Without hesitation, David leapt down in to the valley, summoning tentacles to stop him from sliding down the slippery grass.
Following the system's map, David made his way towards the center of the valley.
He could hear the faint bubbling of the stream, but nothing else.
Suddenly, rising out out of the fog, was the side of an Earthen Cattle.
It had fallen to its knees, and its head was slumped against the ground. David walked around the entire body, looking for any signs of damage.
But he couldn't see anything, there were no bite marks, nor were there any wounds from claws or anything of the sort.
"What?" Confused, David was almost about to try and lift the enormous body of the Earthen Cattle, but then something caught his eye.
There was a faint trickle of blood, hidden in the darkness and amidst the thick hair that covered the cattle's body.
David's eyes followed the trickle up, towards the top of the enormous body.
