The duo was now back to the palace, and Charlotte went to visit Sera as soon as she could. The little pup was now in good shape. The alpha king provided them with a house as promised. It was a tiny meadow at the end of a lane lined up with houses. Trees grew scattered around the neighborhood, it was a simple and quiet environment. The house was little but comfy, a far cry from their shabby house at Lycan Tundra. Now that the couple didn't need to hide their amazement.
Sera's mother, Sadie, gawked at Ella. She had a hundred and one questions in her mind but didn't want to offend her. Who knows what a witch would do when annoyed?
"Ask away," Ella prompted with a grin.
"Is this what witches look like? You look pretty much like us."
"That's because I'm not completely a witch."
