"I only asked to fight the Valkyrie. Interfere, and I will kick you both out the swamp," demanded Old Man Pond as he ran towards Mavislin and jumped up.
Mavislin smirked as she looked up with her mouth full and her Elemental Aura shining in gold.
"Howl of the..." started the Valkyrie as she continued to draw Elemental Energy.
"Roar of the..." said Old Man Pond as he started drawing power from his surroundings.
"Are you serious?!" yelled Baldwin as he backed several meters away from the duo.
The Angry Man was forced to put a small barrier between himself and the raging Mages while muttering curses.
"Valkyries!" shouted Mavislin, unleashing a torrent of Light Elemental Energy towards Old Man Pond.
"Poison God!" yelled Poisoned Pond, delivering a similar attack, but it was purely made out of dark green Poison Elemental Energy.
The two tornadoes clashed, creating green and gold sparks to fly about. A few petrifying Ticks passed as the Mages realized their spells were at the same level and would cancel out soon.
"Not bad... I never thought the Roar of a Poison God would have enough power as my Howl... But now I wonder..."
The Valkyrie vanished from her spot and appeared behind Old Man Pond, delivering a roundhouse kick to the back of her opponent's head. The Poisoned Pond swiftly dodged before grabbing her leg and throwing her across the arena.
Mavislin quickly switched her stance to save herself from being slammed into a stone and dashed back into the conflict, breaking the rock in the process. The duo exchanged punches that created major quakes and shockwaves.
Meanwhile, Baldwin was wondering and counting his stars as to how he'd even agree to this crazy thing in the first place. A Poison God user and a Valkyrie fighting on a border...
As the Valkyrie twirled around to send another kick, Old Man Pond blocked it and recalled his two serpents dancing around the battlefield.
"I think it's time we move on to the main event..." said the Poisoned Pond, as his two serpents merged to form something in his hands.
"I bow down to her, the Goddess of Poison... Feel the wrath of her misery, feel the sorrow of her mist. Let sadness and poison intertwine, form the destruction of her..." chanted Old Man Pond.
As a dark green mist surrounded Poisoned Pond, Mavislin summoned and gripped her sword tightly. As the fog dispersed, it revealed Old Man Pond with new serpent-like green armor with a bright green spear of two, frozen serpents.
Mavislin looked intently, trying to determine if his power had increased or if he was showing off his talent. As thick ribbons of poisonous mist surrounded his spear, the Valkyrie knew that the Poisoned Pond wasn't joking around.
His Elemental Aura skyrockets and combusts, breaking the surface ground around him, but Mavislin still doesn't move from her spot until her opponent launches a new pet for her to deal with.
Looking like a gigantic lizard with a toxic breath powerful enough to kill a hundred men, the Basilisk took a step forward and bared its fangs at Mavislin, who sighed deeply.
"You really think that could scare me?" asked the Valkyrie as she raised her sword above her head with one arm.
"Well, it's worth the shot... Go!" commanded the ex-commander of the Congregation, with the pet springing towards Mavislin.
"Mystic tales; Tenth Wing. Scorch the Aquatic Heavens," called out Mavislin as streams of Elemental Energy sprouted from her sword's tip.
The streams morphed into flaming clouds that hovered above the pet. Ribbons of Water Elemental Energy with a golden hue rained down onto the pet and coiled around its body. The pet thrashed around, only making the bindings thicker and stronger.
"Eleventh Wing; Strike down, Sierra Bolt!" continued Mavislin, slamming her blade into the ground.
As the blade touched the ground, a large bolt of gold lightning came up from the earth and struck the pet through, destroying it instantly. Baldwin and Old Man Pond both gasped in shock... How did she manage to free a bolt of lightning from the ground?!
Moreover, the Poisoned Pond's pet was that easily defeated? The Venomous Beast... The harbinger of terror for the village of Eulgard from the Albion Domain. The one thing that even Z had problems facing it...
And the Valkyrie brought down the beast without moving an inch from her spot?! Baldwin was worried while Old Man Pond was indeed impressed and began to chuckle.
"It seems that I have severely underestimated you... I thought you were still a child since you couldn't defeat your twin back against the Umbras, but I've made a grave error. You, Mavislin Roydon, are truly worthy to be my foe!" yelled the Poisoned Pond, leaping from his place.
