"Ella, fight me with magic this time," she breathed.

Charlotte cursed aloud, burning in fury.
"I said fight me again!" She yelled, charging at Ella with her dagger in hand.
Before she struck, she felt herself suspended in midair and strong hands grasping her hands gently.
"Easy, my lady," Aurelius spoke behind her.
The sound of her mate calmed her down a bit, but she still had some anger left in her. She was very angry at herself, angry about the damned prophecy, angry about her inability to see her father because she couldn't use the crystal ball, angry at her mother that's nowhere to be found…
He dropped her gently and hugged her from behind.
