Me and Akina arrived in Taiyougakure and Mayor Natso Katama ran straight to us when he saw our arrival. He was a man about 50 years old with glasses and a long gray beard and was wearing a long brown coat. He used to be an accountant in a small clothing factory, but he had to run away, because his employer blamed him for a theft that took place in his company and set Ninja on his head to get the money back from him. It turned out that he had nothing to do with the theft, but his boss didn't care and I was supposed to get rid of him to teach the other employees a lesson.
Katama: Lord Senju, I have already heard from the other children that you are coming to us. I took the girls to the castle, where they will be instructed and washed by Kanaka. And you little one must be the other girl who will be living here from today? My name is Mr. Katama and I am the mayor of the village and am responsible for managing everything here when our Lord Senju is not present.
Akina: My name is Akina and I am happy to live here.
Sato: Natso, have the other children already received clothes or do I have to provide them?
Natso: We still had enough clothes for all the children, the girls and boys are currently taking a bath together in the large bathing house and some volunteers are helping them. Most of the children are very traumatized and don't trust men, so we let the women handle the matter.
Sato: Well, then let's go to them and make them a nice dinner.
We walked through the streets of the village and Akina saw that there were flying soap bubbles everywhere that lit up the streets.
Akina: Sato, how do these lights work, they are so pretty?
Sato: Ah, you noticed them, come with me, I'll show you.
I went with her to one of the houses on the side of the street and we stood in front of a small device that I developed.
Sato: This is our light generator, just try pulling the lever.
Akina grabbed the lever and turned it, in the next moment 10 of these approximately 30cm large bubbles shot out of the machine and floated in a row in front of us.
Sato: Now you can take it in your hand and throw it where you want the lighting.
Akina looked at me questionably and said: "But won't the bubbles burst then?"
Sato: Don't worry, the bubbles won't pop unless you crush them.
Akina took one of the bubbles in her hands and said, "They really don't pop, but how does it work and what creates the light?"
Sato: There is a gas in them that I invented and this gas absorbs sunlight throughout the day and only discharges it after hours when it is in one of the bubbles. But in our village there are many other things that are even better than the light bubbles. But the others will explain everything to you. Let's go to the others, because you also have to take a bath, as I see it.
We arrived in front of the castle and Akina's eyes widened as we walked inside. Everything looked so noble, as if she were in another world, there were paintings on the walls and iron armor decorated every corridor, everyone had shields and swords and bore the coat of arms of the Senju clan.
Akina: What are all the armors for, they were probably expensive and this carpet looks so elegant, where do you get such good quality from?
Sato: I made all of this myself, if the village is ever attacked, all villagers will be evacuated to the castle and the armor will attack any intruders. They have the strength of a Jonin and can be very dangerous for any attacker.
Akina: You did it all yourself, doesn't it take ages?
Sato: It took me about 2 days to make all the armor, there are about 150 pieces in total. However, if all of the armors were to be destroyed, there is one last defense, one armor is in my throne room and can even fight on equal terms with the Kage of the 5 major villages.
I accompanied Akina to the bathhouse of my castle and met Ms. Yoko Kanaka. She is our secretary and is very whiny, she is usually so touched by my generosity that she starts crying and only stops when I comfort her. She is 1.70m tall with ash blonde hair and blue eyes, she usually wears a knee-length skirt and blouse and wears green glasses which she uses as a necklace, because she only needs the glasses when reading.
But she is a very talented person and is good with people, as her old job was to raise and teach the children of nobles. Unfortunately, she was accused of poisoning a nobleman and was about to be hanged. I knew she was innocent and I got her also saved.
Yoko: Lord Senju!
She got on her knees and bowed to me.
Sato: I told you I don't want you to bow to me.
Yoko: But you are our Kage, I have to respect your rank, I won't agree to any changes.
All the children who were in the bathing hall and being washed by the helpers now looked over at me and began to question the helpers about me.
Sato: I'm coming to hand over little Akina to you, she needs to bathe too.
Yoko: Does our lord want to take a bath too, I think everyone would be excited?
Miss Kanaka blushed and looked at the floor, no one in the entire bathhouse was currently clothed, except for me and Akina.
Sato: No, I'll go to the kitchen and make something to eat for everyone. When you are ready, bring the children and all helpers to the dining room. I think a lot of the kids haven't had a good meal in a long time, so I'm going to make something quick for them.
Yoko: That's a shame, my lord, because I really wanted to wash your back.
Sato: Maybe next time, I'm also a man and don't want to disturb the children unnecessarily.
Yoko: I understand my lord. But next time, promise?
Sato: Well, I promise. Akina let the others help you if you need help, I will then prepare the food for all of you.
Akina: Ok and thank you for everything you have done for me.
Sato: You're welcome and now go to the others and find some good friends.
Akina: I will and I will also train until I am as strong as Suki Sama.
I stroked Akina's hair and went into the kitchen and created pizza, burger, fries, chicken nuggets and juices for the children to drink and for the adults I made a solyanka and a deer goulash with rolls and rice and some herbal liqueur to digest. After about 30 minutes the first children and helpers came into the dining room. I had set a large table and sat at the end of the table and the children sat down enthusiastically.
Sato: You can start eating now, as you can see I'm already eating a little.
The children didn't hesitate for long and started eating and were thrilled with everything and some even started to cry, because they were happier than ever before.
One of the kids came up to me and gave me a kiss on my cheek and looked at me embarrassed. I took the little one on my lap and fed her, she was still very young, no more than four years old.
Sato: What's your name little one?
Girl: My name is Sahra.
Sato: And do you like it here, was everyone friendly to you?
Sahra: Yes, it's really great here, my big sister likes everyone here too.
Sato: After you sleep tonight, you can go to our playground at the morning with the other children, how does that sound?
Sahra: What is a playground?
Sato: That is a place where a lot of children go to play and meet up with their friends and there are lots of great wooden toys and swings, we even have a small labyrinth and a large sandpit with shovels and buckets if you want to build a sandcastle. You'll sleep in the castle today and then tomorrow I'll show you everything and introduce you to the village, okay?
Sahra: That sounds good, even if I didn't understand everything.
I stroked the little one on the head and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Sato: Then you have a lot to learn tomorrow, nobody beats my sandcastles.
The little one smiled at me and snuggled up to me and said: "You're a nice man, I like you."
Sato: I like you all too and I hope you're happy here. So if you have any questions or problems, just come to me!
The children smiled at me and continued eating. After an hour everyone was ready and I took them to their short-term accommodation. I gave them all pajamas and changed them and then put them in their beds to sleep and Yoko helped me with that. When we were finished with the children, I spoke to her directly about the distribution of all the children.
Yoko: Many have already volunteered to take in some of the children. I'll talk to more people tomorrow to give everyone a home.
Sato: It would be good if we find someone to run our orphanage, if we can't accommodate everyone.
Yoko: I think we'll manage, by the way, Keto asked if you could provide some jutsu scrolls for the Ninja Academy and maybe build a parkour for the kids.
Sato: I will, is there anything else new?
Yoko: Otherwise maybe a bar would be good for the adults or something so they can unwind.
Sato: I have plans for a cinema and a bowling and billiard hall. Alcoholic drinks will also be served there.
Yoko: I don't know what these things are, but they sound like fun.
Sato: We need 3 volunteersge who take care of these things, of course everything in our village is free, so we will need someone who can recognize when someone has had enough. I suggest Wontei for the bowling and billiard hall, he has a strong look and people respect him and he used to be a mercenary and can take action if someone causes trouble. And we still need 2 for the cinema, but it will only be open twice a week in the evenings. One day there is a film for children and the next day one for adults, so no one feels disadvantaged. I will of course provide the films, as well as honey popcorn and nachos with dip and drinks. Someone has to distribute the food and someone has to distribute the drinks. They can also use the cinema privately and watch old films if they feel like it. Maybe one of the children wants to help, but then we'll arrange it so that they only have access to the children's films. Maybe we can change the task after a year, so that others take over the task.
Yoko: That sounds good, but what kind of films will be playing there?
Sato: I'll think of something, by the way, tomorrow morning I'll bring my little sister and Hinata here, so I'll start building the cinema today, I'll place it in the center of the village and the bar later on the edge of the village.
Yoko: I trust you after all, you are for us our heroe and we all trust you with our lives, no one will say anything against your decisions.
Sato: By the way, is the power supply enough or do I have to build more energy storage devices?
Yoko: We all live in luxury and the electricity is absolutely sufficient.
Sato: If something is missing, all you have to do is say it and I'll take care of it straight away.
I'm going to go to work now and you should spend the night here today, in case one of the children wakes up. Lie down in my room, I told the children that if something is wrong they should come to me.
Yoko: I will do that and good luck by building the the cinema Lord Senju.
Sato: You'll probably never learn, goodbye and good night, Yoko.
I then worked all night on the cinema and the bowling and billiard hall and was quite tired when I finished them at around 4am. I then went with a portal to Suki and Hinata, who were both sleeping peacefully in the same bed, and also lay down for 3 hours.
