, and light from the glowing projection erupts, reaching far high. Soon the light dimmed and a medium sized creature appeared from where the light once shined.
Detto was perplexed by the sight before him, he as only heard of it in legends, dragons giving seals to people. This can only happen either to repay kindness done for them or they sense pureness of heart within the person. Well, Iode is the former, but Detto doesn't know that.
The dragon before them is a Dragone , which have a purple colored body with black patches at the head that ran through it back and to the tail.
It wings are blue in color and have a large head crest. Their lower jaw is longer than the upper jaw. Being that it arms are joined with the wings, it crouched and stood before them.
"Uh, where am I?". Tony said.
"I summoned you here Tony ". Iode said.
"Iode? Long time no see... What trouble are you in, you've never summoned me before ". He said.
"Well, that is why i summoned you ". Iode points to the flying demon, massacring the spirits.
Tony furrowed his eyes and voiced out a soft growl
"Demons, it's been a while since I've last seen them ".
