At the location of the light incident:
In a tent, an officer was currently reporting the results of the strict search carried out by the majority of the police to his superior officer. The superior officer, the same one who ordered Bittu's capture, was named Akira Yamamoto.
"Sir, we have not found anything suspicious. The area is clean," said the officer in a respectful voice.
"...Have you checked underwater?" said Akira in a stressed voice.
"Yes, sir. The divers have checked underwater too. Not only that, we have not found anything in the sewers as well," said the officer in the same respectful voice. Just as he was about to continue, a female officer came in, whispered something in the ears of the officer, and then went outside.
The officer then continued, "Sir, we have just discovered a bicycle abandoned in the sewers about two kilometers from the source of light," said the officer in a slightly excited voice.
*Ringing*
"Good, immediately start the investigation of that bicycle," said Akira while looking at his phone to check who has just called him. He was vexed to once again see that this was a call from another bigshot of the city. In the span of half an hour of the incident, he had received at least about ten calls from these people, and he can swear that he would rather decline the call, but he couldn't, so, accepting his fate, he answered the call.
"... Have you found... the cause?" said an old voice from the other side of the call.
"Not yet. I will provide you with an answer the moment I discover it. So, if you could let me focus on my work, old man," said Akira in a annoyed and a slightly warning tone as he awaited the reply from the person from the other side of the call.
"... Akira, very well... I just hope you would be... quick, as you know... as well as I do that this... is not something ordinary," said the old man in his old voice, which seemed to hint at something that they would rather not even talk about.
"I know. So, let me do my job," Akira said in a determined voice as he cut the call and leaned on his chair, thinking, 'whatever this was, just don't let it be that thing.'

At Nevsky Prospekt :

Bittu was currently running away from his assailants while sooting his sixth bullet their way. He was not the only one firing, they have also shot some bullet his way but he was safe till now due to his cautiousness and cleverness.
Just as Bittu turned to the next coner of the alleyway. He noticed that their was an abandoned unfinished house in formt of him. Looking at the house Bittu got a brilliant but risky idea. This would definitely be able to deal with the assailants that were just behind him. But, if he failed he wouldn't be able to live.
Looking at the nine bullets left in his pistol, Bittu decided to do the gamble. He rushed into the house.
Nestled within the secluded alleyway, the unfinished abandoned house stands as a skeletal structure, its skeletal frame exposed to the elements. Broken windows gape like vacant eyes, and decaying wooden beams offer an uneven terrain for cover. The echoes of emptiness within its walls make it an eerie battleground, where shadows dance with each gunshot, creating a ghostly symphony of forgotten echoes.
Meanwhile, Marco, Laila and the others arrived before the house. Rex was at the back with a bandaged hand. This was the reason the group had not taken initiative of the attack and just kept on following him, till now. But, they were going to attack now as they were confident that this time their target won't be able to escape.
They after planing for a while decided to encircle the house and go into the house from six ways. In this way, the rat wouldn't have a chance to escape while they find him.
After deciding they immediately rushed into the house as planned.
Just after Bittu went inside, Bittu after getting inside first, started to search for anything that could help him with combat with them. After searching for a while, he didn't find any thing. To make escape easier he stood next to the electric line of the house. Bittu was getting a little anxious when suddenly he remembered a message from the system.
[ You have killed a human. You are the first person to kill a human. You have been rewarded with one platinum coin. ]
Bittu ignored the first two messages and just read the third one. After, he did that he decided to ask the system a question.
'Nexus'
He didn't get a reply, as he hoped to talk quietly in his mind sk as not to give his location away. He tried once again;
'Nexus, what's the use of the platinum coin? ' asked Bittu with a hint of desperation and hope in his voice.

As Bittu heard what the system said, a smile found it's way in his face. He immediately opened his status. While opening his status he heard some noises. 'Looks like they are already in, I need to hurry.'

After looking at his status, he couldn't decide as to which one he should increase. As seconds passed, he heard the noises close down on him. Not having time to think this further, he decided to increase his perception stat as he remembered that it helped him familiarize himself with the gun.

Bittu choose Perception hastily as he had to prepare to engage as he heard the noise very close to him. While choosing though his eyes were attracted by the star "Spirit : Locked". He couldn't understand why but he felt that this stat was observing him right now, which baffled hus as to how could that be. He shrugged it off and focused on the current situation.

The moment the stat increased, Bittu felt something that he didn't know he was capable of feeling being a human. He felt that time has slowed down for a second. He felt air moving past his skin more clearly, he could hear the noise coming close to him more clearly and he could see jn the shadows more vividly.
It was as if his preventive prowess surged, akin to unlocking a latent potential. The subtle but discernible shift resonated through heightened awareness, refined strategic thinking, and an expanded repertoire of tools at his disposal.
Bittu didn't enjoy this feeling but immediately fired at the electric meter and damaged it, resulting in the light of the house going down. Bittu jumped the moment he shot the meter nad rushed away from that place. Whith his new and enhanced perception he could move more easily and naturally in the dark.
All the assailants were in the house were alert the moment the sound of the bullet came and more so when the light was cut off. Everyone tensed even more. In the darkness of the night, when the light of the moon couldn't invade the house due to it being in a corner and now that the light was gone too. It made it very hard for everyone to be as confident as before, ever one became alert to their max.
Linda, who was near the place Bittu was at immediately tensed listening to the bullet and pointed her pistol in that direction. In the darkness she couldn't see more than fifty centimeters.
She approached the area cautiously ready to shoot at a moments notice. Bittu was currently behind a pillar looking at that particular location. He was sure that whoever was near him would come to that area. And he was right a moment later he could see a woman coming close to that area. Seeing a woman didn't invoke any mercy in Bittu.
Bittu while held the gun felt as if he would not miss his target at all. It was a new feeling to him as he hasn't felt like that; ever.
Bittu didn't hesitate and pointed the gun at the woman heart, targeting it. He still wasn't sure about his aim so to be safe he targeted a large area so even if it misses the target would get fatally wounded.
*Bang*
The result was as Bittu felt, the bullet stuck at the heart of the woman.
Linda was shocked when she heard the sound of the gun shot and even more so when she felt something invade her body. She nerver thought that she would die in some stupid game while being held like a prisoner. She was a player.
Bittu oblivious to the fact, rushed towards Linda and took her pistol while trying to ignore the bloodied body. After taking the gun he changed his location and hid such that he could have a look at anyone that may try to come inside.
Meanwhile, all the others were shocked when the second bullet came from Linda's direction. Rex that was closet to her place ran to check what happened. Being cautious, he didn't enter the room by the door but went towards the broken window and peek inside.
Not being able to see any thing at all due to the darkness. He climbed and jumped inside the room by the window. Alas, that was a grave mistake as Bittu who was hidden inside the room saw him the moment he took a peak.
*Bang*
This time Rex was not so lucky and got shot in his heart. He died.
This gunshot made the others start to feel fear since this shot was made, it indicated that the one to die was not the target of the mission but their comrade.
Marco that was approaching the area the sound came from decided to not do so, and return but just as he turn to escape the place he found Tom coming towards him.
Now, that Tom was also here, Marco knew he couldn't escape as that would mean he wouldn't be able to work with the boss again as boss don't takes cowards. He could only continue on his way towards Bittu. Nodding at Tom, Rex turned around and started to move in Bittu's direction with Tom following after him.
After a moment they arrived in front of the door that seperated them and Bittu. Tom gestured to Marco to kick the door and rush inside together. They did as planned and kicked off the door and rushed inside. Bittu not expecting two of them to rush in didn't fire immediately. He watched as both of them pointes their gun towards all direction with their backs held together. Bittu took out pointed his gun their was waited for the right moment.
Marco and Tom not finding anyone in the room stopped moving and put their guard down a little which was actually a trap to lure the target but Bittu being cautious as he was didn't fire them at the moment because he felt this was not the right time. He didn't know that this was all a trap.
After a while, Toms gaze noticed Rex's body. He gestured to Marco to come with him to that location. After checking Rex wound, Tom said, " Looks like he has gone to one of the other–" But before he could continue;
*Bang* *Bang*
Bittu fired the moment he noticed Marco become a little distracted by Toms voice. Before Tom could react the bullet shot him in his heart. He died.
Marco being too cunning was still faking it. The moment he heard the sound of the gun, he moved from his original place but alas, fate was not good to him and he was still a second late and the bullet managed to penetrate his left arm.
Marco cried out as the bullet penetrated his hand. He spined once and then fell to the ground.
He thought that the aim of their target wasn't that good, when he remembered how Bittu couldn't kill Rex in the first shot so, he was taking risk based on this speculation but seeing Bittu's aim just now he regrate his action as he heard the sound of the gun once again.
*Bang*
The bullet penetrated his heart. He died.
Bittu expected himself to miss from the start as he was a newbie in shooting. So, he wasn't shocked when he missed and just shot again. He didn't know why his aim was good, he could only give creadit to the perception stat, as that was the only thing new in him.
Mike was loyal to his boss so, he didn't escape the area even though the sound of gunshot continued. He just increased his pace to the location the sound originated from.
Qu Shu was a lot more afraid compared to Mike, he didn't know how Bittu who was such a brilliant musician could also be a vicious killer. He joined the mission because of how easy it looked to kill Bittu with his police tranning and more so with his godly skill. So je requested to join the team but, now he regret it and deeply so.
Still, having faith in his skill he didn't run away as he knew the consequences of doing so. He moved towards Bittu'a location while keeping his skill active at a time. After a while, he heard something from his right and moved towards that direction.
Their he found Mike that was also closing in to Bittu's location. Mike nodded at Qi Shu and continued on his. Qu Shu was happy to realise that he has gotten a meat sheild that would help protect his life. He followed right behind him.
They arrived at the room that held about four bodies. Mike was about to enter the room when Qu Shu stopped him and gestured him tk be quite. He then spoke in a loud voice as if he wanted someone to listen to what he was speaking.
"Mike, now that it has come to this, why don't you throw a granade inside the room. Whe can't be bothered to keep a low profile when it has come to this."
Bittu after he heard what Qu Shu said was thrown into panic. He would have to escape the room if they were about to throw a granade his way. Bittu without thinking further came out of his hiding place and slowly moved towards the broken window to jump out of the room from their. He moved cautiously so as not to attract their attention.
Qi Shu had a smirk on his face as he stayed outside the room.
