When he woke up, his eyes were all puffy and red. Kaia didn't feel like going out at all so he just decided to stay in bed all day.
Downstairs, Julian noticed that Kaia hasn't woke up at all. Last night he saw the beef steak when he came out the kitchen so he thought Kaia must've been there. He took them in the refrigerator and thought of making something breakfast for both Yui and Kaia as an apology as he knew Kaia must've heard what was happening last night in the kitchen.
The thing is it was way past the time from the usual wake up hour for Kaia. Julian thought of going up to his room but stopped when Yui walked in on him.
"Good morning!" Yui said with a warm smile. His hair was messy and his eyes still droopy not wanting to open them. The thought about Kaia vanished from Julian's mind when he saw this cute man coming his way wearing his (Julian's) own shirt which was too oversized on him (Yui).
The two ate their dinner with a peaceful atmosphere.
"You know, I got a call back yesterday and I didn't get that part for the movie. I was late to the audition, you know why but still I really wanted to be a part of it. It's a movie adaptation from one of my favourite novels and I was a little excited that I would get to work alongside Director Bryan and the author.." Yui said while sipping his coffee.
Actually he was late because his father was hospitalized for a heart attack that day so he rushed to the hospital instead. And of course the one who took him there was Julian.
"Hm... Did you regret?" Julian said eyeing Yui.
Yui gave a sigh and just said, "No but I would've been more happy if I did get it. I have been working in small films and this could've been my big break. It's not the main role but it's an important character, I know very well because I've read the novel multiple times..." Yui breadth a huge sigh of relief and continued, "... If someone else got the role than they deserve it. It's okay I'm sure there'll be more opportunities."
This was one of the things Julian liked about him, from their first meeting Yui had always been a humble person, kind and caring to others. It was sad to see him struggle every time something good was about to happen. The incident involving Julian's father was one of them, Yui's family business going bankrupt, Julian thought that everything was because he had loved him.
Julian always thought that he would give Yui the best of all and that's why he had worked hard for years. So now he was going to give everything he can.

It was a month prior to the starting of the shooting that Kaia recieved a call and was told that he was off the team.
"We're sorry to inform that we found a more suitable actor for this role. We hope to work with you in the future.." they said.
Kaia was shocked and couldn't believe it. Clearly they chose him and yet how did this happen. That too this late in time, he had been preparing his best all this time.
Another call came. It was Laila, she was furious and mad.
"How can they do that to you!?..." Kaid almost lost his hearing but still he calmed her down and told her to explain what happened.
"Some big investor came and demand that they give the part to their actor. And the directors and producers said yes in the blink of an eye! Without even consoling with me."
At this point Kaia went numb, this always happens whenever he does well, some bigshot with money always swoops it up.
"I'm gonna demand they put you or else no movie at all!" Laia roared.
"No! Don't.." Kaia tried calming her down, by now it was too late probably to even do something after all the announcement for the movie has already been made and the casting will be out in a few days as a surprise for the fans, "it's fine Laila, your fans has been waiting for a long time so don't do that."
"But-.." Kaia cut her off, "it's okay.." he said, "maybe this time wasn't for me. There will be next time for sure. I won't give up so don't worry." He tried his best calming her down and finally she agreed and cut off the phone.
The world felt so small as if there was no room for Kaia. He just went to his bed and started crying. This time no matter what his tears couldn't stop coming down. His bed sheet was now soaked in his tears, all alone in his room without anyone knowing.

"Hey! Julian you won't believe what happened...", Yui called happily from his company's studio. He was helping a senior with dance practice and he suddenly got a call from the casting director bearing good news. And he immediately called Julian.
"... The guy who got the part got sick so they're bringing me in for the role! Can you believe my luck?" Yui continued.
"Hm I see good luck." Julian replied and said goodbye as he was busy.
Mr Han ask with curiosity, "Sir, may I ask why the decision to suddenly invest in a movie?"
Julian smiled and said, "Nothing just helping a friend."
Unbeknownst that the person he removed was none other than Kaia.
