After few hours they reached the human town bustling with beast people as well as human the biggest trading markets was in human town it can be said that despite being the most fragile species human intelligence is unparalleled they have modern equipment a well developed trading markets and the trading business is not only limited to their own it's expanded throughout other species.
Even the elf tribe respected this creature for their intelligence and working design and amazing invention they have made. Astrid was like a small energy ball shaking with excitement and anticipation while the warriors went to see the first lord beast Astrid pulled indis along hopping around like a bunny.
He looked so cute that all the street vendors smiled unconsciously they say that joy and smiles are contagious well it indeed is the way "whoa! Slow down there or my precious lips are going to kiss the ground!" Indis said this line while flashing a brilliant smile at the young girls causing the group to giggle and hide their face flushed in embarrassment.
Astrid cringed at his flirty behaviour they were here to have fun but here his friend trying to start a family. Simply ewe. He released the cringy flirt guy slowing down his pace staring at the shops on either side of street so many clothes stores. without thinking he went in exploring the shop indis followed behind him tapping his shoulder again and again to grab his attention which made Astrid a bit annoyed at him.
Just when he turned around to snap at him a beautiful golden coloured pocket watch was shoved straight into his face a rose flower was engraved on it , for a moment Astrid was dumbstruck indis titled his face his half profile coming into Astrid's view. Astrid could almost see his full smile even when the face was half hidden "happy birthday. It's your birthday gift do you like it?"
Astrid snatched the pocket watch examining it with great interest he has a wide collection of such watches like rabbit engraved, birds etc he was always fascinated with these mechanical things created by humans recently he had heard about the new engraved rose and butterfly watches he so badly wanted these two for his collection but since they were new they were a little hard to find plus expensive and he was the only one working currently so he was trying to save some currancy to buy things for his mother.
Astrid gave a bright smile corner of his eyes glistening with unshead tears but this emotional mood was ruined by a very rude statement "if you cry I will leave you behind i don't wanna to be a babysitter I'll have you know!" Suddenly Astrid wanted to punch this man but he held back knowing that this was his way of caring for him.
Astrid closed his eyes took a deep breath and opened them with a brightest smile he could muster "thank you." Indis shrugged as if it was not a big deal but he wasn't able to suppress his smile giving out how happy he felt for his little brother. So for next few hours they roamed the street unaware that a pack of wolves was on hunt for them.

On the other side the warriors reached the inn there were many wolf on petrol around it from the looks of it the whole inn was booked by the first lord when they reached the gates few strong wolves with a particular black haired wolf leading the group came to pick them up from there only the elder elf and his son Eren along with few trusted warriors were allowed to enter the rest of the group stayed behind.
The black fluffy ear long tailed wolf stared at them with an natural air of arrogance surrounding him his deep black eyes looking down at them he didn't say a word until they reached a clean plain room with a silver ear wolf lady sitting on the head sit while the elder elf was lead to sit on opposite side the others were made to stand.
The arrogant wolf dismissed his companion standing behind the first wolf lord the pair looked dangerous exuding a dominant aura for a second the elder elf who was stroking his beard breaking the silence "I want to see that crystal" he was ready to fight them for that crystal after all their species was prone to be exploited for power gain he was desparate to excute this weakness of them.
He thought he would have to put up a fight verbally offcourse he wasn't stupid enough to go against someone who literally killed a god. Although he was prepared to trade his son not that he didn't love his own child but the life of thousands in comparison to one is nothing beside if his son really was this lord's mate than they might even get the protection of her pack he knows how much the wolf pack values their mate don't even talk about their Luna he sincerely hopes that his son is that reborn mate otherwise he has no idea how he was going to convince this overbearing beast lord.
Jinx took out a little blue crystal and threw it towards the elder which he grabbed in time after all elf race is famous for their agility and quick reaction. The elders eyes went wide in shook the crystal was clearly not a heaven blessed object but instead formed by someone spiritual energy but even a god will have hard time giving up something this precious but here she is throwing around as if it's just another ping pong ball.
Jinx "seen enough? Now I will come to the point I want something in return."
Here we go he knew that everything has price but he sincerely hopes that the price is not few elf heart to satisfy this beast lords Power hunger one can only hope " What would you like to trade this with?" Jinx leaned on her chair her gaze swiping past the faces of elf but to her disappointment the person she was looking for was not there.
Jinx was desparate to meet him barely keeping her sanity she wanted to attack and abduct that mischevious fairy but she held herself back not wanting to scare away her little prey unknown to her two diamond like red eyes were staring at her passionately. Eren was someone who naturally admired power and status and seeing how this beast lord was unmatched in power coupled with the fact of well developed those muscles and godly handsome that face is he so badly wished that he is the reborn mate she is looking for if not he was even ready to be a replacement.
Jinx closed her eyes suppressing the urge to run wild in her beast form and capture that little bunny she touched earring on her left ear seeking comfort as she ever so gently caressed it this kind of wild thought she has been having them since past 17 years and every time she would bury them after all her mate was still not of appropriate age.
But today the feeling of possessing the feeling that her mate was somewhere close and she needs to capture him now or else he would slip away like sand these thoughts were driving her nuts Jinx had no idea why she was having such reaction maybe it was because they passed by her mate so she could faintly smell that sweet smell making her hungry to have a bite.
Jinx opened her eyes the dark golden eyes locked with the elf elder "I am sure the elder already knows what I want. " The elf elder sighed as his tense shoulder relaxed.

Jinx was puzzled by his last words the time she met her little fairy he was held by a human women and the supposed father was killed by the pack of Wolf's so how the hell is he the father? Seeing her demanding gaze for answers the elder elf pushed his son ahead presenting him in front of the beast lord.
The white haired elf bowed gracefully with a seductive smile which could even allure a god in heaven let alone this beast but to his deslike Jinx only spared him a glance before coldly looking at elf elder "he is not my mate."
The elder was stunned for a second if it's not his son then who could it be it doesn't even matter who it is what matters is how was he supposed to convence other elf parents to give away their child he was stuck in a dilemma but he decided to not think about it "then may I ask the lord who her mate is?"
Jinx closed her eyes remembering those shiny golden Sun kissed hairs and those deep blue eyes her lips arched in a sexy grin making Eren gulped subconsciously. "Golden hairs blue eyes his name is Astrid."
For a moment the elf elder looked puzzled then he remembered there was one youth who once beat his son in the healing spell magic competition at that time he was too busy giving his son an earful for coming second that he didn't pay attention to that child but he clearly remember that child was a famous talent among the youths the warriors and masters would often talk about him offcourse he wasn't that talented to suppress his son who always won the 1st place in every competitive since he was child but he had to admit that child was gifted with some good healing spell magic.
Eren's face went pale hearing about that name he wanted to curse that little shit out he really didn't know why that bad luck was following him everywhere he hated that boy who could beat him easily but choose not to letting him be the 1st it was simply an insult he really wanted to tear that brat apart who does he think he is. Eren bit his red lips in frustration.
Elf elder "I wil bring him to you so should I consider this deal sealed?"
Jinx opened her dark gold eyes staring at the elf elder with her piercing gaze when she was going to say something a brown haired elf boy who came with them interrupted "umm.. that elder Astrid came with us to the town so he is probably still roaming the town." The boy shut up when the elf elder glared at him. He knew that yellow haired freak came with them but he didn't want this lord to know otherwise what if she changes her mind and takes away the crystal along with her mate wouldn't they gain nothing but loss out of it?
Jinx eyes glowed as her sharp cannies surfaced no wonder she could smell him no wonder she was going crazy with the urge to run wild and capture him turns out the rabbit has entered the Wolf's den of his own accord Jinx stood up existing the door in hurried footsteps as the arrogant man followed behind her but before he left he turned around "Our lord is very kind consider that crystal a small gift now you can all go get on your way. "
Elf elder was angered by his words but he couldn't say anything clinching his first until his knuckles turned white the arrogant black wolf left without even caring to look back at their reaction, isn't this equal to being kicked out politely? But who cares they got what they came for this crystal can last up to thousands of years with this in their tribe no wolf will ever dare attack an elf for their heart again.the elder watched silently as the two beasts disappeared in an instant he has only heard that love can make a even a beast act like a loyal slave today he has seen it with his own eyes he felt jealous that he has lived for hundreds of years yet his marriage was purely political based there was no such thing as love in his whole life naturally what you don't have you can't give it to others so even when he had a son he never knew how to be a loving parent.

Jinx got out there were many people in the Market so it would be hard to detect him by scent she called out to the arrogant black wolf "covy! " The black wolf appeared in front of her bowing on one foot "yes my lord."
Jinx "send out everyone tell them to search for golden hair blue eyed elf and warn them to not touch a hair on their future luna's head or else I'll personally rip their limbs apart do understand?!"
Her gaze was so murdering and tone so harsh that it made the black wolf shudder as his ears and tail laid flat against his body in fear "Yes my lord!" With that said he disappeared there were total of hundred wolf guards with them he Covy split them into team of four with each having 25 guards.
Call it luck or coincidence the neither of the four groups found the golden hair elf it was Covy who found him he was so excited to meet their packs luna that his tail was practically wagging.Astrid totally unaware of the danger was shopping some jwellery from the nearby stall for his mother as he and indis looked around the stall he picked a pearl necklace it was delicate and beutiful.
"It's beutiful right? Do you think she will like it?"
Indis nodded his head taking the pearl necklace in his hand carefully looking it over "hmm.its pretty I think aunty will love it"
Just when indis was going to take fish out his pocket money to buy it they both heard a deep husky voice sending chills down their spine. "Lord Astrid?" Astrid turned his head a bit confused as to who will address him like that
But when he saw a black furred wolf with his cannies out staring at him with a creepy smile he almost screamed his lungs out he quickly hid behind indis who got into battle stance.
Covy ignored the red haired elf completely intending to grab Astrid's arms he stepped ahead but something cold pressed against his throat he looked down the tip of the sharp dagger was straight pointed on his throat a cold glint passed his eyes "Get the hell away from a us" Covy carefully observed the little red haired elf and marely scoffed in annoyance.
"Do you think a mare red hair chick like you can even scratch me?"
Covy was from a wealthy and powerful family naturally he was stronger than any ordinary wolf since he was small his parents have shown him that he was naturally above others hence his natural arrogance was deeply craved in his bone but indis who also was from a reputable family himself with amazing combat skills was opposite humble and kind in nature since spending time with Astrid and his mother concept of equality was a norm for him this was his first time ever getting called a red haired chick.
Indis loved his red hairs and was a proud guy his moto was straight give respect recive it in return Astrid gasped at the insult while indis hand on dagger tighten as he sneered at the impudent wolf guy Astrid felt his luck was bad it was his first time to come to human town and they haven't even explored it yet but here they are going against a wolf in the middle of day he really wanted to cry specially that this black fur idiot has insulted indis about his sour spot he really wanted to slip away from the upcoming bloody scene.
Covy smirked as he thought that he had scared the red haired elf shirtless that he couldn't move so he started to walk towards Astrid again but suddenly a hard first landed on his jaw making him see stars in the middle of day he cursed "shit! You red haired freak! Are you looking to die!?" But indis didn't say anything swiftly walking towards Covy as he lifted his right leg aiming at that gorgeous face.
But to his suprise Covy caught his foot with one hand green veins pooping up on her forehead Covy was pissed he grabbed indis foot throwing him on the nearby stall with this fight there was a loud commotion all the people running for covers as stall owner shut their business for the day after all they were just human much fragile than elf and wolf not wanting to get caught in the cross fire every human ran as if their life depends on it.
Astrid wanted to help his friend but he was damn afraid of that wolf but when he saw indis being thrown on the stall as he vomited some blood Astrid couldn't bear it drawing his sword aiming it straight for the Wolf's chest but the wolf was fast as he looked at the on coming attacker he dodged it skillfully even kicking the sword away from Astrid's hand "Lord Astrid! Stop fighting! Or i would be ripped to pieces by lord Jinx ! if I accedently hurts you!"
Astrid who pulled out a small dagger from his waist wanting to attack the wolf was stunned stiff to hear that name Lord jinx? Is this wolf guy talking about the infamous first beast lord!? But why the fuck would she have anything to do with him!? Before he could voice out his thoughts a strong punch landed on Covy's face making his another cheek swollen with red bruse as he spit out blood.
Indis was standing in front of the half kneeling Covy with eyes which spelt murder "Did you really think one hit from an piece of rotten metal could actually harm me?" Covy was a bit stunned by this elf's recovery and power that he was hit with he had used almost half of his strength enough to kill few elf but unexpectedly this one seems a tough nut to crack.
Even in his pack there was no wolf who could match his strength let alone an elf who he always considered to be their natural prey one can say when Covy coughed blood on his hand it gave him a reality check plus existential crisis his image of himself on the verge of shatter he was angered beyond the point of redemption.
"Seems like someone is desparate to die well then I'll full fill your wish!"
Covy drew out his nails going on full attack mode trying to tear indis off but the elf are agile like water he naturally dodged those attacks with a smug face which made Covy even more angry the fight was going well so Astrid decided to stay out of the one on one combat besides he knows how powerful his friend is if he meddles now he would only add to chaos so he stayed to side watching this 3d real life wolf and elf fighting from the sides title "enemies meeting on the narrow road! " Sigh+ if only he had popcorn to eat with this show (ㆁωㆁ).
"Seems like little puppy is having a hard time biting off more than he could chew?"
For a second Astrid felt the atmosphere was off are they fighting or flirting? In the next moment it was clear that they were doing both at the same time indis caught one of the world's hand giving him a firm kick with such brute force making Covy bend but indis lifted his head giving out a smirk with his face few inches away those green eyes were fiercely staring down straight into Covy's soul even if this wasn't time and place his heart thumped against his chest staring at that captivating face but this allure was broken by the insulting and poisonous words.

Ahh...he takes it back he wants to punch that beutiful face with that in mind he swiftly caught those pale long arms which held were on par with his own strength indis was taken off guard as his both wrist as he was tackled to the ground a hard punch landing on his right cheek his lip was rip open as deep black eyes with curiosity stared at him.
The wolf had handsome features flashed with a close up it was magnified to great extent even though the slightest red swelling on both cheeks coupled with the blood stained lips give a seductive air if only there was not that smug smile plastered on that face like a bloodthirsty animal who caught his prey and looked like he wanted to kill him on spot tear him limb to limb maybe indis would have given him 10 out of ten rating.
"You piece of shit! Get your dirty hands off me!"
"Hahaha! Maybe if you cluck like a chicken i might let you off red head!"
"You! Who are you calling chicken!? Look at yourself first doggy!"
While these two people were engaged in a fiercy battle of pissing eachother off by verbal abuse which counted as bark with no bite on the other side someone was on the verge of losing their sanity.
Jinx was crazily sniffing the air trying to catch the traces of that sweet smell but no matter how hard she tried it was no use there were too many elf's, human, beasts the sweet scent was well hidden as if deliberately testing and teasing her to her limit. driven by madness she frantically searched hopping from every roof to roof until she reached the highest building to look.
There she saw the chaotic fight the bloody mess of people tumbling and tripping over eachother as the two people fought eachother one elf one wolf neither willing to submit but amidst the chaos she spotted for the person she was looking for her golden eyes darkened her pupils dilating, without thinking twice she hopped in that direction that appetising scent getting stronger with each leap making her increase her speed.
