News reached Leah about Alpha Tim setting their wedding night under the full moon, and her heart filled with excitement.
Joel, Leah's younger brother, heard about it and immediately sought her out. "Leah, are you sure about this?" he asked.
Leah rose from her bed and gestured for him to sit. "I have never been so sure, Joel," she smiled at him.
Joel, standing at 6'2 with perfect light skin, brown hair, and brown eyes, complementing his looks, sat down. His lips formed a perfectly fine line, and his jawline was well-defined.
"I know you can see the future, Joel. What do you see about my marriage?" Leah asked.
"My vision is not clear yet. You seem very happy from what I've seen so far."
"So it means Alpha Tim is my true happiness?" Leah asked. Joel just sat there, staring at her.
"I can't wait to be married," she said excitedly. "I'm here for you, Leah," Joel assured her.
Apart from her friend Jade, Joel had always been by her side. When her father noticed her inability to communicate with her inner beast, Alpha Philip decided to give Leah a baby brother who spent all his time protecting his sister.
"I'm going to be fine, Joel. Trust me. Alpha Tim will protect me," Leah's cheeks turned red at the mention of Alpha Tim.
Tiana, understanding the challenges of wedding preparations, began getting ready for it. It was a discreet wedding, and she aimed to keep decorations minimal and invite only close family members.
Preparations went smoothly. Leah tried on numerous wedding dresses before settling on one, and Jade stood by her side throughout the process.
The full moon night arrived swiftly, as if the moon goddess herself was cheering for them. Alpha Tim, dressed in a sleek black tuxedo, his black hair brushed backward, stood with his mother, Ricky, his omega, and some pack members.
Emilia found her way to Leah's dressing room, knocking and entering with a friendly greeting. Emilia's voice commanded respect, and though it sounded
friendly, it demanded attention. When she stepped into full view, everyone turned to look at her. "Here is our beautiful bride." Leah turned to see her mother-in-law for the first time, walking toward her with a smile. "Emilia," Leah called out her name. "Alpha Tim was not wrong in his description of you," she said when she got close.
"He was very detailed, right?" Emilia asked, smiling and drawing her in for a warm hug. "He was not wrong about you either," Emilia complimented, pushing her hair behind her eyes.
"You must be Tiana," Emilia said, turning to Leah's mother. Tiana nodded and smiled.
"Beautiful home you have here," Emilia complimented.
"I'm glad you like it," Tiana said.
"They are all seated and waiting for the bride," Emilia reminded them.
Leah was only waiting for the moon to be full before walking down the aisle.
When the moon was full and shining brightly, Leah stepped out of her room and walked to the hall, the roof taken out so the moon shone brightly into the hall.
Leah donned her blue bridal dress, her appearance marked with wildness, her hair in untamed curls, and her eyes fierce.
She walked down the aisle. The crystal stones on her dress caught the light, adding subtle sparkle and enhancing the overall beauty of the dress. Her face remained straight as she locked eyes with Alpha Tim.
Tim's Pov:
As Tim watched Leah walk down the aisle, her eyes bore into him, as if they could pierce his heart. He had just met her, and here she was, about to be married to him. Hoping to keep her smile forever, he vowed to take care of her and keep her close.
"You look beautiful," he said as she approached. Stretching out his hand, she took it, and he helped her take her position next to him.
This wedding was a unique union, the couple adorned in a blend of traditional attire and hints of untamed elements, exchanging vows against a backdrop of nature.
"I love you, Tim," Leah said, smiling after they exchanged their vows.
Tim returned the smile. Howls echoed after they exchanged vows, replacing the conventional music.
After what felt like an eternity, Leah was on her way to Alpha Tim's pack. Finally bidding farewell to her father's pack, she was ready to embark on the next chapter of her life.
Leah wondered why Tim's pack didn't throw a welcome party for her. She braced herself, thinking it might be because they returned late.
"Feel comfortable, our Luna," Emilia said with a welcoming smile.
"You have a beautiful home, Emilia," Leah replied, taking a proper look at the house that had stood since the 20th century.
"I managed it after Tim's grandmother passed," Emilia explained. Tim entered and smiled at her, "Are you okay?" he asked. Leah nodded, going close to him.
"Thank you for marrying me and loving me, Tim."
"I will do it again and again, just to have you next to me," Tim said.
"Mum, take her to the master's bedroom. I have a few things to take care of," he said to his mum. Then turning to Leah, he added, "Don't wait up too long; I might return late. Sleep when you can." With that, he kissed her cheek and walked away.
Leah watched him walk majestically out of her view, her heart swelling with happiness. "He works too much," Emilia commented.
Emilia took Leah to the master's bedroom and helped her settle in.
"I will help you shower if that's okay with you. Maybe we can get along, and you can ask any questions about Tim."
"Thank you so much, Emilia," Leah said, letting her undress. She headed to the little waterfall on the other side of the room. She dipped herself in, and Emilia helped her shower. They talked a lot about Tim's childhood.
"Thank you for accepting me," Leah said after she stepped out from the water.
"Come on, child, a mother will do anything for her child's happiness. I bent for Tim's happiness, and Tiana bent for your happiness," Emilia said.
"You don't have a problem with me not having shifted before and being weak? I haven't shifted before, and I'm weak," Leah said, almost in tears.
"I am happy you are here now; we will take care of you," Emilia said, wiping off her tears.
"Love is not an overstatement," Leah started, "thank you for loving me and reassuring, Emilia."
"Now, child, call me mother or mum. Emilia sounds too formal," Emilia said.
Emilia spent a few more hours with her while they waited for Tim to return. Once they noticed he was going to be very late, she said, "Don't wait for Tim anymore. Like I told you before, he takes pack activities too seriously. Maybe with you around, he will have time to be home too." Emilia kissed Leah's forehead, and they bid each other goodnight, with Emilia leaving the bedroom to hers.
