The sleeping bed in Count Kopin's bedroom was also a Gothic style four-poster bed made of oak, which was said to have been ordered by the Count after he visited the bedroom of King Ludwig II of the Kingdom of Bavaria in Neuschwanstein Castle, in the likeness of that bed.
Shaun slept naked on this bed after taking a bath, missing the bedding made by modern industry, the light and soft silk-cotton quilt and various pillows with a choice of softness, much more comfortable than these aristocrats who used so-called handmade quilts and pillows.
"Just left to look good." After Shaun spat out a sentence about this bed, after tossing and turning all night, he quickly entered dreamland.
I don't know how long he slept, Shaun suddenly sensed something touching him in his sleep, and opened his eyes to see the faint light of the sky penetrating into his bedroom through the window, it was already dawn.
The morning sun shone through the window and shone on a chair in front of the window. In the chair sat a woman, dressed in a long white nightgown, barefoot, with long chestnut coloured hair down to her shoulder blades, her hands flat on her lap, looking sideways out of the window, unable to see her features.
Shaun opened his eyes to see such a frightening scene and nearly jumped out from under the duvet and threw a fireball with his hand as he had done the first time he saw Richard.
Luckily he immediately remembered his persona and calmed down, thinking that if the visitor had wanted to do something bad to him, he could have done it a long time ago while he was still awake.
Shaun was tempted at this point to let out a big yawn and say something like, "Who dreams big first, I know myself in my ordinary life." But that image just didn't go well with the devil's son persona.
While thinking about how to say the first words to the visitor to be more in line with the identity, the woman in white seemed to know that he had woken up, turned her head to look at Shaun, stood up and said in German: "My lord, how was your first sleep on earth?" The voice was as cold and refreshing as summer snow, sounding very young, and the tone of her voice, although it did not have the respect that Count Kopin's men spoke with, contained a hidden hint of joy.
Shaun looked at the woman's face, but the light coming in from the window behind the woman produced a backlight effect, so that Shaun still could not see the woman's appearance, and could only see the woman's figure in the backlight as tall and thin.
Shaun had a flash of light in his head and casually instructed, "Go see if my clothes are done."

Against the light of the figure of the woman in white obviously stiffened for a moment, stood for a moment seems to be thinking, and then turned towards the bedroom door, open the door outside the door is connected to the bedroom sitting room, there is a trolley parked in the bedroom door on the side of the above neatly placed two sets of men's underwear, and pajamas and robes each of the two sets, in addition to two sets of men's jackets and waistcoats of different styles, shirts, trousers have been ironed and hung flat In the wardrobe, this is Earl Kopin instructed the tailor who measured Shaun's body to gather enough manpower to rush out overnight.
The woman in white looked at the clothes on the trolley, chose a pair of underwear and a robe and picked them up, walked back to the bedroom and placed them on Shaun's bed.
In the morning light Shaun saw the woman's long, slightly curled chestnut coloured hair like a waterfall, her cold pretty face as pale as the morning mist, but with a hint of a smile at the corner of her mouth.
Shaun lifted the covers and stood up, picking up a set of underwear and putting them on slowly, then slipped into a loose robe.
As Shaun lifted the covers, the woman didn't make any sudden movements in the face of Shaun's nudity, as if everything was natural.
This makes the spirit of "want you to look good" Shaun did not achieve the purpose of mischief, heart a little resentful.
Putting on his robe, Shaun slowly walked to the window, glanced out the window at the back garden of the manor, and then turned around, so that he was in the position of the light, looking at the woman.
The woman's long hair hid part of her cheeks on either side, revealing a straight nose and deep brows and a soft, upturned mouth.
"My lord, allow me to introduce myself:My name is Iris, called by the king's sense, I have come to serve your lordship." After saying that the woman in white on did not perform the courtly salute like the common noblewomen of the time, but instead went forward and took Shaun's hand and bowed and kissed the back of his hand.
"Not saying your last name, hiding something from me? Or is there some other hidden agenda?" Shaun thought to himself.
Then in the brighter and brighter light, Shaun saw some details clearly and couldn't help but frown slightly:Iris was in her mid-twenties, with a lot of stains on her white nightgown, and her bare feet were dirty, as if she had walked barefoot all day in the old city of Cologne.

But despite this, it couldn't hide a cool and noble temperament that came out of Iris, and with her pale complexion, it gave people a feeling that it was extremely hard to get close to her.
Noticing Shaun's line of sight, Iris smiled and explained: "Last night, I received the Lord's revelation and sensed my lord's descent, fortunately, I happened to be in Brussels, Belgium last night, so I rushed all night to serve my lord, I didn't change my clothes in my haste, and my shoes ran out, so I hope your lordship will forgive me. In the future, your honour's safety will be my responsibility."
Shaun smiled faintly as he listened, with an unperturbed look, but in reality, he was extremely shocked in his heart:``Brussels to this manor is about two hundred or so kilometres, I descended here last night at zero midnight, and when I woke up just now, it was about five thirty, and even if she sensed that I had descended and set off right after that, she would have to finish the 200 kilometres of road in five and a half hours. No wonder the shoes are all gone. How did that happen?"
Shaun remembered back to 1900 before in the Spirit World the Demon King said to him that there would be real demon servants for Shaun to drive, and at the same time there were many stupid humans who called themselves demon servants that could be driven.
"Could it be that this one in front of me is a real demon servant? Running two hundred kilometres in five and a half hours, and subtracting the time it took to unknowingly enter my room and pose by the window, seems like it really is something. It helps to have someone like that around."
Thinking about it Shaun added: "Go and get Coppin to get you some clothes. Just in time to tell them to prepare breakfast and you and I will eat together."
Iris gave a light smile of delight and bowed slightly : "A great honour, my lord."
Then Iris walked towards the bed and pulled on a rope that was draped over the corner of the bed. If it wasn't for Iris pulling it, Shaun wouldn't have even noticed that there was a rope there.
Not long after the rope was pulled, footsteps sounded outside the bedroom door and then there was a soft knock on the door.
Iris walked straight over and opened the door, and the person knocking outside was none other than Count Kopin.
Earl Kopin completely froze at the sight of Iris who opened the door.
"Earl Kopin, please prepare breakfast for my lord, for two, and I will eat with him. Also, please prepare some clothes for me." There was absolutely no tension in Aerys issuing orders to an Earl.

Earl Kopin was somewhat unexpectedly disoriented, his eyes peeked over Iris to look inside and saw the Demon's Son Lord standing by the window, smiling and nodding slightly towards himself.
Count Kopin immediately bowed respectfully and said, "As you wish, noble lady." Then he never looked at Iris again, lowered his head and turned around to arrange breakfast.
After a while, Shaun, who had changed into a comfortable civilian clothes, and Iris, whose body was still dirty, dined together in the dining room of Count Kopin's manor.
There were only the two of them at the huge dining table, and around them stood several servants who had been called up by Earl Kopin early in the morning.
"It's a good thing I've studied medieval European court etiquette, or else I'd have to use my brain to cover up the scandal again." Shaun finished his hearty breakfast and wiped his mouth with a napkin.
Through observation, Shaun still couldn't conclude Iris's origin. Table manners seemed to be non-existent for Iris, she ate how she was comfortable like a girl from the era Shaun grew up in, naturally, without any pretence, and on the contrary, one couldn't sense rudeness.
"Your eating style is so inconsistent with your temperament, isn't it." Shaun thought with some surprise, "Don't be complacent, sooner or later I will find out your identity."
At that moment, a carriage pulled into the gates of the manor, and after parking, Carl got out of the carriage. Handing over his coat and hat to the servant, then shaking the stack of documents in his hand towards Count Kopin who welcomed him: "The master's identity is done."
Earl Kopin nodded with a smile, and then came over to tell Karl about the strange woman who suddenly appeared in the master's bedroom: "For some reason, that woman's appearance makes me vaguely feel familiar." Earl Kopin finally said.
Carl said: "I'll go report to my master about the identity and take a look in the meantime." At this time Shaun and Iris were drinking black tea in the dining room, Earl Kopin had arranged for the maid to bring Iris a few sets of ladies' hunting clothes that Earl Kopin's daughter wore on holiday to this manor before she got married. Iris was preparing to take a bath and change into them later.
Karl came into the dining room, his eyes swept over Iris, his eyes did not linger, and bowed to Shaun: "Honourable master, please forgive me for interrupting your after-dinner time to introduce you to your new identity in the world."
Shaun nodded and looked at Carl with considerable interest.
"Your new name is Franz. Benhart, originally belonging to a French spy and infiltrator of the Dark

Church, has committed suicide in a military prison last night, The military and the Church have been informed, so the identity of Franz. Bernhardt identity is no longer used by anyone, and the French and Dark Church side will no longer be associated with this identity."
"You as Franz . Benhart was originally an assistant professor at the University of Cologne, and after inheriting the family legacy, he resigned, bought a house in Cologne, and lived a semi-reclusive and leisurely life. Franz Bernhardt Benhart also has a hidden identity:a member of the 'Shield of Dawn', reporting directly to me."
Speaking of this Karl placed the documents in his hand and a small wooden box on the table: "These are the relevant documents for identification and the identity badge of the 'Shield of Dawn', which you can wear if you feel the need to do so. Your personnel information has already been filed with the Shield of Dawn, you are an official member."
Shaun nodded: "Very well. From now on, in private, you will address me as Lord Benhart, and in public, just call me Franz."
Karl bowed and said, "As you wish, Lord Benhart. Your residence and proof of deposit of seventy thousand gold marks will be prepared for you today, so please rest here for the time being."
Shaun let out a "hmmm", then pointed to Iris and said to Carl: "She is my secretary, you can hand over these matters to her from now on."
Next to Iris said softly: "My lord, I'm only responsible for your safety, the rest ..."
Shaun raised his hand and interrupted Iris with a slight urgency: "In order to facilitate walking in the world, we all have to adapt to our new identities, don't we?" He said and looked at Eris with a smile.
Karl broke out into a cold sweat at what Iris said to Shaun, followed by Shaun's reaction which made him breathe a sigh of relief.
"Lord Benhart, honourable lady, if there is nothing else, I will retire." Carl said respectfully before bowing and taking a few steps backwards and turning to exit the restaurant.
Carl didn't walk out a few steps suddenly a cold voice behind him rang out: "You recognise me, don't you?"
Carl broke out in a cold sweat again and turned around bending slightly in apology.
Iris, who was still wearing a stained white nightgown but couldn't hide her unassuming demeanour, stood behind Carl and said, "There's no need to tell His Excellency, and he won't take the initiative to ask you. Nor is there any need to inform my family, they will not heed my departure."

Karl bowed and respectfully replied, "Yes, Your Highness."
