Chapter 20 - You are kid!

With women, Li Si was going to be a little more gentle.

He simply took firm control of the woman's neck with a standard naked choke until the other woman's eyes rolled back in her head and she passed out.

The little girl looked away in awe and hid behind Li Si, handing him her mobile phone in the process.

"What next?"

She had no doubt now that Li Si could take out all the traffickers.

"Let's see ...," Li Si said as he advanced along the sewers, quickly spotting clues.

It wouldn't be appropriate to call it a clue, because the traffickers weren't even trying to cover anything up.

They had chained off the third sewer pipe from the left.

"Old Four" and the middle-aged woman were just minor characters guarding the door, where they had set up a table with a few small plates of food.

Li Si also saw two empty beer cans.

"Amateur." He commented for the umpteenth time.

"First things first, I don't know how to get in there. Someone else is in charge of getting these things out of the way every time." The little girl said.

Li Si slanted her a look, knowing she was lying again.

Apparently, the little girl just didn't want to head off for Li Si.

This roadblock was hard for Li Si to beat. He drew out his chain saw, and in no time at all, a toothsome crunching sound was heard.

The little girl covered her ears, but her eyes kept peeking at the dishes on the table.

There was a bit of tinned pork left on one plate.

She quietly gulped.

Clatter~

The thin chain that had been sawn into several pieces fell to the ground, revealing the sewer behind it. The hole was so dark that nothing could be seen.

The sound made just now was so loud that it was impossible for the people inside not to notice it.

The little girl looked up at Li Si and found that the guy had his mobile phone up again.

"Did you ..."

"That's right, of course we're calling the police. After all, there are only two of us here! How can we possibly deal with so many people!"

Li Si purposely said it out loud, and the caller picked up the phone.

"Hello? This is the He Yun District Police Station."

"Sir, I want to call the police. A few human traffickers have been found on this side of Wo Yun Road, why don't you send someone to check it out?"

A rustling sound came from deep inside the tunnel, and the little girl took a step back.

Those few words of Li Si's were clearly heard by those people inside the tunnel, so they couldn't sit still.

The police officer who answered the alarm call was also stuck for a moment.

The operation against Wakunlu was an internal police department secret, and it just so happened that this constable was one of those in the know.

After asking a few more questions and determining that it was really the gang of criminals they had been watching for days, the constable was stunned:

"This group of criminals are very dangerous and are likely to be in possession of a large number of weapons. You don't care what to report or not, hurry and exit first!"

"Ah, this well ... seems a bit difficult."

Li Si slowly backed up and slipped the phone into his trouser pocket.

Only to see three strong men come out of the tunnel, all holding clubs and axes in their hands.

One of them also had a barge gun on his waist.

The faces of these three men were not fierce and vicious, quite the contrary, even a little naive. Just like the old peasants who were poor and had no choice but to go to the city to make a living.

But the words that came out of their mouths sent chills down one's spine.

The man with the gun looked at the little girl and spat on the ground.

"I told you that a money-loser who doesn't carry a gun will definitely only eat and eat, and it's better not to be born at all. Look at you two, isn't that what I'm talking about? Bringing ghosts into the house!"

The remaining two men loudly agreed.

One of the men hemmed and hawed and said with some embarrassment, "Big brother, that money-loser, can we not kill it first?"

"As you know, I begged Zhang Fen that bitch several times, and she froze and wouldn't let me touch her daughter. I bah!"

The little girl's face went white.

Fear surfaced on her face, and if she wasn't pressed against the wall, Li Si suspected that she would have paralysed on the floor on the spot.

"Lao San, why do you spend all day thinking about that crap. Can chicks have as much fun as those pussies at the Crispy Bones Bath?"

The man with the gun hated it and said, "Just this once, ah, it won't happen again."

The police officer on the phone was still shouting something at the top of his lungs, but Li Si could no longer hear him.

Before hanging up the phone, he said one last thing.

"Sir, take it easy, I'll take a moment of self-defence."

...

It was ten o'clock at night when Team Qin received the call, and the police officer on the other end of the line did his best to calm himself down, and made the cause and effect clear in three minutes.

Ten minutes later, the large force poured in, fifty professional armed police officers forming ten teams, heading towards the tower from all directions.

They hadn't yet determined the exact location of the traffickers' gang.

So according to the plan, three squads detoured around the tower while the remaining men were responsible for turning the entire building upside down.

Within a few minutes, Team Qin's phone rang.

His spirits were lifted, not expecting a capture so soon.

As a result, he connected to the armed police's camera, and he saw a bearded man cowering in a corner with his hands raised.

Qin Ze rubbed his eyebrows, "... This should be the general public, protect it first."

When the entire system started running, it was incredibly efficient.

It didn't take long for an armed police member to discover a suspicious sewer entrance.

There were many human traces at the entrance, and it was suspected that it had been no more than half an hour since the last time someone had entered.

"Blow ... up and forget about it, deploy cautiously and sneak in quickly."

Team Qin had wanted to blow up the entire entrance, but he remembered that the person who had reported the case earlier was still inside.

Nine times out of ten, that person was Li Si correctly. According to the officer who had called in the report, Li Si had already been discovered by the trafficker gang before he hung up the phone.

Even though he had only met him once, a trace of pity welled up in Team Qin's heart.

The fact that he couldn't stand to see Li Si's modus operandi didn't stop him from lamenting the death of a promising young actor for fighting crime.

"There might be another young man in there. Find him and try to keep him safe."

Although he did not hold any hope for Li Si's survival, Team Qin still ordered this.

Shortly after, a call from the first line came in.

Team Qin couldn't wait to get through: "What have you found?"

As a result, the armed police officer on the other side of the phone had an odd tone.

"Erm, Team Qin, I suggest you'd better take a look for yourself."

When Team Qin arrived, the scene was already surrounded by three layers inside and three layers outside.

Several crying children were being led outside by the armed police, who handed those children over to the dumbfounded doctors and nurses ...

Doctors and nurses: aren't we here to save lives? How did we suddenly wander into a crime scene?

There was no time to care about them, just instructed a few armed police not to let anyone destroy the evidence.

Team Qin entered the sewer with a big step, and then saw that familiar face.

Li Si was gulping down bread, his cheeks bulging into hamsters.

A small girl sat down close to him, taking small bites of tinned pork.

The Qin team looked at the mess in silence.

There were bloodstains everywhere, and several men with broken tendons and bones lay on the ground wailing loudly, only hastily covering their bodies with a white cloth to keep them warm.

Team Qin squatted down and identified their faces one by one.

Associated with their identity as human traffickers, the armed police at the scene probably deliberately did not save them and left them where they were.

In order to make these people suffer more.

He approached Li Si and found that the other party was not doing well either.

A large piece of skin was broken on his face, and his arm was still wrapped in a bandage.

"It didn't affect your acting career, did it?" Team Qin sat down next to Li Si.

The little girl's hand holding the spoon gave a start. What acting career? What kind of black language is this?

Li Si was full of concern: "The doctor said it won't leave a scar, so it doesn't matter. But ..."

He hesitated, "Although it seems like a man died from his injuries, I really did act in self-defence, sir."

Team Qin wanted to say something, but finally sighed, "You are kid."
