As Yui started living together the house became more lively. There were a few changes that came with him. For example, there has been a very ugly vast at the corner of living room for a long time now. Kaia has tried many times to remove it but Julian insisted that it was "appealing" to the eye. Truth about Julian is that the guy has a handsome face but he had a weird taste in almost everything. People don't know this because they only ever saw him in a suit, and most of his suits were picked out by Kaia.
It was when they were still living in Kaia's small apartment when Julian came back home wearing a rock n roll black shirt paired with pink shorts and a Hawaiian sandals because the store owner told him he would look good in those. Trust me when I say it didn't.
Anyway coming back to the vase, it was instantly gone the moment Yui said it didn't fit the house's asthetic. Kaia thanked him for that silently of course. More than that there were some pictures of them together when they were in highschool in the living room now. It was like a mockery to Kaia. He had never taken a picture with Julian other than that one time when the company was first established and they had a celebration party with their first client. He felt jealous looking at those pictures.
For that alone Kaia stayed more in the gym then going back home. I guess it was true that heartbroken guys spent their time in the gym. It is almost summer now and the cold winter has started to pass. And it was almost time for the shooting of Laila's movie to start.
A call came in while Kaia was talking a walk in the park. It was Laila calling to bare hopefully good news.
"Kaia, it's Leila. We have decided to put you in for the role of the brother. Congratulations Kaia..."
Kaia jumped up from the bench he was sitting, "Really!?" He yelled not believing what Laila has said..
Laila smiled and continued, "Of course, there was another guy but we put him in for another role so you have your character now. We'll be sending the full script soon. Good luck Kaia. Oh and this Sunday Phil wants to congratulate you so let's get together."
"Okay! Sure" Kaia replied happily.
The call ended and for the first time in a while he was extremely happy. He thought of doing something for tonight and went to buy beef steak for dinner.
What was going to become a celebratory dinner went downhill when Kaia walked in on the two of his "roommates" having sex in the kitchen. Good thing was he didn't really walked in the kitchen, he just heard the sound when he came near it.
Kitchen sex, this was always a fantasy for Kaia. His happiness before said bye bye and the sadness and anger started coming in.
This was a penthouse so the living room was big and the kitchen was all the to the back separated by a wall. Kaia didn't feel like doing anything now so he just put the beef he bought on the table nearby the kitchen and went up the stairs to his room.
And yes he cried to sleep all night.
