Chapter 29 - The Ark Of Fifth Wing And Threnody

The snake soon found the walls and ran along them, coiling around the Camp from within the cage. Without any warning, the serpent halted.

"I stop this chant on the stage of Death... Break the cycle!" hollered the Valkyrie as she dived to the serpent's head.

With a finger snap, Mavislin summoned her Mystic Tale sword and quickly flew to the side of the cage where the head was. As the Valkyrie approached the serpent's neck, she whispered an apology before her blade was engulfed with a beam of ice and water.

"Fifth Wing; Frosted Seas; Cut the Heavens!" cried Mavislin as she severed the serpent's head using ice and water.

Without having another Tick to lose, everyone within the serpent's embrace fell onto their knees, robbed of their souls. Mavislin then flew out into the middle of the Camp, hovering above the cage, and placed her palm at the top.

"Heaven's Wheel... Fold and Collapse. Devour and let them live within me as Light... Beelzebub's Overhaul," whispered Mavislin as the cage vanished into her palm.

The Valkyrie heaved a sigh of relief as she felt tingling. The hopes and dreams of all who resided in that Camp were now hers... She could not help but smirk as she knew that enough Elemental Energy was procured to slay a Dragon.

However, Mavislin should be cautious about using this power and not tell anyone how she'd defeated the Tribe Camp of the Campania. She then flew towards the main event and was soon met with an ominous dread as she got nearer.

"Not in this lifetime I would think to use the Husks as barriers but here we are," muttered Mavislin as she was stuck before the main Camp due to the copious amount of Husks in front of her.

"What will you do? Valkyrie of Valokia... You can't touch them with your Heaven's Wheel..." smirked a certain Pyromancer as he was perched on the top of his main tent.

Mavislin smiled as she closed her eyes to hear if anyone who didn't belong to the conflict was around. Unfortunately, there weren't more lives to save, so it was free reign for Mavislin to wreak havoc again.

It has been so long since she had such an abundance of Elemental Energy to play around... She wondered what would happen if she'd tried the sister version of Monody. Mavislin landed on the ground while streams of Light Elemental Energy danced around her.

"An angel's Aura? I wonder how she would deal with the Horde of Darkness before her. It'd be such a cliche and a shame if she's just going to use her Howl or anything that's Light Element related," complained the same Pyromancer as he cracked his back.

"Let the Light flow. Let the dark fade. Divine punishment, descend from the heavens. Overturn this spell for this land to strive and flourish once again... But alter it!" shouted the Valkyrie as she snapped her finger.

The streams of Light converging on her body were abruptly halted and morphed into the Dark Element, which freaked everyone who witnessed it, including the Familiars sent by Gillian. Even the Pyromancer widened his eyes in disbelief.

"Light shall fade while the Dark will flow. Vile wishes, ascend from the Hells... This place will rot and decay for eternity," chanted Mavislin as her eyes and wings turned from gold to jet black.

Her hair flowed wildly in the wind as she stepped forward, creating the emblem of Heaven's Wheel underneath the horde using her foot. The emblem was written in black with a hue of red, and the symbols were all broken.

"I've got your attention now! Heaven's Wheel Alter; Threnody!" shouted Mavislin as she slammed her foot into the ground, causing cracks around the area within the emblem.

The Husks rushed to touch the Valkyrie and were held down by the ribbons of the Dark Element. Spikes emerged from everywhere; the cracks and ribbons impaled everything it felt. Destroying the Husks by forcing an overflow of power...

"Why fight with opposite Elements when I can implode my enemies?" whispered Mavislin as every Husk in the area dropped to their knees.

"She... Is insane... Instead of merely destroying their bodies by either using the Light Element or burning them to cinders, she decided to pour more power into their decaying bodies to make them implode?! What monster is she?!" yelled another Pyromancer.

"She isn't insane; this one is smart since using the Light Element would force her to use more power. The overflow of power needed to implode the Husks is way less than what is needed to kill them using the Light Element. She is good."

"Come now; let's greet our guest," commanded the Pyro as he jumped from the tent.

"Are you sure?!" shouted the other Pyromancer.

"Of course!"
