After I said goodbye to Linn and Kana I made my way to Hanabi to tell her about everything.
Hanabi: You're just way too kind to your aunt.
Sato: I know, but she can't help the situation of the three of them. And since there's no mission, we can still cuddle tonight.
Hanabi: But you still go to this Fui to check on his mother.
Sato: Yes, I'll also get some clothes for the children and bring them new bed covers.
Hanabi: But after that you'll come back Sato, it's really boring here without you.
Sato: I love you too and you can knit me a scarf if you need something to do.
Hanabi: But I'm not good at knitting?
Sato: I'll wear it, I don't care what it looks like.

I kissed her and made my way to Fui and Lewii. I entered the house and no one was in sight, so I went upstairs where Fui's mother saw me from her bed.

The woman's tears flowed.
Mother: My name is Katlin Raga and I thank you very much for everything you have done for us.
I went to her bed and checked her pulse.
Sato: you'll recover soon, but it was almost too late to save you. You can stay in the house if you and your family want to.
Katlin: When do you think I'll recover?
Sato: You are malnourished and your muscles need time to recover. I would say about a month and you are back in good shape.
Katlin: I thank you, when I lost my job 6 months ago and couldn't find a new one, I didn't know what else I could do. Our landlord kicked us out of the apartment and when I got sick we only lived on what my son earned. I'm a bad mother.
Sato: Don't say something like that, if you were a bad mother, your children wouldn't fight so hard for you.
The woman couldn't hold back her tears and cried into her hands.
Katlin: We won't live here long, I'll get a job and pay you back.
Sato: You don't have to pay me anything back and you can live here in peace, the buildings are almost all empty and no one uses them. And if you need food, let me know and I will bring something over. I also brought new bedding and clothes for you and your children.
Katlin: But you've already done so much for us so that we can't accept all of this.
Sato: But I insist, because your son is my student and he must be able to represent the Senju in the future.
Shortly afterwards, Lewii ran naked out of the bathroom and jumped onto her mother's bed.
Lewii: Mom, the bathroom was great and there was even a rubber duck that I could play with.
The next moment Lewii noticed that I was sitting next to the bed and her face turned red.
Sato: Don't worry, you don't have anything I haven't seen before. I brought you some pajamas, I hope you like them. I went downstairs and got her bunny pajama with long white bunny ears and gave it to her.
Sato: So, do you think you like it?
Lewii took it and put it on straight away.
Lewii: It's really cozy and warm, thanks Sensei Sato.
Sato: You look so cute in it, it used to belong to my little sister Suki. Suki will definitely come over from time to time to play with you. Is your brother still in the bathroom?
Lewii: Yes, he washed me first and now he is bathing.
Sato: Then be so kind and bring his new clothes to the bathroom and I'll go home to my wife. I wish you three a nice evening and if anything happens, look for one of the three illuminated houses in the clan compound. By the way Lewii, are you going to the Ninja Academy too?
Lewii: No, but I would like to.
Sato: Then we will try to accommodate you there.
Lewii: Really, Onii Chan said we don't have enough money for this?
Sato: But you also want to be as strong as your brother, right? I'm going to ask the Hokage for a favor, she is my aunt after all.
Lewii: Yay, I can finally go to school.
The little white bunny shouted and jumped around.

Sato: I have spoken to my team and have settled Fui and his family in our clan compound. His little sister Lewii is seven years old and not yet at school, so you should sneak her into one of the lower classes so that her mother can look for a new job in peace and find enough time for it.
Tsunade: So his family situation was that bad?
Sato: His mother probably would have died today if I hadn't intervened and his sister was starving.
Tsunade: Worse than I imagined. Is the woman okay again?
Sato: She is still severely malnourished and her muscles need a while to recover and her old house was a ruin.
Tsunade: You did well, do they live near you?
Sato: They live two streets away and if something happens, I told them to just look for the lit houses.
Tsunade: Shizune, put the girl in one of the first classes, she hasn't missed much yet.
Shizune: Will be done.
Sato: Thanks aunty, I'm going back to Hanabi now and have a nice dinner with her.
Tsunade: Thanks for everything and I hope you have fun with Hanabi, you can go Sato.
Another month passed and I used this to teach the three as much as I could and during that time I covered the girls costs for their accommodation and food, because my training meant they had no time for missions.
Today is the day that I take the three of them on a mission outside of Konoha and the three of them are very nervous. It's an escort mission to the land of tea and our client is a 30 year old woman whose husband wants her safely escorted home, so nothing special.
Sato: Well, you can relax a little more, if someone is around, I'll let you know.
Fui: Yes Sensei, understood.
Sato: And Ms. Wetzler, what were you actually doing in Konoha, if I may ask?
Wetzler: I was visiting my parents. I'm actually from Konoha, but I met my husband when he was selling his goods in Konoha and it immediately clicked between us. It was love at first sight and after a year I married him and have been living in the land of tea ever since. But I missed my parents and wanted to see them again after all these years.
Kana: That's a great story, what's it like in the land of tea?
Wetzler: The nobles are pretty aloof and flush with money. But everyone I know does an honest job and there are also many fun parties where everyone, rich and poor, gets their money's worth and has fun together. So you're a ninja? What is it like in your lives?
Kana: Me and Linn live together and are trying to save for our own house, but in order to make a lot of money we have to become Chunin first. Our old sensei died on our first mission outside of Konoha and this is our second. Sensei Sato has taught us a lot of things in the last month and since we all have only civilian backgrounds, we are very grateful to him for that. Without him it would have taken us years to learn so much. However, his training was also very hard, sometimes we had to limp home or fell asleep right in the dojo.
Fui: I still remember when his training started with the weights, it was hell. Even when our bones broke or we were almost bleeding to death, he healed us briefly and we continued training.
Linn: Sensei's training was the best ever, he was even able to heal my severed finger in seconds.
Sato: Now stop, otherwise Ms. Wetzler will be scared about me.
Wetzler: I actually find it rather interesting and it bothers me less. I think you can recognize a good ninja by his ambition.
Sato: Team, there are 3 people coming towards us, they should be civilians. They are fleeing from something, so stay alert.
After about 200 meters we met the civilians.
Civilist: Our village is currently being attacked by a huge beast, run while you still can.
Sato: How big is this beast?
Civilist: At least 10 m tall and has huge rice teeth.
Sato: Thanks for the info, kids you heard the man. What do you want to do?
Fui: Of course we kill the monster.
Sato: That's what I wanted to hear, let's move on.
After about 10 minutes we arrived at the village.
Sato: You all protect Ms.Wetzler. I will see what goes on here!
"Understood"
All three formed a triangle formation around Ms. Wetzler and I went into the village looking for the monster and survivors. I sensed some survivors in the rubble and created shadow clones to free them all. After 5 minutes I had rescued about 46 survivors and asked them what the monster looked like, but none of them could give me an exact answer.
I saw large paw prints in the mud, which I then followed. They led out of the village and into the forest. After about 300 meters the prints disappeared and I couldn't find any more, so I went back to my team who was already waiting for me.
Sato: I think it was a Familiar Spirit and a large one at that, so it was at least a Jonin who summoned it.
Fui: So there are other ninja involved, sensei?
Sato: I think so, but we have peace, why would someone destroy a village, even such a small one?
Wetzler: I heard rumors that a monster had already destroyed a village near here. At the time it was said that it was the vengeful spirit of a forest god who wanted his land back.
Sato: That's not our problem. I'll quickly build a house for the villagers and then we'll move on.
Wetzler: You want to build a house for them?
Sato: I have mastered the First Hokage's Wood Release, it will only take a moment.
I went to the village center and built a small apartment complex for people to sleep in, since all their houses were destroyed. The people thanked me for my help and my team moved on. After an hour we arrived in Mrs. Wetzler's village. It was called Premus and had about 3,000 residents. It was a somewhat larger village and surrounded by forests.
Sato: It's really nice here, I like your village.
Wetzler: It's really idyllic here. Give me your Mission Order so that I can sign it.
I took the order out of my bag and Ms. Wetzler signed it.
Sato: Team, this mission is your first successful mission outside of Konoha!
All three started cheering.
Kana: And I was afraid that we would be attacked again.
Fui: Not this time.
Sato: It's too early to celebrate, we still have to go back to the village. And say goodbye to Ms. Wetzler.
All three bowed to her and said goodbye.
Wetzler: And take care of yourselves. It was fun getting to know you and if I need an escort again, I will choose you again.
I then opened a portal to Konoha and the four of us walked through and arrived at Auntie's office.
Sato: Aunt, we are back, but there was an incident in the Land of Tea that led to the destruction of a small village. A monster about 10m tall attacked this village and destroyed all the houses. I guess it was a Familiar Spirit since its tracks disappeared into the forest. Ms. Wetzler mentioned that there had already been an attack like this on a village in the past. I rescued the survivors from the rubble and built them a new house and installed a fuinjutsu. If the building is destroyed I will know immediately.
Tsunade: Good job, I'll contact the Anbu for information about it. You can collect your reward at the mission reception, I don't have any money here right now.
Sato: Got it.
We left the room and my genin started smiling as we picked up the money for the C rank mission.
Linn: Sensei, don't we have to divide by 4?
Linn said after counting her share.
Sato: Actually, yes, but the money is so little that I can do without it.
Fui: Really we can have your share.
Sato: You can buy your little sister something sweet for it or buy yourself new shurikens and kunai, your old ones aren't the best anymore.
All three looked at me happily.
Sato: Stop drooling, I usually only do A and S rank missions. I have saved enough money to be able to do without change. Do we want to go out for something to eat?
All three nodded and we went to Teuchi.
