-------Two Months Later-------
Kaen was finished with creating the mana holes in all joints of his body. Along with that, he had also become a 3-star aura knight.
Though it appeared that it was too easy for him to become a 3-star aura knight, however, only he knew the truth.
The amount of concentration it took to create these mana holes without any error was inhumane. It was only possible due to the experience of his past life.
Right now, Kaen's strength was enough to compete with the Blake Barony.
They only had one 4-star aura knight in their knight order and for Kaen, defeating him would be easy with the experience of his past life and the potent aura from the various mana holes in his body.
It is to be noted that due to the various mana holes present in Kaen's joints, his aura could easily overpower an opponent who was only one star superior in level.
At his current 3-star level, Kaen could tie with an average 5-star aura knight, hence he wasn't to be underestimated.
Letting out a sigh of relief, he fell on his back, relaxing while staring at the ceiling.
Now I have decent enough strength to hold my own against average people.
Next, I need to find my dear weapons, Demios and Yuriel.
Hmm... Yuriel will be difficult since it is in another empire altogether but I can go and get Demios since it is nearby.
Alright, the next task is to get Demios before making any further plans.
With Demios, I think I can take over the Blake Barony first.
Making up his mind, He got up from his bed, put on some decent clothes, got a rusty sword, and strode out of his house without his mother noticing.
He walked normally for some distance in one direction before his house was out of sight.
After making sure nobody was around, he drew out mana from his mana core before channeling it in the soles of his foot.
He crouched a little before starting to sprint into the woods. Multiple explosions of mana under his shoes gave him rapid momentum, increasing his speed to a terrifying level.
It was as if nitro had been fit under shoes.
He was right now running in a forest that was nearby and famous for collecting herbs.
There were also magic beasts, however, it wasn't something to worry about since they resided deep within the forest. Only weak magic beasts would appear in the outer part of the forest.
After fifteen minutes of continuous running at 100 km/hr, he arrived at his desired destination.
It was a cave that looked like any other cave for a magic beast to live in. He hid behind the bushes to first check it out from afar.
And to his surprise, There was a bear mother and a Bear cub living inside.
Oh, looks like they were this cave's owners.
Sigh... Now I'll have to wait for that Bear mother to leave before I can go inside.
Though he could defeat this bear mother, Kaen decided to simply wait. It wasn't worth it to kill it when it had a cub to take care of.
In his past life, Kaen had stumbled upon this cave when he was about to turn seventeen. His mother had already died and he was here to collect some herbs.
Due to the sudden rain, he found this cave to take shelter in.
At that time, there was no beast nearby or using that cave.
It was then that he was sucked into the dimensional space where Demios was kept.
After more than three hours, the Bear Mother finally left the cave to do some hunting. The cub had also gone to sleep.
This is the chance I have been waiting for, Let's go!
Kaen took light steps in order to not wake up the bear cub as made his way inside the cave.
He went to the spot where he had sat in his past life and began to touch the wall in search of a trigger.
After touching here and there on the wall, a small part of the wall suddenly got pushed inside as a magic circle became visible.
From the magic circle, a blinding light gushed out that enveloped Kaen before teleporting him to the dimensional space.
He looked around just to make sure everything matched his memories.
Nice! Everything is as I remember.
There was nothing in his surroundings, only an empty white space. Everything was white, the ceiling, the floor, the room, everything with only one exception, Demios.
The terrifying, obsidian-black Trident, with prongs, wrought from obsidian-black metal, gleams with an eerie crimson hue in the dim light as if they thirst for blood.
The shaft, adorned with grotesque, writhing serpents coiling around it, seems to writhe and pulse with a sinister life of its own.
Each prong tapers into a cruelly serrated edge, capable of rending through armor and bone with equal ease.
A chilling aura of malevolence clings to it, whispering dark promises of suffering and doom to those who dare to wield or face it.
Demios was placed on a white showcase stand alongside a scroll.
This scroll contained the technique of creating mana holes in the joints and other techniques to use with Demios.
Since Ashen knew them, he didn't need it again.
He reached out his hand to grab Demios and make it his again, however, contrary to his expectations, as soon as he touched Demios, his surroundings changed as if he was teleported to somewhere else.
In his surroundings, appeared something like a throne room with luxurious chairs lined up to the sides, with the most exquisite golden pillars and floor, a soft red carpet beneath his feet.
However, he didn't have the time to appreciate the majesty of this room because in front of him was a presence he had never felt.
A presence that made the demon king Lucifer look like a mosquito.
In front, sitting on an obsidian black throne was someone he had never seen before, however, Kaen knew that this being was the strongest among all that he had seen or heard in his life.
With his head leaning on his right fist, he was gazing at Kaen with amusement.
Thinking his life was over, he accepted his fate.
Looks like this is it for the second chance I got... Let's depart happily to the other side.
He had no intention to even struggle in front of this being.
